05/04/2024: Whenever I feel like eating cibo Romano, this is where I go, specially when I have visitors because I know I will not disappoint. Carciofi alla romana or alla giudia, pasta alla scoglio or risotto alla scampi and rombo plus their home made tiramisu or available desserts with matching limoncello are perfect and the price are for local which means not over kill plus they are all very friendly and easy to talk to.

03/04/2024: Very pleasant restaurant at a busy touristy area. I went with my family of four adults and one baby and we had a wonderful meal. The staff was kind and helpful to suggest some dishes. We went with the truffled carbonara, ravioli and some pasta with lamb ragu. Everything was delicious. Worth a try!

Typical, quality dishes (the best carbonara in Rome!). I was with my parents and we spent a wonderful evening, we had fun and were with family, also because the owners introduced us to their family, who was having dinner there, and Fabio was spectacular with me and mine! In an area of ​​tourist restaurants, an oasis of Roman authenticity. Top. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

09/05/2024: Overall, good. We had one starter (rice fried croquet), two mains (fettuccine al ragu and rigatoni a la carbonara) and one second (pollo a la romana). All dishes were quite tasty...except for the carbonara. While the flavour was good, it was way too much salty, probably because of the large amount of cheese (pecorino romano, I suppose) added to create the sauce. Maybe the locals are used to this level of saltiness, but it was hardly eatable for me. Adding less cheese would make it more eatable for people not use to it, I believe. Therefore, I reduce 1 star. Still, the other plates were tasty and the service good.

11/05/2024: Very good carbonara with truffle, they gave us an appetizer courtesy of the house and in addition to the pasta that we had ordered, some tasting plates of the pasta that we had each ordered so that we could all try each other's, we thought that the treatment It was exquisite. It may not be the cheapest carbonara in Rome, but it is good and the terrace and staff are pleasant. To put it another way, they told us that we couldn't pay in cash because they didn't have change.

07/05/2024: Best restaurant in Rome. No words needed for foods and service was exceptional with reasonable price. I recommend tasting menu. Ceviche and salmon was so good and clam pasta and beef steak was so bomb☺️ Wine recommendation was so good as well. It was a little difficult because there was a slight uphill climb, but I fell in love with the delicious food and wine atmosphere. 💓 This is a restaurant I will definitely come back to if I come back to Rome. Especially on the tasting menu!!!!!! Ceviche, salmon, clam pasta, and oh-so-soft steak 😭🥹 It was a happy two and a half hours!!!! I think you can get it at a more reasonable price if you order from the individual menu! However, the tasting menu is also highly recommended!!!

10/05/2024: Excellent food and good service. Not that I would expect anything less, but the balsamic vinegar here was outstanding. The pasta tasted fresh, and the sauces were delicious. Portions were quite large.

09/05/2024: We went here as it was convenient to some sighseeing our guests were doing around Piazza Navona and just chose it based on Google reviews. What a great find! The food was excellent as was the service and the lovely setting. I've lived in Rome for the past 3 years and know to generally stay away from the lasgna (frozen most of the time) unless it specifies made in house which this did and it did not disappoint! In our group one had the meatballs and roasted potatoes and the other the handmade ravioli stuffed w/ ricotta and spinach, all excellent as were the starters of caprese salad and prosciutto and melon. The prices are in line with what you find right in the historic center (so a few more euros per plate than if you were not in the centro) but totally worth it considering the location. Our waiter was great, menus available in English too. Oh, and I made the reservation online which I love. We were there for lunch on a Wednesday in early May so it turned out we didn't need them but I like to err on the side of having them anyway instead of waiting or wandering around. Highly recommend!
