08/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience, the place is very welcoming and truly charming; the only flaw is the acoustics, which aren't exactly optimal. The staff is extremely friendly. The dishes are excellent, especially the first courses (the tagliatelle verdi are definitely worth mentioning, truly exquisite and delicate), but the second courses are also truly excellent. I highly recommend them, especially for their location, an exceptional village in the Val d'Orcia that's definitely worth a visit: Monticchiello.
06/12/2025: The service is excellent, as Daniele is a truly friendly, qualified, and very helpful person. The food is of an excellent standard, with dishes prepared with attention to the smallest details, and there is a wide selection of wines.

30/09/2025: Restaurant right on the edge of Pienza's historic center, with ample metered parking.
It has a spacious indoor dining room and a lovely terrace.
The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!
31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro.
Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.

05/11/2025: Great experience! Super fast service even when the place was full, and delicious food. We had pappardelle with wild boar ragù and a selection of pecorino cheeses with pears and a sauce. The vegetable of the day: chicory, was our side dish. Everything was excellent! We didn't need to book, and they seated us right away. The waiter was very kind. :)

Il luogo é stupendo, vista incantevole così come il tramonto . Il cibo ottimo ed il prezzo interessante.
La mise en place raffinata e se si ha freddo viene offerta una coperta .
Lo consiglio vivamente .

11/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, perfect dishes, well decorated and really very good, I recommend the Pici with truffle, the only thing that in my opinion for such a beautiful place, I would have the waiters all dressed decently in the same uniform, for the rest nothing to say, impeccable I highly recommend!
10/11/2025: The food was really delicious! The pasta was very good, and the baked potatoes were delicious too. I loved the atmosphere—it was really beautiful and welcoming, a really nice place to be.
My only disappointment was the slow service: we had to wait about 30 minutes for two entrees.
Otherwise, it was a super positive experience, and I'll definitely be back!

12/07/2025: Siamo stati nuovamente in questo piccolo locale. Che dire, tutto veramente buono. Dagli antipasti, ai primi, ai secondi e ai dolci. Tutto veramente incredibile. Pici con pomodori e guanciale veramente ottimi. Guancia come un burro, si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca. Nn c'era bisogno di masticarla. Dolci meravigliosi. Tutto accompagnato da ottimo vino di Montepulciano. Personale e proprietario molto simpatici e attenti. Prezzi giusti per la qualità e la quantità servita. Locale super consigliato in una delle piazze più caratteristiche di Pienza. Complimenti a tutti. Ci torneremo molto presto.
01/07/2025: Restaurante muy agradable, el camarero habla excelente inglés y explica bien los platos.
Iba a elegir la carne de cerdo, pero como mencionó que era un corte graso del cuello cambié de opinión ya que mi condición médica significa que no digiero la grasa fácilmente y termino en una cantidad increíble de dolor si lo como. Después de tantos años, ni siquiera me gusta el sabor pero eso es secundario y no siento la necesidad de explicar.
Estoy agradecido por la información adicional, pero fue un gran salto para él volver los ojos y asumir que querría el filete bien hecho. No, medio raro está bien, simplemente no puedo arriesgarme a comer carne grasa pero me sentí juzgado.

03/12/2025: It wasn't a pleasant experience. The waiters were extremely kind and professional, the food was decent but the portions were overpriced and overly generous. But the thing that bothered us most was the sommelier, who, casually, offered us two bottles of Morellino. I only found out they cost ninety euros because I asked, otherwise I would have found a surprise on the bill. I asked him to bring us a bottle at a much lower price, and he returned with a sixty-euro bottle, which I accepted only because I didn't want to make another fuss and embarrass the person I was dining with. Afterward, clearly annoyed by our choice because he earned less, he behaved in a snobbish and subtly arrogant manner throughout the evening. When we said goodbye as we left the restaurant, he only gave us a half-hearted hello without even looking up. If it had been my restaurant and I had seen something like that happen, I would have fired him on the spot. I won't be returning.

20/05/2025: In visita culturale a Pienza con Gruppo il Lions Club Soncino, abbiamo prenotato per tempo per 28 persone, ci è stata allestita una sala praticamente solo per noi, siamo stati accolti con il sorriso da parte di tutto il personale, simpaticissimi ed efficienti - predisposta tavolata a ferro di cavallo molto conviviale.
Il Menù è stato concordato per un pranzo Light, in realtà pur avendo optato per una solo portata di carne "Tagliata di manzo ai 4 pepi con verdure grigliate" che ci è stata servita in dosi abbondanti con più passaggi, personalizzandola alle richieste di chi desiderava la stessa con o senza il pepe, chi l'ha preferita ben cotta piuttosto che al sangue.... insomma non ci sono stati problemi, sono stati carinissimi ed hanno esaudito tutte le richieste.
Si è proseguito con il dolce Crostata con marmellata fatta in casa, davvero buona.
Nota bene avevamo nel gruppo degli intolleranti ad alcuni alimenti ed una celiaca ed ed andato tutto bene senza alcun disturbo alimentare nei giorni a seguire.
Tutti soddisfatti , consigliamo vivamente il Ristorante La piazzetta.

15/07/2025: Vi fik anbefalet Pienza som udflugtmål. Vi kørte dertil og vi blev ikke skuffet. Super smuk og hyggelig sted og sikke en udsigt. Vi fandt denne lille restaurant og vi blev enig om at her skulle frokosten indtages, der var skygge. Vi valgte to forskellige traditionelle retter, begge vældig gode og velsmagende. Vi valgte en flaske hvidvin til, der var et godt udvalg af vine. Tjeneren denne eftermiddag var meget kompetent og tilstede.
12/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui due sere e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Dagli antipasti ai pici. Tutto squisito. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.
