15/09/2025: We only ordered the first course because we couldn't finish anything else. The seafood spaghetti was precooked and overcooked, and you could even smell some annoying sand on the plate. The vegan carbonara, on the other hand, was a dish made without knowing how to handle the ingredients. It was a struggle to finish both. I left the restaurant extremely disappointed!!!! I replied: "Thank you for your reply and for your time. It's true that the ingredients are listed on the menu, but I believe that describing them isn't the only thing that matters: the difference lies in how they are used and showcased. My review is intended to be a constructive contribution in this direction. Best regards!!!"

05/10/2025: Yes, they serve good food (pizza, pasta, fish, and meat) and delicious wine. The service is friendly and helpful. The food usually arrives quite quickly (although we always appreciate a bit of a wait, during which you can leisurely enjoy a beer or sparkling wine first). Reservations are recommended during peak season; in September, reservations are generally not necessary (except on weekends).

09/10/2025: Giannino is an upscale restaurant close to Centrale Stazione Milano. The ambience is definitely nice and very neat with receptionist and wardrobe service. The quality of food choices and taste are definitely very elegant and nice. The service is pretty slow, although there were many people for serving, everyone trying to do their little task definitely could improve. The time for the dishes to arrive were a bit longer. For the price they charge for sure they need to improve their service levels. It is a nice restaurant however you don’t get that wow effect.

Perfect, attentive, unobtrusive service with excellent language skills, an attractive ambiance, excellent seafood and pizza, and a delightful sparkling wine at a very reasonable price. Within walking distance of the well-maintained RV parking space. An absolute recommendation! Even a year later, there's nothing to complain about: very tasty food in huge portions, attentive service, everything was perfect. Update: We were here in September this year and were once again very satisfied with the service and the quality of the food.

Each course is prepared with great attention to both flavor and presentation, demonstrating remarkable care in the kitchen. The setting is intimate and cozy: we ate outside, where the atmosphere was particularly pleasant. The service was impeccable: the courteous staff were very attentive to the guests' needs. 16/09/2025: The fish was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was lovely, with outdoor seating as well. The waiter who served us was knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. A notable bonus was that we were offered a carafe of fruit-infused vodka at the end of the meal. That was also good.

26/09/2025: In my opinion, it's absolutely the best carbonara in Modena (and beyond). A small, intimate place, very well-maintained. BUT the carbonara can only be had with rigatoni, not tonnarelli, although the cacio e pepe is with tonnarelli. This seems absurd to me because, aside from my personal opinion that tonnarello beats rigatone 10-0, it's a pasta shape they have but refuse to use in carbonara. This is a huge flaw. I've been a customer four times already, and three times they offered tonnarello, but not the last time. I understand those who don't feel the need for tonnarello, but for me, rigatone "ruins" an otherwise delicious carbonara.

02/08/2025: The quality, quantity, cost, and, above all, flavor were not worth those prices. Anyone familiar with Roman cuisine knows it's very flavorful, authentic, and humble. A carbonara can't cost 15 euros, given the cost of the ingredients and the preparation (in Modena, a plate of tortellini costs 14, and there's a completely different kind of preparation behind it); just as three meatballs (not worthy of note) and a piece of bread crostini can't, in my opinion, cost 16 euros, considering average prices in Modena.

18/08/2025: Excellent pizza, probably for at least 30 years. The owner is incredibly friendly, a true Romagnolo, and truly great! The service is extremely simple, but totally efficient. One slice of pizza leads to another.

07/08/2025: The pizza here is really good, and since it's sold by the slice, you can choose how much you want. The dough is thick and soft, and absolutely delicious. They have various types, and the wait isn't long. The atmosphere is nice for those who want to eat there, like I did.

19/09/2025: The piadina was very good; the lady at the counter recommended the "Romagna mia" with Parma ham, squacquerone cheese, and arugula. We opted for the other one ourselves so we could split the piadinas in half 😂 with brie and smoked salmon, guacamole, and lettuce. We also had some potato croquettes, which were also delicious. Overall, the place is quiet and not very busy during the off-season, but I think they do a great job because the piadinas were very good. The staff was very friendly!

18/09/2025: The window display is beautiful. The bomboloni are spectacular, beautifully filled and delicious. It's a must-visit in the evening to enjoy a nice warm bombolone. The prices are super fair for the quality served.

19/08/2025: I'm not impressed with the service, because the waiters are young and busy. However, when you sit down, regardless of the restaurant's occupancy rate, they advertise a 1-hour wait (and we actually waited 45 minutes with the restaurant half-empty). My piadipizza had a bland and flavorless dough, and the ingredients were unbalanced. Those who ordered piadinas said they were less bad, but weren't particularly enthusiastic. The piadina for celiacs was available, but not prepared properly (rubbery watercress and a slightly reheated piadina). Mismatched tables and a basic atmosphere.

18/08/2025: Best piadina shop in the area, a characteristic 1970s-style building. Excellent quality and freshness of the products... Sauro is very kind (he made two mini piadinas with Nutella for the kids), as is all his staff. The only downside, if we really have to find one, is the long waits at peak times, but this is justified by the fact that they make everything by hand and on the spot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
