06/07/2025: The restaurant is located right near the main square of Civita, a splendid Arbëreshë village in the province of Cosenza. After my experience I consider Kamastra a must-see if you want to discover and taste local cuisine in the name of tradition. To choose what to taste, ask the owner for advice, a cultured and absolutely helpful person who will take you on a journey of history and flavors that will amaze you. You will not be dissatisfied. I will definitely be back

25/06/2025: A friend introduced us to this reality. Great meeting, pure Calabrian hospitality, excellent food, expected flavors of our land, without paying attention to quantity in quality. Just ask and they try to accommodate us, from the position of the table to the choice of menu. To Pietro son of Antonio, always present in the structure, we wish all the best, Pietro has not escaped from our land and deserves respect and attention. Recommended the experience not for the weak stomach, there is real food, from appetizer to dessert.

30/06/2025: Excellent service, I didn't book but they found me a table in 10 minutes. Large seafood appetizer, large and tasty, just excellent. Excellent swordfish rolls, excellent red tuna. Fruity and tasty wine. I didn't have dessert, I was full. Fast and courteous service.
29/06/2025: Small quiet street. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is to die for. They are very pleasant and above all, they speak English😅 I recommend it.

25/06/2025: I had dinner with friends and we were all enthusiastic. We had mixed fish appetizers and the amazing fondue with Tropea onion followed by a dentex and red prawns cooked in salt. Very fresh fish, excellent raw materials, very friendly service. I hope to return!

01/07/2025: Lady Silvana: present in the councils, hostess, accomplice, and friend, thank you, Rocca Imperiale was all a surprise, I was expecting something great, in fact it is not only great, the local people are magical, loving, kind, the signs of life and the wrinkles of life experience are visible!. Here is the poet's Trattoria!... magical atmosphere, what a joy, I am 72 years old, I would like to experience it again several times!.. thank you!❣️
29/06/2025: We felt at home! The hospitality was unique. Typical dishes of unique goodness. Rocca Imperiale is a medieval village that preserves a genuine soul that has now been lost in many cities. You can still breathe the lightness of living in a simple way, and we found this simplicity in the traditional dishes tasted in this trattoria! From the array of appetizers, the first course and their amaro we felt like when you eat at grandma's house on a holiday Sunday. To try and to return!

Il proprietario Salvatore è un grande anfitrione: accoglie tutti con un sorriso e cerca di accontentare i clienti anche per richieste fuori menu. Un professionista della ristorazione encomiabile. E se poi voleste provare la pizzeria c'è Domenico e senza esagerare sfido chiunque a trovare una pizza più buona in tutta la provincia. Un posto che raccomando a tutti voi. Maurizio

10/05/2025: "Spectacular" cuisine!!! The fettuccine alla pecoraia simply "divine". Family run, friendly and professional. A friendly but well-kept place and reasonable prices. Even the house wine is good (which for Milan and its province seems to be something not to do). It only requires a small soundproofing intervention. There is parking in front, although it is unpaved and bumpy.

21/06/2025: We waited 40 minutes just that they took our order, everyone was stressed. Olive oil was Bad and old so that we couldnt eat it. Smallest wish to leave out the Fish because we are vegetarians was too much. Pasta with Mozzarella filling in tomato Sauce was so Bad, i coulndt eat it. It tasted like from the Supermarket. Its touristic Place where i would Never eat again.

Excellent the sliced ​​octopus with orange, red onion and pecorino, equally for the platter of cured meats, pecorino, without forgetting the eggplant rolls with ricotta and sweet and sour Tropea onions. Excellent the spaghetti of the day with a lobster, cherry tomatoes and shovel. Excellent selection of local wines in particular those obtained from the Greco di Bianco and Mavasia varieties, huwithout forgetting the Pecorello. Outdoor tables in a characteristic little square. Kind and knowledgeable staff. Not very suitable for families with children, parking 15 minutes away and outside the historic center. Without barriers, perhaps the bathroom a little undersized.

12/05/2025: perfetto!! ho anzi abbiamo gradito e gustato tutto!! per l'esattezza non proprio tutto in quanto antipasto abbondante ed ottimo seguito da primi piatti davvero gustosi ed abbondanti ed a questo punto, secondi piatti non presi (sarà per la prossima volta sicuramente!!!); camerieri gentili e disponibili, complimenti a Luca lo chef!!!!

02/06/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia compreso un bimbo di 5 medi. ho pranzato a fine maggio . Il locale non e' molto grande, ma confortevole, al nostro arrivo ci hanno consegnato i menù elencando a voce anche i piatti del giorno e incredibilmente ci e' stato chiesto se ci fosse qualche commensale allergico, alla risposta positiva e' stato preso nota degli allergeni da comunicare in cucina, da allergica ho apprezzato moltissimo questa attenzione che non sempre si trova nei ristoranti. Antipasto misto a base di cicoria e patate, frittelle di patate favolose, pinza ripiena di peperoni, bruschetta con pomodorini freschi, ricottina, salame piccante, melanzane grigliate con pomodorini. Come primi tagliatelle ai funghi, Mafalda al sugo di pomodoro con carne di vitello e salsiccia, pasta con acciughe fritte , secondi scaloppine al bergamotto favolose, tagliata tenerissima con patatine fritte e funghi trifolati. Per dessert sorbetto al limone. Vino e acqua . Abbiamo speso euro 74,00 che per la qualità , quantita' e bontà dei piatti e' un prezzo sbalorditivo, se vi vuole andare in luglio o agosto bisogna prenotare a gennaio. Non ultimo nel bagno esiste un fasciatoio dove e' possibile cambiare un bimbo piccolo e inoltre sono accettati i cani .Che dire un locale dove ti senti a casa
14/05/2025: Tutto perfetto. Abbiamo preso un menù fisso che comprendeva antipasto primo secondo contorno dessert acqua vino e amaro. Tutto genuino ben cotto e ben condito. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Personale gentile e simpatico. Lo consiglio vivamente.

19/05/2025: Spectacular location, welcome from Maestro Trichilo and then the very attentive and prepared staff who satisfied our every request: from cold water immediately at the table to an encore of wild boar salami and more. The food is all produced, processed and cooked and plated by Chef Trichilo, the kitchen is open and, from the green lawn where the tables are positioned, you can enjoy and be surrounded by olive trees, oranges, mandarins, mangoes and the entrance is very well adorned with geranium plants but there are also chilli pepper plants, bergamot mint, in short it seems like being in a film. Almost at the end of the dinner the Maestro, together with some of the guests, began to play instruments such as "the lyre, the accordion and the guitars and tambourines... typical Calabrian songs. Everything was magnificent and everyone was very satisfied, we were about a hundred people if not more 🥂 Congratulations, it seemed like I was eating something that reminded me of the scents and flavors of when, as a child, my paternal grandmother cooked. 27/04/2025: Entri in questo locale e ti senti a casa: la tavola imbandita da subito e una calorosa accoglienza dallo Chef Francesco . Un meraviglioso viaggio di sapori: ingredienti “poveri” ma piatti squisiti che riportano realmente ai piatti dell’infanzia preparati dalla dolce nonna. Lo chef accompagna ogni piatto alla propria storia e ti perdi tra racconti e sapori. Un pranzo davvero speciale con ingredienti tutti a km zero. La particolarità è soprattutto il fatto che il menu cambi di giorno in giorno in base ai prodotti selezionati e sul fatto che non vi sia possibilità di scelta: lo chef crea e tu assaggi… e credetemi! Non si rimane delusi!!! Esperienza unica! Grazie infinite per questo magnifico viaggio ricco Di storia e sapori
