Colline Emiliane
Roma
07/03/2026: I’m happy that I found tortellini en brodo in Rome for my last night and I’m also happy with the tiramisu and tagliatelle.
Make sure to get reservations! They were turning people away at the door.
05/03/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance. What a treat! Everything is fresh and delicious.

La Locanda
Roma
09/01/2026: Traditional, excellent food. Fair prices and quick, friendly service. An osteria from another era.
30/12/2025: Traditional-style restaurant, very welcoming: as soon as you enter, you immediately feel a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The dishes are prepared with great care, and the starters, in particular, were truly exceptional.
We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Dal Bolognese
Roma
10/02/2026: It is a vey nice classic style restaurant in a perfect location, Piazza del Popolo, where for ages people have regularly come to see and be seen. It is popular with the Roman high society, actors and artists, as well as lots of tourists. One would imagine that the appealing traditional menu offered here would guarantee a fantastic meal but sadly the food is mostly not up to what one would expect. In all sincerity it has never failed to disappoint me over the last 30 years! Even so one keeps coming back for the Dolce Vita atmosphere, it's true forte.....last night Al Pacino was eating dinner with his entourage in the corner table where stars usually eat.....
08/02/2026: Sunday lunch to celebrate a dear friend, so we decided to book a table at one of the restaurants that has shaped the history of the city and its downtown area for a lifetime. I believe the management has changed hands for a while now. We booked for 1:00 PM, and the reserved table was already ready in the center of the main dining room. Despite the restaurant being already full, a lady welcomed us in the small entrance with a warm smile and invited us to leave our jackets in their always-staffed cloakroom. The classic yet welcoming and clean restaurant, due to space constraints, has tables that aren't particularly large, but are functional and well-manned by expert waiters who quickly and courteously accommodate the many guests. Let's get to the main attraction: the menu, featuring many classic Emilian dishes, but also Roman classics and the freshest fish!
The wine list is excellent, ranging from house wines to internationally renowned wineries. We tried the dry tortellini, salt-baked sea bass, and boiled meat. First, artichokes and anchovies with vegetables and baked potatoes. Everything was very well prepared with high-quality ingredients. Personally, I only found the artichokes to be undercooked, but they were well-seasoned and fresh, like everything else. To finish, a surprise cake for our friend was served, along with coffee and biscotti. On Sundays, it's very popular with locals, as well as tourists visiting Rome. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the bathrooms are well-kept and spotlessly clean. Congratulations!
