13/01/2024: A pochi passi dal mare, ed altrettanto dalle montagne presilane, il ristorante san lorenzo e' una piacevolissima scoperta dove il gusto, la qualita' e la tradizione, offrono ai clienti un sublime momento di relax gastronomico ad alti livelli. Avvolto in una piacevolissima sinfonia di piante e natura, arredato con gran gusto ed ogni cosa al posto giusto, veniamo accolti con sorriso da katia e mirko i camerieri, dotati di grande empatia e professionalita'. Altrettanto lo sara' il proprietario michele, personaggio carismatico e simpatico, padrone di casa pronto a coccolare ogni suo cliente. In quanto ai piatti, che dire; si vede lontano un miglio che le materie prime utilizzate per la loro realizzazione, sono di qualita' assoluta, cosi' come la guarnitura e la presentazione delle portate che ricalcano in modo eccelso l'esser "saporiti" dei piatti mediterranei e calabresi in particolare . Dulcis in fundo, gustosissimo dessert condito da amaro rigorosamente di calabria, offerto dalla casa. Locale che merita tantissimo, cui torneremo di sicuro, e consiglieremo con entusiasmo e sicurezza

Upon entering, we were immediately welcomed by the hospitable ambiance and friendly smiles of the staff. The restaurant's decor exuded a rustic elegance, which added to the overall experience. As for the food, we were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and tasteful preparation of the dishes. Every dish we tried, from the traditional Albanian specialties to the classic Italian dishes, was infused with flavor and craftsmanship. 19/03/2024: Since I was a girl, DonGio' has been synonymous with very honest, good food in a place that becomes family if you only go back for the third time! Everything really works well for an evening that can go from informative to formal! Yet another excellent testimony to what can truly be defined as a family tradition!

29/03/2024: If the owner is called the professor, there will be a reason, and this reason is that the professor of the Cosenza winery offers in his kitchen a purely typical menu of Cosenza cuisine, with a very high level quality of the products offered at the table, a very refined place at the foot of old Cosenza. If you come to Cosenza you can't help but come and eat at the professor's!

24/02/2024: Local in the center of the beautiful town of Palmi. Original, tasty and well presented dishes. First of all, as soon as you are seated, they take care of taking your coats and offer the opportunity of a bag rest. Then follows the table service with the arrangement of the ordered dishes without anyone coming to give the master's lecture on "quantum mechanics on the reduction of fish broth in low-mineral water distilled and aged in Aspromonte oak barrels". Finally a place where the talented chef doesn't need to feel like a Cracco! I highly recommend it: your palate will thank you!

Locale aperto anche ai giovani, desiderosi di gustare una cucina che con ingredienti tradizionali riesce ancora a stupire. La cantina…è pure giovane…

Then the room develops into different areas with the presence of stairs. The menu offers various possibilities with good quality food. The problem as usual is finding a parking space.

L'accoglienza amichevole di Salvatore e il buon cibo della tradizione calabrese, rendono il locale il luogo ideale dove ritrovarsi in famiglia o con gli amici. La qualità non è mai venuta meno nel corso degli anni e questo dimostra l'attenzione al cliente e la professionalità nel gestire un'attività complessa. Consiglio vivamente il Desiderio, sia per pranzi e cene che per una pizza tra amici.

14/03/2024: Orecchiette with broccoli mousse and dried tomatoes to give crunchiness is a reinterpretation of the orecchiette with turnip greens and crusco pepper, the dish is very balanced even if I didn't notice much broccoli. An error in the delivery of the dishes was soon remedied. The scabbard fish pie is excellent. Cinnamon apple cake served with berry or chocolate sauce. I asked if there was also custard and, with great professionalism, they replied that they will immediately add it to their menu. What to say? Years of experience make themselves felt. In all senses.

02/04/2024: Stunning location in the Siderno countryside. We ate outdoors, helped by the pleasant day, under citrus trees, surrounded by nature, all very relaxing. Fixed menu based on the local products found, so everything is very fresh and genuine. As an appetizer, various cured meats and cheeses, while the ricotta is still warm! Crispy and dry aubergine, potato and pumpkin meatballs. As a first course, macaroni with super tasty cherry tomatoes, very simple but delicious! As a second course, meat stew, well cooked but I must say that the portion was a little small, 2/3 small pieces each with bone... side dish not received... but would have been appreciated. The portions in my opinion need to be reviewed. For dessert, a kind of homemade creme brulee, I really liked it. I could have given more to the service given that the owner is very nice and friendly but some of the answers to our requests could have been formulated in a better way. Local wine but good. All €35 each, also considering the day of celebration I would say in line.

25/03/2024: Ristorante molto particolare ed eccellente. Piatti a km zero e frutto di una ricerca dei sapori ed ingredienti antichi. I piatti non vengono portati su ordinazione dei clienti, lo chef, sicuro che nessuna pietanza proposta tornerà indietro, porta a tavola i piatti preparati che sono vari, abbondanti ed tutti eccezionali. Abbiamo pagato 30 € a persona compreso il vino. In più lo chef ci ha allietato con canzoni e strumenti musicali, ovviamente ach'essi frutto di una ricerca di melodie e strumenti della tradizione popolare. Super consigliato

14/09/2023: Ambiente molto curato, atmosfera accogliente , musica di sottofondo adeguata, servizio impeccabile. Cibo ottimo , accostamenti inusuali che risultano armonici. Piatti presentati con cura nei dettagli e illustrati personalmente dallo chef Tony meriterebbe una stella Michelin.
