19/08/2024: We went there about an hour before closing and they seemed fine with it. After we were showed to some table they completely ignored us for 10-15 minutes and we decided to leave. I understand that they were closing soon, but they could’ve just tell us and not waste our time.

01/06/2025: Servicio súper amable. Increíble ubicación. Comida increíble. Increíble vino local. Y como ventaja para mí, ¡un par de súper gatos deambulaban por ahí!

21/05/2025: Un’esperienza autentica e indimenticabile nel cuore della Toscana! Il ristorante è una vera perla: l’atmosfera è calda e accogliente, perfetta per sentirsi subito a casa. La cucina è semplicemente eccellente: piatti tipici toscani preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e grande cura. Dai primi piatti fatti in casa alla carne squisita, ogni portata è un’esplosione di sapori genuini. Un plauso speciale va a Stefano, la cui gentilezza e disponibilità hanno reso la nostra serata ancora più piacevole. Sempre presente con il sorriso, attento a ogni dettaglio, è il vero cuore pulsante del locale. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca buon cibo, accoglienza sincera e un angolo di Toscana da vivere con tutti i sensi.

28/12/2023: We stopped by chance in this little restaurant, a group of 8 people and we were all very satisfied, both for the welcome and for the food, excellent gnocchi all'ortica with ragù di cortile... very good quality-price... I recommend everyone to try it!!!

12/12/2023: Comfortable environment that makes you feel at home. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The dishes are made as they once were and the off-menu second course, stew with potatoes, takes you back to the old flavors of the past. Compliments

04/10/2023: This restaurant experience was our favorite in Tuscany. It’s a small family-run gem up in the hills of a tiny historic village called Mensano. You feel like you discovered it once you get there. It’s comfortable and not over adorned. Beautiful in its simplicity. The service was kind and efficient. The wine was the “house” and it was perfect and elegant, not expensive. The food was the ultimate highlight. So so so delicious - the hearty Tuscan vegetable or tomato soups we so good! I’m sure because of the quality of the ingredients. And the braised wild boar dissolved in my mouth. Clearly made with love by the dear woman and her brother who own it. I felt all my troubles dissolve as we enjoyed our dinner here, having a great conversation with the owner Roberto - in broken but understandable English- about his food, his family, his story. We left there full in our bellies and our hearts.

03/10/2023: Two nights in a small room with basic furnishings, very clean and overlooking the property's garden, well cared for and full of large trees. Buffet breakfast in a large and bright lounge, with delicious homemade cakes. There is a good quality restaurant, offering home-style Tuscan cuisine. An ideal solution for those looking for no-frills accommodation at an affordable price.

22/10/2024: Posto molto carino, ma attenzione non è quel rustico che ci si immagina vedendo le foto, è un rustico ricercato non solo nella location ma anche nella composizione dei piatti e ricerca dei sapori che vanno oltre la tradizione, c'è un tocco innovativo. i sapori sono super, le materie prime anche, c'è qualità e la qualità si paga quel tocco in più. per cui dipende da ciò che si cerca.

08/09/2024: Purtroppo non posso condividere le buone recensioni su questo locale . Una serata no per chi lavora ci sta ma la scorrettezza non la capisco. Menù con 4 cose. Vino della casa osceno. Porzioni risicate. Conto non in linea con quello che abbiamo consumato, comunicato a voce ,senza l'ombra di una ricevuta. Mai più.
