08/08/2026: We happened to stop here for lunch on our way to Bologna. The staff was incredibly friendly. You immediately feel welcome. The food is truly excellent, including some unusual regional dishes. Just ask for a recommendation. I would even make the trip back to this restaurant.

04/08/2026: Excellent family-run restaurant serving the best traditional dishes. Prices are moderate. Delicious, dry, and light fried gnocco, quality cured meats, excellent first courses, and even meat-based second courses. In short, Da Beppe is a guarantee.

02/06/2026: Fantastic tortellini and cured meats. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. Unfortunately, the prices were way too high for the portions. The service wasn't entirely bad, but the waiter seemed in a hurry, even though half the tables were free. We hadn't even had time to take the last bite before he'd take our plate off the table, and every two minutes he'd come by to ask if we'd finished our wine. It's a shame, because the dishes were truly delicious.

22/07/2026: The place is listed on maps as if it were a hotel, but it's primarily a restaurant. We ate here as a couple in July 2026 in the outdoor area, and in the summer, I recommend arriving after the sun has completely set because it's not always windy there, and at least that way it's less muggy. If there's room, it's nice to ask for a table under the trees; there aren't many available. Inside, there's parking for a dozen cars on a gravel path. We ordered two appetizers, a first course, a second course, water, and glasses of wine. Their classic mixed platter is very good, with appreciable quality of the cured meats, though perhaps a little lacking in quantity, especially the gnocco. The stuffed zucchini flowers are also fabulous and definitely worth trying. The pasta dishes are all fresh, handmade pasta, and you can taste it! We loved them. The wine selection is very extensive, also available by the glass. Cost for two: €90

12/07/2026: We arrived on Sunday afternoon, we were seated under a huge tree with wonderful shade. A long, prepared table was waiting for us (10 people). Pleasant, cordial and professional waiters, meticulous, perfect food. The atmosphere is great and the place is beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

06/07/2026: Immaculate inside and out, ignore the ancient negative reviews I have stayed in many places all over Italy and this was the cleanest. Rooms had great air conditioning comfy beds and very nice bathrooms. The property is tucked away in the countryside it’s quiet and a nice place to stay, we stayed there to visit all of the local car museums. We visited Bologna one evening for dinner and Modena for another and ate locally on our final night and the location is perfect for visiting those places. The pool is a welcome cool down and our host was lovely , when we were in the pool she brought everybody some freshly cut watermelon ! Breakfast was standard but decent quality , staff friendly and safe parking on site. I would stay here again

08/06/2026: Gorgeous property in a quiet and relaxing setting. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, the room equipped with every comfort, a very comfortable bed, and a wonderful view. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. A truly magical place, ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation. Highly recommended for both families and couples. We will definitely be back!

02/08/2026: We spent a few days in Castelfranco Emilia. The pizzas at Capitano are really, really good and super fast service. The creamy pepperoni pizza was amazing—plenty of toppings and a perfect crust...it's a shame we only discovered them on the last day because we would definitely order again.

06/07/2026: Tasty and well-filled pizza...but still so digestible that you could eat two. We like to eat it on-site because the atmosphere is also fun.

13/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery in Cavazzona. Everything we ordered was prepared with extreme care and impeccably presented on the plates. The sashimi in particular was incredibly fresh and melted in the mouth. The ravioli were also excellent and flavorful. It was a truly enjoyable dinner, and we can't wait to return.

30/06/2026: Excellent dinner, the garden has a romantic atmosphere. Everything was prepared to perfection. The only flaw is the wine list; a little more selection wouldn't hurt. It must be said that their own sparkling Pignoletto is of good quality, and since it's an agriturismo, that's fine.

I love their classic pizzas, but their monthly specials are always a pleasant surprise. Just one piece of advice: I'd expand the selection of appetizers and desserts a bit to make the experience even more complete. Well done! ✨"
