Colline Emiliane
Roma
06/12/2025: Excellent, well-prepared dishes, made with exceptionally fresh and high-quality ingredients, served with professionalism and courtesy. The only drawback is the small size of the space, which also prevents even the slightest bit of privacy for customers. We'll definitely be back.
05/12/2025: The lasagna was very good and the caramel walnut tart was absolutely delicious with its scoop of homemade ice cream.

La Gnoccheria
Roma
06/11/2025: Refined cuisine and generous portions, excellent service, a neat and clean location with tables very close together, making conversation a bit difficult.
Quality comes at a price, and prices are necessarily quite above average.
12/10/2025: Generally, the food was good, but this time we found the first courses' portions too small, and the cheeks were unfortunately very salty in all the portions we ordered. The desserts were average for a medium-high bill. I'd suggest paying more attention to the menu and varying the second courses as well.

La Locanda
Roma
27/11/2025: Seeing this place with so few customers makes me feel incredibly sad, because there's no reason why it should be this way, except that today, curiosity for the new and untried weighs more heavily than the ability to replicate traditional flavors intact. If you have a grandmother from Emilia, or have always wanted to, come to the Locanda and let your taste buds be pampered. And don't worry, it won't cost you a fortune. Lastly: don't miss the Portuguese Milk; I think it's so good it's almost tear-jerking good.
26/10/2025: Disappointing.
The culatello was sliced very thickly. I asked if it could be sliced thinner, as per good Emilian tradition, but it wasn't possible. I didn't find it very kind or welcoming.

Dal Bolognese
Roma
10/12/2025: We had an inpromptu late lunch here, a delicious chateaubriand. Then the best Tiramisu in Rome.
The Chef asked for our thoughts afterwards.
Subtle , classic Italian atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
02/12/2025: I went to this restaurant because it was close to my accommodation. Most of the diners were locals, and we had Bolognese and seafood pasta for lunch. The recommended wine paired well with the dish, and the tiramisu for dessert was delicious. It's a bit pricey, but restaurants with a touristy view in Rome are generally priced accordingly. Still, it's worth a visit to try the Bolognese at least once. It's not overly spicy, but the flavor is exquisite.
