21/09/2025: A very elegant and welcoming place. We were greeted with warmth and professionalism. They were willing to accommodate our 9-month-old baby's needs. Lunch began with a very good entrée, followed by two excellent first courses, two spectacular desserts, and a pre-dessert, a glass of Lambrusco, and a bottle of water for €40 each. Excellent value for money, and a noteworthy location. Highly recommended.

24/09/2025: Second visit, just as satisfied as the first one last year. Both meat and fish are excellent quality, and the prices are reasonable considering the ambiance and the sophisticated dishes. During mushroom season, I recommend their fried fish, which is truly top-notch. As for the fish, everything is delicious, from appetizers to main courses. A great find just outside Modena.

16/09/2025: Incredible food, some of the best I've ever eaten. Fast service, very welcoming staff, very romantic setting, and they even offered us a complimentary liqueur at the end of the evening.

07/09/2025: Last night I went to pick up some takeout pizzas, and during the very short wait I had the pleasure of talking with Simon, the owner, about gin, and in particular the huge variety available at Piccardy. Simon gave me some very interesting and intriguing tips on the different gins—what a connoisseur! Next time I'll try pairing the fantastic HD pizzas with one of the various gin and tonics they offer! 17/08/2025: I went for breakfast. The place is small but beautiful and well-maintained. They also have a bakery, selling bread, which I bought and liked. I had a cappuccino and an apricot brioche. The counter was well-stocked; recommended if you're passing by.

04/05/2025: Cosa dire,...non ci sono parole per esprimere la nostra gioia ed enorme soddisfazione ! ..prenotato da tempo per festeggiare il mio compleanno e quello di mia moglie che per motivi vari non abbiamo potuto festeggiare a tempo e debito; pomeriggio prima della cena tanto desiderata io non mi sento bene, ma per nessun motivo voglio rinunciare alla serata! E bene che ho fatto! Prima sorpresa: ristorante aperto solo per noi.. e questo la dice lunga sul senso dell'ospitalità; Seconda sorpesa: riferendo che non ero in grande forma e scusandomi quindi che non avrei potuto godere fino in fondo delle loro prelibatezze, si fanno in quattro a prepararmi a parte portate adatte alla mia situazione...terza sorpresa: si sono ricordati che al momento della prenotazione avevo parlato di compleanno e ci fanno trovare una torta (la loro inimitabile millefoglie) con una candelina per me e una per mia moglie! quarta sorpresa: hanno aperto una bottiglia di bollicine e hanno brindato con noi! Che dire, dopo una esperienza così in altri locali, per quanto eccellenti, non potrò provare le stesse emozioni, perchè atmosfera, disponibiltà, accoglienza a questi livelli sono un dono ed un'arte. Grazie!

03/10/2025: Too much rush and often rude. They get the dishes you order wrong and yell at you if you point it out. I strongly advise against their dishes with pre-cooked pasta, which will be served practically cold. Better to sauté four times. The two people who run this place say they are abominable, incompetent and a utopia. They don't know how to cook and don't accept any criticism. You pay too much for frozen and microwaved food. I can't even give this dump one star, but to be able to publish my review I have to. But trust me, it deserves minus 100.

24/08/2025: Silvia did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought gluten-free products and baked a cake for us. She's an absolute gem of a hostess. + Spacious, clean room + Well-equipped kitchen + Good breakfast + Nice pool + Quiet location near Modena and Bologna. - The only downside was the spotty Wi-Fi.

09/08/2025: A 19th-century place full of charm, simplicity, and excellent cuisine. The rooms are spacious with high wooden ceilings and wooden furnishings. The staff is kind and friendly. A small pool with a garden and loungers completes the welcome.

April 23, 2025 Back after a few years and was disappointed, especially with the service and the staff. After about 20 minutes, I still hadn't been able to order, but what really pissed me off was the bored look on the girls' faces on the first floor. Too bad.
