09/03/2026: I've been coming to this trattoria for years. Traditional cuisine with time-honored specialties. Green nettle tagliatelle with prosciutto ragù, fried crescentine with cured meats, and, for a few years now, grilled Mora Romagnola beef, raised on site by the owners. Delicious, authentic, and excellent value. A guarantee passed down through three generations.

09/02/2026: Passing through Marzabotto with friends, eight of us had lunch there and were pleasantly surprised to find a welcoming atmosphere, traditional cuisine served excellently, and the owner was extremely courteous and ready to accommodate our many and varied requests. I highly recommend it.

Top-quality ingredients, perfectly sized portions, and impeccable staff courtesy and professionalism. Eating so well for such a reasonable price was a delightful surprise. Highly recommended!

23/02/2026: I have no idea what the rooms are like, or whether any are available, as I'm passing through with a group of over thirty people. The atmosphere is simple, yet welcoming and friendly. Excellent service, and the menu is simple but excellent. Generous portions; with the excellent appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, and bread alone, I would have eaten enough. Friendly and helpful staff. An enchanting place and a great meeting place for hikers, passing through places that bring sad memories, but also famous and very uplifting witnesses, a reminder of a difficult past, but also of great ideals.

22/02/2026: We went there, it was recommended by a friend, a very welcoming place, ample parking, the food is very good, the only thing I can say is the menu and said by voice without knowing the prices, it would be ideal to also write the menu of the day on a blackboard with the respective prices like all restaurants do.

08/02/2026: A traditional trattoria, run like it once was. If you're looking for sophisticated service, this isn't the place for you. Simple but authentic, it's like eating with family. Excellent food (call ahead for availability and menu). Recommended.
05/01/2026: "Antica Trattoria Monari" is what the entrance says, and it truly feels like stepping back in time to a time when flavors and tastes had something special! Highly recommended!

24/02/2026: We went to lunch with friends at a vintage restaurant with a fireplace. The welcome was warm. I had the borlengo with pesto and wild boar stew with tigelle. I'd say we ate very well... congratulations.
13/02/2026: Excellent food, friendly and professional staff. Very clean atmosphere.
We ate several different dishes, and they were all perfect and delicious.

17/03/2026: I went there for the first time, one morning in March 2026. I had lunch, even going back for seconds. A liter bottle of water. Coffee included. €15. The restaurant was almost full.
15/02/2026: We were passing through and stumbled upon this simple trattoria with delicious dishes, especially the tagliatelle with ragù and crescentine.
The staff were kind and welcoming; we loved it so much that on our return trip, we decided to stop by again!
I absolutely recommend it.

02/11/2024: Piccolo ristorante di fianco al fiume, che riserva un bellissimo menu, dove non si sa cosa scegliere, sentirei tutto. Ricette tradizionali ma anche particolari a cavallo fra Bologna e la Puglia. Servizio curato, buona cantina, Personale gentilissimo. Da tornarci.
29/09/2024: Locale molto curato con una terrazza incantevole che affaccia sul fiume, piatti gustosi e abbondanti, personale estremamente cortese. Consigliato!

13/06/2025: Volevo dire del posto niente di speciale luogo spartano menù a 35,00 euro escluso bevande a mio parere per quello che si mangia come agriturismo caruccio
07/06/2025: Siamo arrivati senza prenotazione ma siamo stati accolti con il bellissimo sorriso della titolare . Il luogo è fantastico, il cibo buono, genuino e abbondante. Siamo stati benissimo! Grazie!

17/07/2024: For those like me who love to travel this area by mountain bike it is certainly a good bar to have breakfast and rest...then everyone back on the bike...the owner is very nice....
