Onesti nel prezzo e antipasti primi e secondi di buonissima qualità e cucinato ttt con attenzione. Lo consiglio e io personalmente ci tornerò sicuramente.

02/03/2025: In Trani to train, in Trani to taste. The place was recommended to us by a friend on a diet, who does not give up good food, when invited. At the end of the commitments, the direction was now decided. The city center was the destination. When we arrived at Taverna Portanova, we had some slight difficulty in finding parking. The location has walls of living stone and a wooden ceiling. On the back wall a reproduction of the ancient city of Trani which overall gives the impression of entering a place from another time. Welcomed and seated we asked for more information on what was reported on the menu. Reading had tickled us the idea of ​​Paella, but it would have been better to warn in advance. The preparation times of the paella are not suitable for those with limited time. We opted for a mixed antipasto "Portanova". Catalan-style shrimp, sautéed octopus salad with potatoes, fried calamari, mozzarella and ricotta bites, tuna tartare with caper cucunci, white parmigiana with freshly grilled aubergines, not classically fried. Accompanying the dish was the inevitable bread basket. Delicious! For starters, we enjoyed troccoli allo scoglio and cavatelli with monkfish, rocket and cherry tomatoes. Accustomed to sharing a tasting, this one was a cut above my taste buds. A great experience, definitely recommended.
