06/10/2024: If you like fish you can't miss going to the fry shop, here you can find excellent grilled fish and a special mixed fried fish from the valley, both to take away and to eat on site at self-service tables, too bad that in the evening there are mosquitoes. Average price for the quality, fast service and the managers are friendly.

08/09/2024: A recommendation!! The location in the middle of nature, on the beach is great - even if you only see the sea when you go up a few stairs. Pizza was good, the grilled fish too, service friendly. The prices are very cheap!!

24/03/2025: A wonderful discovery I often eat in Ostia (at the usual place to avoid making mistakes) this time a friend of mine invited me to this restaurant that I didn't know was a wonderful surprise, fast service, beautiful location on the sea, super good and abundant dishes. Prices within the norm of the place we will definitely return

24/08/2024: Excellent bathroom....but it has a flaw, which is the hot shower! If someone goes into the adjacent bathrooms to fill the drain with water... the water no longer comes out of the shower! I pointed this out to the bathroom manager, who was already very annoyed when I explained the problem to her, as was her response..... "that's if breasts suit you"...!!! I pay 1 euro for a shower for a few seconds, then if the water doesn't reach me, what kind of shower is it?? However, think about it before taking a shower there...change your bathroom!!!

08/01/2025: By far the best pizza of all Lidi Ferraresi. As a German-Italian food tester, this pizza particularly impressed me - you immediately notice that it is completely different from all other pizzas. The dough is matured twice as long and the pizza is much more digestible than any other. And the taste and ingredients on the pizza are simply fantastic. Eddy, the owner of Idea Pizza, is a true legend of the region and an absolute professional chef with the highest quality standards that you can taste from the first bite. I would like to be able to eat pizza like this in Germany. Apart from the pizzas, all of which I can recommend, the Fritto Misto is particularly delicious. You can tell that the Barillari family comes from a fishing family, and here you can also experience quality that tastes like it was freshly caught from the sea. Seafood of the highest quality. I absolutely recommend Idea Pizza, there is no better pizzeria in Lido Degli Estensi and the entire surrounding area. Top service, Idea Pizza is simply a family atmosphere. Sensational price-performance ratio. What more could you want! Dear Eddy, we'll see each other again soon! Many greetings from Franconia.

27/08/2024: La Ciliegina è garanzia di qualità. La piadina è fatta al momento con farcitura assortite, hanno un menù con aalmeo 50 varietà di piadine e rotoli, disponibili anche nella versione dolce. Gli ingredienti freschi e abbondanti.

25/12/2024: The Ice Cream Café is very good, a "nice" bar that we discovered and tried last Sunday. Having arrived on site at 5.15pm almost by chance during our walk 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️ through the streets of Lido di Volano (which also allowed us to admire 👀 the magnificent deer 🦌 of the pine forest 🌳), we entered and ordered immediately a couple of cappuccinos ☕️, a pastry with apples 🍎 and a rice pastry 🥧; the lady at the counter 👩🏻‍🦰 then served us everything via a tray that we independently brought to the table. After a while we then integrated our order with a tea 🫖 and another pastry, namely a fan partly covered in chocolate. Everything was certainly good 😋 and the atmosphere was pleasant given that the structure turns out to be a fairly popular meeting place. In fact, at the table next to us, a passionate 🔥 card game ♠️♥️♦️♣️ was taking place which reminded me of the bars/recreational clubs of the past. On the opposite side, however, another small group was stationed convivially 🍸🥂 in front of the counter. "Singular" was the manager 👩🏻‍🦰, who, when it was time to pay the bill, seemed to have disappeared. At that point, a nice and histrionic customer 👩🏻‍🦳 arrived at the counter explaining to us that the owner 👩🏻‍🦰 would sometimes be absent to look after three little dogs 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺; together we therefore consulted the price list 📋, displayed on the wall, trying to "interpret" the prices written in marker 🖍 (which had been corrected by hand ✍️🏻 but looked like hieroglyphics). At a certain point the manager 👩🏻‍🦰 returned and, without saying a word, allowed us to pay the total of 11 euros 💶, even giving us half a smile 🙂. The episode seemed frankly surreal to me but, ultimately, it made us have fun 😅. The role of the structure is strategic since it is the only bar in Lido di Volano present in the residential area (the others are all located at the beach establishments 🏖). Should the opportunity arise we will be back 👍🏻.
