05/08/2024: We were very well received in this hotel, our daughter having a special diet enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, the setting is very pleasant and the room was very well equipped. The team is charming. About 20 minutes from Modena by car, a perfect stopover for our family trip. THANKS.

15/08/2024: NB; is closed!!! August 5 to 26, 2024. Walked here for the tastiest pizzas in Italy. There is a note on the door saying they are closed ;-( Addition: I wish everyone a very nice, well-deserved holiday, but I was not able to see, experience or taste anything, hence 1 star. I wrote a review because I couldn't find anything about the closure anywhere and to save others from this disappointment.

03/07/2024: Mi spiace dirlo perché speravo proprio di aver finalmente trovato buona pizzeria d'asporto vicino a casa...la pizza che mi sono portata a casa (abito a 200mt) era sottile e molle...nn c'è cosa che non mi piace come una pizza non croccante!

05/07/2024: It would be nice if vegan pizzas were offered with vegetable cheeses and not just a bit of vegetables, but I realize that the evolution towards a world without animal cruelty is slow and that Formigine is quite backwards, having said that, half a meter pizza is rubbery , while the round ones are too thin. The venue is cute.

01/09/2024: Lazy, arrogant and very inexperienced service, the place was half empty and no dishes came out of the kitchen. It's a shame because the fried gnocco and the tigelle were very good but everything else was left completely to chance! We also spent a lot so I would say we won't go back again.

02/08/2024: CLASSIC ITALIAN ! On Sunday, Oct 1st my wife and I had just completed tours of the Lamborghini and Ferrari Museums in Modena as part of our cars & food tour. Luca our limo driver for the tour ( organized by our travel agent ) brought us here for lunch at 1.30pm. We were introduced to Marco the owner by Luca who I’m sure has brought tourists here before. It was a warm day and all the diners were sitting outside under covered patios. A server named Maria ( also a chef ) came by to help us. First up I requested 2 glasses of cold water. I also asked if they had any beers apart from the Italian variety. Not surprisingly Maria said they serve just Italian beer. I needed a refreshing ice cold beer so I ordered one ! The lunch menu was quite extensive and very reasonably priced....though we would not be paying as it had been taken care of by our travel agent already. A friendly male server / food runner named Simone brought out my beer. My ice cold Italian beer tasted like an ice cold Italian beer ! We requested some fresh bread and Maria our happy server brought us a serve of lovely fresh bread. BONUS ! And a small serve of scrumptious flatbread. ENTREES ! My wife ordered Tortelloni al Funghi Porcini ( hand-made pasta stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach, served with porcini mushrooms ) and I ordered Tagliata al Porcini ( sliced beef with porcini mushrooms ). VERY IMPRESSIVE ! Our meals took a little while to come out but gee they were worth the wait. My wife went nuts enjoying her Tortelloni with Porcini Mushrooms. My Sliced Beef with Porcini Mushrooms literally melted in my mouth. DESSERT ! We asked for a slice of the chocolaty looking Cake in the display cabinet. It arrived courtesy of Simone the server with some other delicious sweet things. Nothing like a dessert meltdown to finish a good lunch ! WE HAD A GREAT TIME HERE !

26/05/2024: Location overlooking the castle. The service was prompt, the waiters were nice and friendly, the food was excellent. Coming to this bar is now a guarantee.

28/07/2024: Veniamo spesso a fare colazione in questo bar/pasticceria. I prodotti sono freschi e artigianali, tutti eccellenti. Anche i cappuccini molto buoni. Anche i pasticcini eccezionali. Personale cortese. Prezzi nella media. Non capisco chi scrive che trova un’esagerazione il conto. Forse non ha altri termini di paragone.

16/10/2023: Had dinner with a friend, I had an unlimited pizza menu, he had an unlimited gnocchi and tigelle menu, decent prices given that you eat as much as you want anyway (pizza 11.90, gnocco and tigelle 13.90) but then I'll tell you the details, really poor quality cold cuts for tigelle and crescentine and a you have the comment for the photo of the raw meat which as you can see is made up of half fat and the other not, while for the pizza the tastes are decided by the pizza chef and not by me as I thought it was because in other pizza rounds that I have done I decided me, and therefore I explicitly specified that I didn't eat cherry tomatoes, salami, fresh cheeses, mortadella and what do I get? A first course of pizza consisting of: artichokes and sausage, mushrooms and ham, -salami- and margherita... then in the second course of pizza I get: mozzarella and sausage, radicchio and balsamic and -parmesan- and bacon.. . then as the third course of pizza which was supposed to be the last I asked if I could choose the flavors and initially the request was denied but after insisting he accepted and so I ordered half "buffalo and cooked" and half 'Naples' made up of " anchovies, mozzarella and oregano", for the Naples part I can't complain but after seeing the other half I understood that it was a really sad pizzeria, meanwhile from the photo you can see the NO difference between the mozzarella of the Naples part and the "bufala" mozzarella " which instead should have been in the other half... and then the cooked ham comes to me raw??? In 24 years I have never seen the cooked and buffalo pizza which is my favorite with the cooked one being served raw... so it's up to you to judge... I understand the acceptable price but at least a bit of competence and quality in the ingredients
