07/04/2024: Fixed stop during our stays in Praia a mare. Lunch or dinner, the service is always friendly and impeccable and the food excellent. Traditional Calabrian cuisine and top quality local products. The view over the valley is a plus during lunch. Highly recommended.
01/04/2024: We have been going to this restaurant for more than ten years and it is always a certainty.
Excellent quality of the dishes and impeccable courtesy of the staff.
I recommend everyone to eat homemade lagane with chickpeas!! The ricotta is spectacular...what can I say, try it you will be thrilled!!

27/01/2024: Good food, the flaw is that with fixed menus you necessarily have to like even what you don't want, but it's probably a choice of quality of the cooked products.
Too dim lights, good service, assortment of wines, Russo & Longo cellar, overall comfortable environment.

05/04/2024: Quiet place, good restaurant, but the highlight was the quality of the homemade food, from the starter to the dessert, all very good, very generous portions and reasonable prices, highly recommended.
01/04/2024: My partner and I spent Easter Sunday here. Even though the place was packed, we waited very little to get a table, they served in excellent time and the quality of the food was AMAZING!!! They really made sure it was an unforgettable Easter Sunday.
Everyone was kind and courteous, a beautiful and welcoming family. Thank you for demonstrating and reminding us what it's like to have lunch in a place where you work with passion. 🤗

If you come to Cosenza you can't help but come and eat at the professor's!

11/05/2024: Restaurant at the entrance to Civita in an excellent location. Cozy restaurant with fast and friendly staff. The appetizer was excellent with a platter of cheeses, cold cuts, olives and dried tomatoes in oil and exceptional pancakes! Handmade macaroni with underwire, seasoned with a very good wild boar meat sauce. Very clean restrooms. Adequate prices. Advise.

L'accoglienza amichevole di Salvatore e il buon cibo della tradizione calabrese, rendono il locale il luogo ideale dove ritrovarsi in famiglia o con gli amici. La qualità non è mai venuta meno nel corso degli anni e questo dimostra l'attenzione al cliente e la professionalità nel gestire un'attività complessa.
Consiglio vivamente il Desiderio, sia per pranzi e cene che per una pizza tra amici.

24/03/2024: Once upon a time it was Il Carpaccio... always chosen for my occasions. But the last time I went, frankly it was disappointing...small portions, some dishes even forgotten, long waiting times...portions arrived cold and watered down (tagliolini with truffle and fusilli with goat sauce). The manager apologized by justifying the absence of staff, however from the point of view of the paying customer (also expensive) it is not conceivable... I'm sorry but I think I won't go back again.
17/03/2024: I returned to this restaurant after a few years. Unfortunately, with great regret I have to say that it is no longer as good as it once was. The starter, which was once worth the 25 km journey alone, has become very modest and for 20 euros is really poor. The potatoes are good but the service is really poor and very slow. Unfortunately I don't think I'll return again. I am sorry.

07/01/2024: Un pranzo davvero eccellente presso il ristorante della famiglia Barbieri che da anni si impegna a promuovere le tipicità della propria regione. Una carrellata di antipasti caldi, i funghi la fanno da padrona, un primo con pasta fatta in casa, agnello ai ferri con contorno e per concludere un dolce squisito con pasta frolla, crema e frutti freschi. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Ristorante ottimo ,cameriere simpatico e gentile,ha presentato i piatti e mi ha consigliato,eccellente la carta dei vini.
Camera ordinata,pulita e abbastanza grande.
Colazione abbondante .
Un bellissimo posto che non è facile dimenticare.

05/01/2024: A pranzo per una visita a Rossano, ci lasciamo invogliare dalla 5 posizione nei ristoranti del posto. Aspettative totalmente disattese, trattoria mediocre per eleganza e qualità, scarsa scelta e prezzi da locale in. Totalmente sconsigliato. Non ritorneremo mai più.
23/10/2023: Trattoria molto accogliente, con tanto legno e le tovaglie a quadretti rossi molto carine. Bagno pulitissimo (sono un po’ fissata…). Piatti della tradizione ben cucinati, pane fresco e buono. La prossima volta vorrei prendere l’antipasto che ho visto passare e mi ha ingolosito. Conto onestissimo. Il proprietario è molto gentile. Parcheggio di fronte. Consiglio!
