We wanted a romantic dinner to celebrate a birthday and were more than satisfied.
Welcome rose, carefully prepared dishes, and balanced portions.
Very professional, attentive, and courteous staff.
A truly beautiful evening in an exclusive location.
A varied menu with traditional appetizers, first courses, and second courses.
The giardiniera was top-notch!
But I would have included the pisarei (the only flaw: I'm crazy about pisarei).
Otherwise, everything was truly perfect.
We'll be back!

11/11/2025: It's like eating at grandma's. The food is delicious and cooked with love. The waiters are kind, polite, and fast. The atmosphere is a well-preserved old house, informal, and everything takes you back many years.

12/10/2025: It's difficult for me to give 5 stars but this time they deserve it. It's strange to find excellent and well-presented fish on the Piacenza hills. The place is located in a beautiful square with excellent service both in terms of service and presentation. The tables and the place are good.

13/08/2025: Perhaps one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Light, easy to digest, with quality ingredients. The staff is young, not very experienced given their age, which can lead to some inattention, but overall very friendly and approachable. The prices are excellent for the quality. The Zapata, a mix of ingredients that blend perfectly, I recommend it; I would have eaten two more.

02/11/2025: Forgive the inadequate service. It took a staggering 3 hours for a lunch with the restaurant half empty. The wine list was being remade without any indication of what was available. Dirty dishes. All the dishes brought to our table were dirty. I imagine it was a dishwasher issue, but it was still unacceptable. The gnocchi fritto was the worst ever, and the rest was nothing special.

13/10/2025: I stopped by yesterday to find out the location and possibly ask if there was availability for a meal, since the internet showed it was open.
To find the entrance, I drove ten minutes to Sarturano. I found a house with a sign saying the restaurant is not here. I found a parking spot, went in, and walked down a path. There was absolutely nothing, a dog resting, and no sign with opening hours.
I went to Giovannelli's and I wasn't wrong.
If you want to make yourself known, given the positive reviews, you need to change something.

Beautiful, welcoming, and quaint place. Delicious, top-notch food. Some dishes are worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The wine list is very well-stocked and the service is friendly and professional. One of the best places I've ever been in the Piacenza area.

19/10/2025: A charming, well-kept, and welcoming place. The same goes for the lady who welcomed us. The only downside is the lack of a POS terminal, but we resolved this with an instant bank transfer. 😊

We spoke with the owner about organizing a snack to celebrate a ceremony. Our guests would be around 35-40.
A buffet was planned, consisting of an appetizer and a first course, both of which were extremely small in quantity for the number of people and the agreed-upon price. Furthermore, the risotto was undercooked: al dente is fine, but this was undercooked, in my opinion!
As expected, the restaurant would also prepare a cake for us.
The cake was beautiful, but it was a shame the owner cut it into really small pieces. Everything had been planned so she could keep the remainder (which she did because we forgot to ask for it).
The location is very beautiful and quaint.

07/05/2025: Servizio pessimo (sarà perché come ha detto il nostro cameriere non sono paghi un c), 1 ora e passa per essere serviti. I piatti sono arrivati tutti sfalzati (io ho mangiato un ora prima degli altri!).
La qualità del cibo sicuramente al di sotto della media. Non consigliato.
Nemmeno a dirlo, scontrino fiscale non ci è stato chiaramente fatto….
