14/05/2026: Great experience! Truly delicious food, from the cheese platter to the white ragù to the meat. The place is welcoming and well-kept, with friendly, kind, and helpful staff. When we got the bill, there was an error in the order, but as soon as we realized it the next day, they were quick to correct it and refund us the difference. Their attention to customer service is truly appreciated. Recommended!

08/04/2026: We had a great lunch here! Food was incredible, great wine selection, excellent service and a amazing atmosphere. We also had our two month old with us and the staff was very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend. We ordered the timballo rustico, pici ragù, and lamb with the side of the day (seasonal asparagus).

02/05/2026: A decidedly negative experience. We had made a reservation, clearly specifying that we would bring strollers and a small dog (a toy poodle), and received no objections or instructions to the contrary. Once we arrived at the restaurant, however, the welcome was anything but professional: presumably the owner, in a brusque and decidedly impolite manner, prevented us from even sitting down, clearly showing annoyance at our presence and dismissing us abruptly. Beyond the lack of flexibility, what was striking was the attitude: disrespectful, lacking in customer care, and completely out of line with what one would expect from a business that serves the public. Even if there had been organizational difficulties, one would have expected a minimum level of availability, or at least a polite and constructive approach. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling deeply uneasy and disappointed. A restaurant should, above all, be a welcoming place, but in this case, the fundamental premise was completely missing: respect for the individual. I've never left a negative review for a business: my approach has always been to avoid it, even when mix-ups or unpleasant experiences occur. This time, however, I couldn't help but do so. For the first time, and hopefully the last, I encountered an attitude that it's no exaggeration to call demeaning toward customers. I believe this type of behavior should cause serious reflection for anyone who works with the public, especially tourists, for whom hospitality, respect, and professionalism should be essential values.

02/05/2026: We had a really good time, the prices were reasonable. The service was excellent, and the owner was a real pleasure to chat with.

03/05/2026: A restaurant within the ancient walls of the wonderful city of Pienza. A welcoming atmosphere. Everything was excellent, but the pici with duck ragù was fantastic! The apricot and walnut tart also deserves a shout-out. Highly recommended.

30/04/2026: If the welcome mirrors the way they answer the phone, it's certainly not a good start. Personally, I preferred not to find out the rest.

12/05/2026: The view is amazing. The food was good - just my portion of pasta was definitely too small for 18€. My spritz was forgotten and didn't arrive until I spoke to 2 different waiters. Food is definitely overpriced.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!

31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro. Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.

08/06/2025: Ogni volta che vado a Pienza, mi fermo sempre qui a mangiare perché non delude mai. Lo consiglio vivamente. Cucina della nonna eccellente

07/06/2025: Está claro que se trata de un pequeño restaurante familiar en Pienza: todo su corazón y pasión está en él. Tienen una terraza preciosa.
