09/11/2025: A historic trattoria with a wonderful atmosphere, the owner's passion is touching. It was a memorable lunch, with a selection of delicious first courses, especially the buttered fagottino, basil crepes, and purple gnocchi with curry cream. The porcina (roast pork) with chestnuts was also delicious. It's a shame we didn't get to try the desserts, because the portions are generous and our bellies were already full and happy.

08/11/2025: Very nice restaurant, very kind and helpful staff. Excellent food, with daily specials always based on the city's typical specialties. Highly recommended.

12/11/2025: Excellent Sunday lunch, very filling, and very friendly service. We tried a bit of everything; the pork shank was very good (perhaps a little lacking in sauce) and the Bohemian gnocchi were superb. The desserts were also good. A little pricey, but nothing special. Highly recommended.

03/11/2025: I've had decidedly superior boiled meats. The meat was lukewarm, and even the sauerkraut wasn't great, a bit dry. It's a shame because the meat selection was inviting. In short, you search and enter a quaint restaurant expecting to find the best, only to find that it isn't. Pros include the very fast service and reasonable prices.

12/11/2025: One of the best buffets in Trieste! The giulianska was delicious, and the potato gnocchi with ragù were also very good. The service wasn't very friendly, but honestly, I don't care that much; the important thing is that the food was good. I should point out that there were two of us and we went on a Sunday for lunch, around 12:30, without a reservation. However, I recommend booking to be sure.

11/11/2025: I don't think I'd return. The place seems to be open for business... let me explain, no attention paid to the food, furnishings, or staff. Everything is themed, like... as long as people come in, we'll stay open, but we don't invest in improving. The prices are average, the dishes offered are fine, but if you want to indulge, it's definitely not the place for you. I don't recommend it. Furthermore, the wait staff's attitude is unfriendly and rude. Not to mention the bathroom... squat toilets... that's always been the case, and it's here to stay. In short, a mediocre and unsatisfying experience.
