16/04/2026: We've been coming to Pienza for Easter for 20 years and always eat at Falco, and we've always had a wonderful time. We were very excited about the new management, and our expectations were more than exceeded. I've never had such a good scoglio before—super creamy, and the pici gave it that special Tuscan touch. The tagliata with mushrooms was also delicious. The tartare with the pecorino fonduta was a revelation. A very good wine recommendation rounded off the meal perfectly. The cheesecake with pistachio cream is absolutely fantastic. The waiters were very, very friendly, and even the chef came out briefly to say hello. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant for anyone who appreciates fantastic food.

14/04/2026: Wonderful dinner option in Pienza. We enjoyed a mix of appetizers, pastas and steak dishes. Service was great.

08/04/2026: We had a great lunch here! Food was incredible, great wine selection, excellent service and a amazing atmosphere. We also had our two month old with us and the staff was very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend. We ordered the timballo rustico, pici ragù, and lamb with the side of the day (seasonal asparagus).

02/05/2026: A decidedly negative experience. We had made a reservation, clearly specifying that we would bring strollers and a small dog (a toy poodle), and received no objections or instructions to the contrary. Once we arrived at the restaurant, however, the welcome was anything but professional: presumably the owner, in a brusque and decidedly impolite manner, prevented us from even sitting down, clearly showing annoyance at our presence and dismissing us abruptly. Beyond the lack of flexibility, what was striking was the attitude: disrespectful, lacking in customer care, and completely out of line with what one would expect from a business that serves the public. Even if there had been organizational difficulties, one would have expected a minimum level of availability, or at least a polite and constructive approach. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling deeply uneasy and disappointed. A restaurant should, above all, be a welcoming place, but in this case, the fundamental premise was completely missing: respect for the individual. I've never left a negative review for a business: my approach has always been to avoid it, even when mix-ups or unpleasant experiences occur. This time, however, I couldn't help but do so. For the first time, and hopefully the last, I encountered an attitude that it's no exaggeration to call demeaning toward customers. I believe this type of behavior should cause serious reflection for anyone who works with the public, especially tourists, for whom hospitality, respect, and professionalism should be essential values.

02/05/2026: We had a really good time, the prices were reasonable. The service was excellent, and the owner was a real pleasure to chat with.

03/05/2026: A restaurant within the ancient walls of the wonderful city of Pienza. A welcoming atmosphere. Everything was excellent, but the pici with duck ragù was fantastic! The apricot and walnut tart also deserves a shout-out. Highly recommended.

However, in terms of value for money, it leaves much to be desired. The dishes arrived cold, and the portions were very small: my companion ordered pappardelle and they only served five pieces, which is insufficient. Furthermore, the service was extremely slow, as there was apparently only one person serving the entire restaurant. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing.

10/04/2026: Entered empty terrace to get a drink, told we had to sit away from the view watching staff eat a sandwich, so left strange choice to turn down customers I would avoid this place personally. Nice view though.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!

31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro. Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.
