30/12/2024: fter a wonderful day in Tropea with a walk around the city and long swims on the beach, we came across La Lamia in the evening around 10pm. After a short wait, a table was set for us and we sat at a tasteful table in an almost idyllic setting. For us Berliners, the way we imagine and desire Italy, but it has never been like this in Berlin and Germany. The order was taken quickly. Due to their hunger, both children took the main course along with their parents' starter. Everything was served quickly and very professionally, corresponding requests were immediately taken into account and fulfilled. The food itself was very good overall. Beef fillet with rocket and medium fried cherry tomatoes, spaghetti with red prawns and black truffle, pasta filled with mozzarella and grilled sausage with Tropea salad. The steak was exactly as expected, the truffle pasta was fantastic, even with mozzarella, and the sausage was unexpectedly served differently and tasted great. Only the Tropea salad was a little weak, but this is a very high level problem. We really enjoyed ourselves this evening and really good food and great service. Finally Italian cuisine according to our ideas... thank you very much! And not a comment at the end: Rarely have we had the feeling that price and performance go so well together!!! 

25/03/2025: The finest wine I've ever had! The pasta is also perfect! Tiramisu exactly how I like it. The staff is very polite and approachable. If I wanted to, I couldn't find a complaint. :)

02/02/2025: Locale accogliente, pulito, zona parcheggio per i clienti. Personale attento, veloce e sorridente. Cibo ottimo ed abbondante tanto da fermarci dopo l antipasto ed il primo. Allego foto. Consiglio a tutti.

It's impossible to choose what you eat because the chef does everything depending on seasonal products and availability. Nice experience and well done Francesco. Ad maiora

15/09/2024: Tappa obbligatoria quando torniamo a San Nicola Arcella …location esterna davvero accogliente gazebo in muratura e prato davvero tenuto bene il tutto ben illuminato,sempre all’esterno c’è un grande barbecue in muratura dove vengono cucinati i secondi alla brace. Abbiamo preso per primo le tagliatelle alla quercia davvero buonissime per secondo un buonissimo tris di carne cucinato alla perfezione.. Prezzi un po’ sopra la norma per la zona .

02/03/2025: Pleasant discovery! Delicious dishes with excellent raw materials. Generous portions! Our choice of homemade pasta was excellent. My husband, being a vegetarian, still had lunch tasting excellent ricotta and vegetables, beans in the starter and the excellent pasta with mushrooms. Pasta with Eggplant 🍆 really delicious! 😋 The service was really kind, attentive and welcoming. The ingredients were explained to me and I appreciated the kindness of the waitress in the room. The room is very rustic but very tidy, clean and welcoming. I liked everything and I had a chat with the lady at the cash desk (payment by debit card was accepted) and they offered us Zibibbo and biscuits ☺️ I will return to Gerace especially to have lunch here! 02/02/2025: We tried the 5-course tasting menu (raw starter, cooked starter, first course, second course and dessert), €50 drinks and cover charge excluded. The dishes are chosen by the chef and constantly change based on the availability of the catch of the day. Undoubtedly fresh fish cooked to perfection. Excellent grouper tartare, exceptional seared tuna, delicious decomposed cannoli. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Small but well-kept place. Advised.

01/02/2025: I liked the 5-course tasting menu even if some dishes lacked character (very modest opinion), the first was slightly salty, while for the second I found that the fish served was a little overcooked. Intimate venue and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I would go back to try more from the menu 🙃

26/02/2025: Antonio serves amazing traditional Badolatese tipico in the superiore. Always fresh and prepared perfectly, a do not miss! The atmosphere is an old world experience that is very special and delightful.
