03/06/2025: Bel posto in questo piccolo centro, meno frequentato di altri vicini. I gestori e i camerieri molto cordiali, nonostante fossimo in ritardo e a ridosso della chiusura (avevamo provato a chiamare per avvisare, senza successo), ci hanno fatto accomodare e serviti con grande professionalità e gentilezza. Buona qualità delle materie prime e ottimi piatti, tutti e quattro noi commensali eravamo soddisfatti e sazi al termine del pranzo. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato!

24/05/2025: The menu (also in English) is quite varied. The prices are okay, not very expensive. The food is good. We ate steak, pasta, salad and fries. The homemade tiramisu is of great class.
The restaurant is somewhat tucked away and is not very cozy on the inside, but is definitely worth a visit.

23/06/2025: We were very disappointed. Everything was very poorly done. The bruschetta was tasteless and oily. The pasta was mushy and resembled bad cheese spaetzle. The restrooms don't even have toilet seats. The prices are rather low, but so is the quality.

08/06/2025: All the dishes are wellcooked. The green beans, with tomato and olive oil, were a delightful surprise. The thick pasta had a satisfying bite and was cooked with flavorful tomato sauce.
05/06/2025: Happened upon this cute trattoria as it had something my teenage sons would eat! To my surprise the taglierini al ragu bianco d’antra (duck ragu) was AMAZING.

Il luogo é stupendo, vista incantevole così come il tramonto . Il cibo ottimo ed il prezzo interessante.
La mise en place raffinata e se si ha freddo viene offerta una coperta .
Lo consiglio vivamente .

14/06/2025: We took this recommendation from our Airbnb host, who is a local and booked our reservation for us, so we had no idea what to expect as we had not even researched the name. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the ambiance is absolutely stunning. It looks as though it is straight out of Architectural Digest. The staff are so thoughtful and caring. Sommelier paired the perfect wine with our meal. Quite literally the best beef tartare I have had in my entire life. Also had the mixed grilled pork which was phenomenal. This place is a gem. We are so lucky to have received this recommendation and will be certain to share with all of our friends overseas.
12/06/2025: A wonderful ambience, very good food and, of course, excellent regional wines, as well as very attentive and friendly staff, round off a perfectly successful dinner with the family.

Attention also to vegetarian customers with a separate menu.
The attention of the customer is great and the view of the greenery is phenomenal.

24/05/2025: This was such a charming part of our trip to pienza! The owners were incredibly nice and helpful in so many ways! The beds were comfortable and omg I think it’s the best terrace view of the whole city. Just loved it 🫶

20/05/2025: In visita culturale a Pienza con Gruppo il Lions Club Soncino, abbiamo prenotato per tempo per 28 persone, ci è stata allestita una sala praticamente solo per noi, siamo stati accolti con il sorriso da parte di tutto il personale, simpaticissimi ed efficienti - predisposta tavolata a ferro di cavallo molto conviviale.
Il Menù è stato concordato per un pranzo Light, in realtà pur avendo optato per una solo portata di carne "Tagliata di manzo ai 4 pepi con verdure grigliate" che ci è stata servita in dosi abbondanti con più passaggi, personalizzandola alle richieste di chi desiderava la stessa con o senza il pepe, chi l'ha preferita ben cotta piuttosto che al sangue.... insomma non ci sono stati problemi, sono stati carinissimi ed hanno esaudito tutte le richieste.
Si è proseguito con il dolce Crostata con marmellata fatta in casa, davvero buona.
Nota bene avevamo nel gruppo degli intolleranti ad alcuni alimenti ed una celiaca ed ed andato tutto bene senza alcun disturbo alimentare nei giorni a seguire.
Tutti soddisfatti , consigliamo vivamente il Ristorante La piazzetta.

04/05/2025: Spiace non confermare altre recensioni, non è da me. Entrati perché unico posto quella sera che aveva un tavolo libero, quindi un po’ forzatamente. Ok i crostini, indecifrabili i pici. Servizio così così. Non un bel ricordo.

In the heart of Val d’Orcia, one of my favorite places! Excellent food, I recommend the pici, the meat and especially the selection of pecorino cheeses! The added value is certainly the family atmosphere that you breathe.
Worth a try, different from the usual tourist-catching places ;)
