20/02/2026: On our way home from Taormina we stopped here because it had a high review points. And I tell you - it did not disappoint!! Wow, flavors were amazing. Service great, everything was top notch! Small restaurant with soul. Definitely would recommend! We were there with a small child - so sorry for the mess! ☺️ If we will be back to sicily one day we would definitely pick this place to eat. Unfortunately have no photos of food - because everything was so delicious that we forgot to take photos!

26/01/2026: It's located in a place with a great view. The interior is smaller than I expected. The food is clean. But that's about it! The espresso coffee served for dessert was left in a tiny plastic container. Disappointingly... You have to pay for water separately. It's not quite up to the level of perfection others give it.

06/03/2026: A very large group of us dined here in October before my son’s wedding in Sicily. What a fantastic experience!!! The atmosphere, the staff and the food were all amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting San Marco D’Alunzio.

13/11/2025: I was there for the first time in 2019 for Ferragosto, I returned this year on a Sunday in November and found the same atmosphere, quality, kindness, and professionalism as six years ago. Always a pleasure to return.

02/03/2026: I came across this place by searching online. As soon as I arrived, I was enchanted by the location, very refined and well-kept. The menu was very rich and delicious. But the really bad thing was the wait times. Finally, after a 45-minute wait, we managed to order.... Even the tables next to us were furious, as well as other people I met outside while I was smoking. After a loooooong wait, the appetizers arrived.... Really good. For the first courses, another, exhausting wait.... Ditto for the second courses.... And for the desserts. There were incidents of plates being mixed up, and things not ordered were delivered. Summary: The dinner was really good, the location really nice.... The service was terrible.... Very confused, back and forth with poor results.... Either the kitchen is lacking, or maybe they just need more waiters, I don't understand. My friends have crossed the place off, but I might try again next year to see if they've improved on this. Advice to the owner/manager.... Fix this fundamental factor, you can't have people sitting at the table from 8:45 PM until midnight for a dinner. Rating 5!!!

20/03/2026: We ate really well the fish was very good we only ate the fish and it was a nice experience the sorbet was good the orange drinks are really good while the environment was really nice and then with the pellet stove it was the perfect touch a nice rustic environment is beautiful

The restaurant is split into two either side of a terrace, one side is more "bistro" compared to the other side a bit more formal, however when we were here (off season) both served an identical menu. Fabulous food, great service, lovely wine ... what's more to want?

07/01/2026: Not the experience I expected. Quite unwelcoming waitress. Thought she was mad at something. Tasteless Bread. Caponata was okay, but Spaghetti with Bluefin Tuna Caviar smelled really fish, felt it's from rotten fish. Cod with mashed potatoes were just plain, mediocre at best. When I asked about a few other menu like cuttlefish salad, she simply said it's a summer menu. In January, thir menu indeed are quite limited. The worst experience I had in Sicily
