21/09/2025: Great place with friendly staff!

08/09/2025: I happened to visit and it turned out to be a restaurant that had been renovated from a church!! The atmosphere was really great! I ordered Neapolitan pizza, and it was the best pizza I had during my trip to Italy! When I visited, I suddenly wanted to eat Aglio Olio, but it wasn't on the menu. So I asked just in case, and they said it wasn't difficult and made it for me! I recharged after a tiring evening of traveling with delicious food and a great atmosphere! gràzie!

15/05/2026: A great restaurant in Tropea Old Town, especially known for their steaks. I had the Grilled Tournedos from Beef with truffle and sides, amazing! Nice atmosphere in an alley and perfect service. We really recommend a visit.

28/07/2026: A lovely restaurant nestled in the alleys of Tropea. Truly excellent food. We dined on a late Sunday evening, so it wasn't crowded and the service was very quick. The staff wasn't particularly welcoming, except for the two very kind waitresses.

22/03/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars for professionalism, hospitality, service, and high-quality food. A beautiful location immersed in the greenery of the Cropanesi countryside...ample parking. Typical and regional Calabrian cuisine, both meat and fish, along with fabulous pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Michele, the owner, and his very kind, welcoming, professional, and attentive staff. I highly recommend it...a beautiful place in our area 🥇🥇🔝🔝🤩🤩🫡🫡😎😎

10/03/2026: If you're looking for the authentic Calabria, the kind of genuine hospitality and bold flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. The culinary journey begins with a selection of house appetizers that, alone, are worth the entire dinner. It's not your typical run-of-the-mill selection: here, you can taste the quality of the ingredients... Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: Frankly, I don't understand all the reviews raving about this place...maybe I'm on the wrong day! I had lunch on a Sunday in January. I was in the Bagnara area, and, drawn by the reviews, I decided to book a table for four for 1 pm for my family. The woman I'm talking to kindly told me yes, but that they open at 12 pm, implying I could also come earlier. We went anyway at 1 pm sharp, and strangely, it was closed! Not being local, I started to suspect I'd made the wrong place, so I called and they told me they were about to open right then: thank goodness I hadn't come earlier! The atmosphere was nice, the staff friendly. We ordered a marinated anchovy appetizer, which was good but nothing special. The first courses, three different ones, had cooking issues. Not only were they not al dente, but the pasta was clearly overcooked, and three out of three of them weren't simply a mistake! The second courses were good, but again, nothing exceptional. The desserts (apple pie) were below expectations, considering I'd read reviews that described them as the best desserts I'd ever tried... who knows! Paying €20 for two slices of soggy cake that looked like it had been made by a novice leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, even more so than the dessert itself. The bottle of wine we chose was good, as were the glasses of sparkling wine we ordered to accompany the desserts, since I was celebrating my 50th birthday. For this very reason, I expected at least a complimentary coffee, but that didn't happen! The price was high, but it was reasonable for what we ordered and there were no surprises compared to the menu.

07/05/2026: Amazing views, very polite and friendly family run hotel. Nothing is to much trouble, nice clean rooms, great breakfast, on site bodega. They ran a free shuttle to a local restaurant with local music and owned and run by the same family, lovely evening out. Highly recommended.

10/01/2026: We chose this hotel restaurant again to celebrate my second daughter's graduation, after the wonderful experience we had two years ago. It felt like returning to a place that always knows how to make important moments special. The friendliness of the owners and staff, their professionalism, and their attention to detail make this place truly unique. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a heartfelt celebration; the organization was impeccable in every way. The cuisine deserves special mention: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and a perfect balance between flavor and presentation. Every course was appreciated by all the guests, a decisive factor in the success of the event. It's rare to find a venue capable of maintaining the same level of excellence over time: here, quality is a testament. A reference point for memorable occasions, which I recommend without hesitation.

18/07/2026: First time there. The owner (who is also the chef) is kind, smiling, and warm. Camilla, a young waitress, is very nice and polite, probably shy and excited, but kind. The place is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery; the only drawback is that there's no parking nearby. The dishes are homemade and very good. They also sell a flavored organic olive oil that I really liked.

03/07/2026: We ate the excellent local cured meats and the famous prosciutto. Grilled cheese wrapped in pancetta, eggplant meatballs, accompanied by grilled zucchini and excellent lightly smoked ricotta. Everything was truly exceptional!! Homemade tagliatelle with cod, superb! As for the homemade desserts, made to order: ricotta-filled pastries with cinnamon and lemon, and the crescent with dark chocolate and orange, truly superb. Ciro's white wine. Just rereading it makes my mouth water. Thanks to Giacomo the chef and the very sweet Camilla who served us impeccably.

09/08/2026: We had a great time! The waiter was friendly. Excellent Cosenza rosé. The pasta was very good.

07/08/2026: We came for dinner with three people. The staff was very friendly, always smiling and asking if everything was okay. We ordered swordfish fillet, grilled tuna, and a whole perch. Large portions, very tasty! I also recommend the homemade tiramisu, delicious!! 😋

04/07/2026: Restaurant? Trattoria? Osteria? Bistro? No! Vigifanese is a culinary experience; I suggest changing it to "Vigifanese Experience." We landed late, took a quick shower, and at 10 pm, six of us were seated at the table. Vigifanese is located in the hills of Lamezia Terme, a few kilometers from the town of Sambiase, overlooking a splendid view of the Lamezia Terme plain. The air is pure and crisp, reinvigorating on hot summer evenings like these in 2026. We begin our journey with three large house appetizers (for six people). Pancetta so delicate it melted in your mouth, cheeses and honey, 'Nduja served hot with mini pizza panzerotti, eggplant parmigiana, peppers and fried potatoes (in slang, pipi e patati), pickled vegetables (eggplant and dried tomatoes), meatballs in tomato sauce, rice and potato croquettes, ricotta omelette, cured meat rolls with mozzarella. Maybe I'm forgetting something, but I assure you, what was served could have concluded the dinner. But no, the experience continued. Black pig sausage with porcini mushrooms and potatoes, mixed grill, cod with onions, fried cod with peppers and potatoes. A journey that allowed us to savor the flavors of Calabrian tradition. All accompanied by two bottles of rosé from a Calabrian winery. Lemon sorbets to round out the experience, made even more enjoyable by excellent service, as young as the owner. What can I say? A place unknown to me (but known to my fellow diners), it has automatically entered the top spot of Lamezia Terme's restaurants. I forgot, the quality-price ratio is remarkable (€30/person). Ad maiora.

28/06/2026: I had a really good meal at this restaurant! The dishes were tasty, beautifully presented, and prepared with quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The service was fast and punctual, and the ambiance was meticulously designed. A positive experience in every way, I'll definitely be back!
