18/03/2026: Second time here. Excellent food, fast, friendly service! Great price.

09/03/2026: Ate last night, perfectly digested. Well-maintained historic location, large parking lot, warm, enigmatic entrance. I enter, the bar is friendly and feels like a club. I ask for lunch. I take advantage of letting my Russian chef wife order agnolini to introduce him to a certified agnolini. Together we order a potato tortellone, and I order a fillet steak with black truffle and potatoes, followed by dessert. I eat, and a lovely surprise: here, normality is perfection. While I'm making fun of the chef's embarrassment to the person serving me because he served me the fillet steak in a cast iron dish, which is usually used in Chinese cuisine (lupus infabula), the chef/owner himself comes out into the dining room; after I teased him that I thought he was Chinese, he very kindly explained to me the canonical choices of the agnolini, his history, and that of the restaurant. His passion and expertise confirmed to me that it was possible that there the norm was to eat perfect dishes, but also not boring because as you eat them, every new bite tells you something new.

09/03/2026: Warm and welcoming location on a February evening with a roaring fireplace. The host is friendly and kind, explaining his dishes and the origins of the ingredients. The waitress is charming and courteous. This alone makes dinner worthwhile. Incredible dishes, with a wide selection of vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

06/03/2026: A warm and characteristic place, top-quality food, raw materials, and preparation, a wine list with excellent bottles, excellent value for money, we'll be back tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and so on.

01/01/2026: Dinner with friends. Five of us ate an appetizer, four first courses, five second courses without sides, and a dessert, but everything was modest and tasteless. The cover charge was excessive at €3. The location was average, and the prices were medium to high. Overall, nothing special!

23/12/2025: I'd say this is the best trattoria in Collecchio. You feel right at home. Michele is also excellent, a wonderful host. The staff is super friendly.

22/11/2025: We visited this bar this morning, and I have to say that the hospitality is their strong point. We had a croissant, a coffee, and a cappuccino, and the products were undoubtedly top-notch. The atmosphere is slightly dated, but that can be overlooked, as some of the photos on the walls of the dining room suggest a certain connection to the place's past. It's a simple bar, but also emotionally welcoming. Kudos to the owner, who is clearly the soul of the place.

27/11/2025: All the amenities are located below the hotel, so it's excellent. Their kindness and helpfulness were priceless. They gave me my room early in the morning, and I was able to stay with my cat, even allowing me to check out late in the afternoon at no extra cost. The breakfast was good, and the pancakes were delicious. The only complaint, for those of us who are meticulous, was that dust removal was a bit neglected (despite the sheets, towels, and bathrooms being spotlessly clean). The property clearly has a lived-in feel, so it remains a functional place. Farida, an excellent receptionist.

24/10/2025: Good hotel for work! My only flaw is that I advise the housekeeping manager to supervise the cleaning staff better! (I dropped a pill under the bed, so I had to move it! Surprise! There was everything, including a lot of dust!!!!!)

08/03/2026: I had a really good pizza on Friday night, a Mediterranean one with a classic crust. We arrived late, around 10:30, and the service was incredibly fast. Dining with a loud football match playing on the screen behind you isn't exactly the best thing for me, but that's their specialty, and I'm sure many will go there for that. The pizza is still recommended.

27/01/2026: Bar Trattoria Roma, in all honesty, is that kind of place you avoid on the street because it doesn't look trustworthy from the outside. But in this case, it would be a shame to pass by Madregolo near Collecchio and not stop in for lunch. Authentic cuisine in a very simple, typical trattoria setting. Every dish reminds you of your mother's, or even more so your grandmother's, because you can taste the heart and soul of the person cooking it. Their signature pasta e fagioli is a must-try, but if you're passing by during December, you absolutely must try the cotechino served at this restaurant, which is well above the average. The prices are also incredibly reasonable.

21/01/2026: A trattoria like it used to be. You feel right at home, especially because it feels like you're walking into someone's home. The location looks like a 1950s house. You may or may not like it, but what matters is not the location, but the quality of the food and the good price. I'm very satisfied. Highly recommended. The business lunch is highly recommended. P.S. I recommend booking to be sure of getting a seat.
