07/06/2025: The ideal place to recommend a typical Calabrian dinner in this area with a good quality/price ratio.
The strong point is the appetizers in quantity that satisfy every taste and palate. They fill you up so much that you can opt for just one subsequent course. A good local wine and a bitter completed our dinner. We spent 30 euros, not enough for a tourist, too much for someone staying for work.
02/06/2025: The food was tasty but we really didn't like the approach of the owner (I think) who pushed the set for us to take, despite knowing Italian there was a problem with communication because the set was pushed forcibly even though we wanted to order dishes from the daily menu, I do not advise against it and I do not recommend it, check it out for yourself.

27/06/2025: Very good food with Calabrian specialties. We highly recommend this restaurant.
25/06/2025: I had dinner with friends and we were all enthusiastic. We had mixed fish appetizers and the amazing fondue with Tropea onion followed by a dentex and red prawns cooked in salt. Very fresh fish, excellent raw materials, very friendly service. I hope to return!

30/06/2025: Excellent service, I didn't book but they found me a table in 10 minutes. Large seafood appetizer, large and tasty, just excellent. Excellent swordfish rolls, excellent red tuna. Fruity and tasty wine. I didn't have dessert, I was full. Fast and courteous service.
29/06/2025: Small quiet street. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is to die for. They are very pleasant and above all, they speak English😅 I recommend it.

26/06/2025: Review only for the restaurant. Typical and home-made products. Excellent and plentiful appetizers. Even with the other courses you are very satisfied. Be prepared to face many curves to reach it.

On sunny summer days, having lunch in the square can be a good idea.
Good food, well presented, top-notch wine cellar.
Capable and accommodating staff.
The special thing is that the dessert - the Pizzo truffle, which is the black one - is ordered at the (historic) bar in front!
02/06/2025: We ordered a Calabrian antipasto plate. To say it was disappointing is an understatement. Even the bread wasn't nice. We didn't eat much of it. Nothing on the platter was appetizing.

15/06/2025: Osteria Turioleddu is truly a very suggestive environment. We eat very good traditional Calabrian dishes, cooked like at home. To return.

06/06/2025: Despite the passing of the years, the quality and service remain impeccable. The trio of meats, the steak and the tagliatelle with ragù remain the house specialties, absolutely recommended. Many thanks also to dear Christian for the impeccable commitment he has shown. Always a pleasure to return!
01/06/2025: A trattoria where I found the excellence of peasant dishes from rich appetizers, homemade pasta with simple but tasty sauces and grilled meat was excellent butter even the grilled chicken .... the owner welcoming and helpful and the polite staff quick and organized at a frenetic pace because the place was packed but always very polite and kind .... the bill for the simplicity of the menu could seem high like the tagliatelle € 14 per portion but reflecting on the quality of the raw material and considering that these are homemade products so there is a significant labor work I am also satisfied with the bill and I wish this trattoria prosperity and endless work hoping to return soon 💙💪🏼

21/06/2025: Had a lovely time in Greece and an excellent lunch here. We had the ante pasta which was excellent giving us a flavour of the excellent local Calabrian meats and cheeses. We had beer and water and at the end they brought us some excellent almond wine with almond snacks to dip in. Excellent value at a set 18 euros including drinks. Definitely recommend.
03/06/2025: When I go to lunch at Emmanuela's I feel like I'm at my cousin's house, a very warm and family atmosphere without forgetting the cuisine which is of quality with always fresh products from her vegetable garden...a pure moment of happiness for our taste buds...thank you to the team at A SQUELLA..A PRESTO

12/05/2025: perfetto!! ho anzi abbiamo gradito e gustato tutto!! per l'esattezza non proprio tutto in quanto antipasto abbondante ed ottimo seguito da primi piatti davvero gustosi ed abbondanti ed a questo punto, secondi piatti non presi (sarà per la prossima volta sicuramente!!!); camerieri gentili e disponibili, complimenti a Luca lo chef!!!!

22/06/2025: Last night with my partner I had dinner in this restaurant at 8pm we had a mixed starter and also a meat grill for 2 people the cold starter wasn't bad but the hot one was frozen which arrived at 10pm terrible service from the owner at 12am I got the grill the ribs were burnt that not even my dog ate them the cold veal dry sausage dry skewer in a few words horrible I asked to wrap everything up and take it away so I could throw everything in the garbage 😱😱😱😱

12/06/2025: Ideal restaurant to escape the heat of Praia a Mare and really good. High quality products and km 0. We tried two dishes off the menu really delicious but I have no doubt that everything else is at the same level, given the attention and care of the owner and chef for more than thirty years Mr. Giacomo. I highly recommend trying this good and genuine cuisine.
04/06/2025: La Baita is simply superb! The food is exceptional (all local and home made), the atmosphere and the service are impeccable. Highly recommended!

08/09/2024: Location in the Drapia countryside, we ate at this place a few years ago and I was enthusiastic about it but I have to correct my review;
Abundant dishes but the quality of the food is poor and the prices are not typical of a "trattoria".
- courgette flower meatballs (the pumpkin was imperceptible and all greasy), just dough.
-good pasta! But everyone can make tomato fileja!
I spent 50 euros and left dissatisfied and still hungry. You tell me🤔

07/04/2025: Advertising is like lies, they have short legs... I have to say that I was very disappointed with everything, quality, price, 0000, a homemade starter paid €20 but it wasn't even worth €5 for the quality and proportion, all recycled and freshly heated stuff and terrible taste, not to mention the super salty and raw bread made with pizza dough, so I'll leave you to imagine what the pizza might be like. The stinging only had the name sninging. If I can give you some advice, change your job... you're born a restaurateur, you can't invent yourself on the spot
01/01/2025: Characteristic place, with attention to detail that creates atmosphere. Attentive, fast and unobtrusive service.
The menu offers mainly fish and typical dishes but there is also some meat on offer.
As an appetizer I chose the mixed tasting of raw and cooked. Excellent quality fresh fish.
