23/05/2024: Entri, tutto in ordine anche se il buon giorno non è di casa ma forse troppo indaffarati gli addetti. Presentazione al banco cornetti ottima alla vista ma mancano i gusti dal mio punto di vista più adatti come amarena o frutti di bosco, per far si che lieviti il prezzo alla bellezza di 3 euro cadauno signori si proprio così pensano di essere un 5 stelle nel deserto? ed è sconvolgente che ancora c'è tanta gente che ci vada. Credo sia un esempio che dimostri che la gente di oggi merita la società costruita in cui vive.

23/08/2024: After trying almost all the pizzerias in the area, I discover "Pizzeria da Marcello" and for me there is no competition. Soft dough, properly leavened, and highly digestible, together with quality ingredients make their pizzas amazing. You won't find the usual margherita, quattro season or capricciosa pizzas, but unusual combinations with local ingredients and beyond. They also have three types of dough: classic, wholemeal and gluten-free (and the gluten-free one is really delicious). For me, I repeat, there is no competition.

Truly spectacular and refined cured meats accompanied by a truly good fried gnocco. What can I say, a gem discovered by chance, which will surely be an obligatory stop every time you come to Carpi. Well done. Really good!

07/08/2024: We had dinner on a Sunday evening at the Masa Japanese restaurant in Carpi, located in a shopping complex. The outside of the place is quite anonymous, but the inside is modern and very bright, thanks to the numerous windows. The walls are adorned with colorful paintings and the dark tables are set with table runners, chopsticks and forks. The order is placed via tablet. The all you can eat menu is slightly smaller than other similar restaurants, but has the advantage of having no limits for some types of dishes and no time interval between one order and another. The dishes arrived at the table quickly and precisely, well looked after, and the portions were larger than usual, which was very positive for us. Particularly noteworthy were the raw salmon, really fresh and tasty, and the salt and pepper prawns, excellent. The staff was very kind and prepared. Overall, excellent food and top-notch staff, in a formal, well-maintained setting. If you want to have a quiet meal, Masa di Carpi is the place for you. The only small complaint is the price, slightly higher than other Asian restaurants, but acceptable considering the quality of the food and service.

17/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati qua visto che la nostra prima scelta era chiusa per ferie. Locale carino vicino alla piazza centrale e al Castello. Abbiamo preso una tartare e una burrata.
