02/01/2026: I chose to dine at this restaurant for the first time in January 2023, just before they closed for the winter season. I've since returned at least twice over the next three years. A sensational culinary journey, with an excellent wine list, absolutely worth a visit at least once in your life.

02/01/2026: What can I say? It was a wonderful experience! My friends recommended this restaurant to me, and I was very curious to try the dishes they explained to me, which were so tasteful and unique. I had a wonderful day and absolutely recommend it. Congratulations, especially for the service and Ardit's kindness. He also recommended some very good wines, and we did a small tasting, and it was all delicious. Thanks guys.

18/02/2026: Booked in advance for a lovely dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was prompt. The food, from starter to dessert, was delicious and of high quality, and arrived on time. The location was very unique and beautifully decorated. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely consider stopping by.

03/02/2026: We were accompanied by our Italian friends who showed us around the town and suggested this restaurant for dinner. Everything was perfect, and the place was beautiful and welcoming.

07/01/2026: Mandrake is a plant that's extremely toxic to humans. This restaurant, however, contrary to its name, offers dishes of great flavor and exquisite craftsmanship. I began my dining experience here with the classic finocchiona, which I normally don't finish because I find it very fatty; but with the one offered by La Mandragola, I would have gladly had a second helping (and that says it all!) I then continued with a soup of "vegetables, farro, and beans," which was exquisite as well as delicate, so much so that I didn't feel any of the heaviness that often occurs with this type of dish. A place of informal elegance, warm, welcoming, immaculately clean, and with a wonderful garden where, in the warmer months, not only the materiality of "taste" but also the spirituality of "sight" are satisfied. Efficient and professional wait staff; more than decent wine list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

15/12/2025: Passing through San Gimignano, I dined at La Mandragola; a beautifully curated and warm restaurant, with its colors and furnishings. There's a wide selection of food and drinks; I limited myself to two courses, but browsing the menu, I was tempted to try everything. The appetizer was excellent, and the tagliata steak was sublime. Andrea, the owner, is very attentive and thoughtful. The price was definitely reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the ingredients. What can I say? It's definitely worth a try!

04/01/2026: While visiting San Gimignano, I discovered this place... truly surprising; a welcoming and truly unique atmosphere, excellent food, and an equally amazing staff. Highly recommended.

07/12/2025: A restaurant located in the historic center of San Gimignano, featuring a quaint setting and a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. We went for dinner as a couple and had a great time. The service was attentive, the food excellent, and the prices reasonable. If you're passing through San Gimignano, this is a highly recommended place.

06/01/2026: We went to this place for dinner and ordered appetizers (neither great nor bad) and two first courses, including pappardelle with wild boar ragu. They were completely drowned in fat, so much so that we had to drain them in a second course. To finish, we had tiramisu made with two (in number) ladyfingers, hard because they hadn't been soaked in coffee, for the modest price of €7. Overall, an expensive place with a cuisine that needs a complete overhaul.

01/01/2026: The food was excellent, with excellent value for money. They were also very kind in helping us with children's dishes. The white truffle was spectacular.
