17/05/2026: A wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the service excellent. A big thank you to Cristiana for her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. She made our day even more enjoyable with her excellent service and smile. I highly recommend this restaurant.

24/04/2026: We returned with my family because we had an excellent culinary experience, and they never disappoint. A must-visit very close to the Sanctuary of Natuzza Evolo. Everything was delicious. The owner, a welcoming and very kind gentleman, is one of the few who still manages to preserve typical Calabrian dishes and traditions. The appetizer was plentiful, and the homemade fileja was truly spectacular. The appetizer and main course were accompanied by plenty of wine and bread, all excellent ingredients, and the price was fair at less than €30 per person. We'll be returning often.

08/09/2025: I happened to visit and it turned out to be a restaurant that had been renovated from a church!! The atmosphere was really great! I ordered Neapolitan pizza, and it was the best pizza I had during my trip to Italy! When I visited, I suddenly wanted to eat Aglio Olio, but it wasn't on the menu. So I asked just in case, and they said it wasn't difficult and made it for me! I recharged after a tiring evening of traveling with delicious food and a great atmosphere! gràzie!

08/07/2026: Gorgeous place, excellent food, and great service. I recommend ordering à la carte because the menu is hard to go beyond the very large (but delicious) appetizer. The photo shows only a portion of the appetizer.

15/05/2026: A great restaurant in Tropea Old Town, especially known for their steaks. I had the Grilled Tournedos from Beef with truffle and sides, amazing! Nice atmosphere in an alley and perfect service. We really recommend a visit.

25/01/2026: Frankly, I don't understand all the reviews raving about this place...maybe I'm on the wrong day! I had lunch on a Sunday in January. I was in the Bagnara area, and, drawn by the reviews, I decided to book a table for four for 1 pm for my family. The woman I'm talking to kindly told me yes, but that they open at 12 pm, implying I could also come earlier. We went anyway at 1 pm sharp, and strangely, it was closed! Not being local, I started to suspect I'd made the wrong place, so I called and they told me they were about to open right then: thank goodness I hadn't come earlier! The atmosphere was nice, the staff friendly. We ordered a marinated anchovy appetizer, which was good but nothing special. The first courses, three different ones, had cooking issues. Not only were they not al dente, but the pasta was clearly overcooked, and three out of three of them weren't simply a mistake! The second courses were good, but again, nothing exceptional. The desserts (apple pie) were below expectations, considering I'd read reviews that described them as the best desserts I'd ever tried... who knows! Paying €20 for two slices of soggy cake that looked like it had been made by a novice leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, even more so than the dessert itself. The bottle of wine we chose was good, as were the glasses of sparkling wine we ordered to accompany the desserts, since I was celebrating my 50th birthday. For this very reason, I expected at least a complimentary coffee, but that didn't happen! The price was high, but it was reasonable for what we ordered and there were no surprises compared to the menu.

04/07/2026: This restaurant should be called "Trattoria dei Poeti del Buon Cibo." There are poets of words and there are poets of cuisine. Silvana, the owner and chef of the trattoria, is certainly one of the latter. Her dishes reflect the authentic flavors of yesteryear, prepared with passion and respect for tradition. Here you won't find "revisited," "modern," or "contaminated" cuisine, but authentic local recipes, made as they once were. During my stay in Rocca Imperiale, I couldn't find a place that better represented the local cuisine. Each dish is authentic, rich in flavor, and prepared with great care. If you're looking for true traditional cuisine, this is the place. For me, it was a wonderful discovery: a true poem for the palate.

07/07/2026: Chance brought us to this place, just to get a bottle of water, and we were literally overwhelmed by Mariachiara's enthusiasm and kindness. ❤️ So, after showing us everything Kamastra had to offer, we decided to return for dinner and the next day to buy Piretto liqueur. The restaurant is charming, the rest of the staff is kind and welcoming, and the food is delicious. Highly recommended.

18/07/2026: First time there. The owner (who is also the chef) is kind, smiling, and warm. Camilla, a young waitress, is very nice and polite, probably shy and excited, but kind. The place is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery; the only drawback is that there's no parking nearby. The dishes are homemade and very good. They also sell a flavored organic olive oil that I really liked.

03/07/2026: We ate the excellent local cured meats and the famous prosciutto. Grilled cheese wrapped in pancetta, eggplant meatballs, accompanied by grilled zucchini and excellent lightly smoked ricotta. Everything was truly exceptional!! Homemade tagliatelle with cod, superb! As for the homemade desserts, made to order: ricotta-filled pastries with cinnamon and lemon, and the crescent with dark chocolate and orange, truly superb. Ciro's white wine. Just rereading it makes my mouth water. Thanks to Giacomo the chef and the very sweet Camilla who served us impeccably.

09/05/2026: Friendly staff, decent food. Unfortunately, the pasta dishes are very small and not nearly filling. The restaurant is clean. A major problem is the uneven floor with loose pieces of flooring.

11/04/2026: Il Carpaccio restaurant is a must-visit. The hot and cold appetizer is simply spectacular: quality Calabrian cured meats, exceptional meatballs, pickles, mushrooms, and countless other specialties. An explosion of authentic flavors, generous and carefully prepared: worth the dinner alone. The first courses are delicious.
