21/02/2026: I ordered a takeaway bowl of fire duck and spicy seaweed. It was disappointing and inedible. €12 for a bunch of pieces chopped up haphazardly without being deboned first. There were more bones than meat, and the portion was absolutely not worth the price. The seaweed was also awful, and there was an absurd amount of garlic that wasn't indicated. Never again.

04/02/2026: Delicious Hunan cuisine!! As a native of Changsha, I can attest to it! Even if it were located in Changsha, it would be a very good restaurant. Worth a try!

20/03/2026: You order a lot of food and you don't even get half, maybe a third. The atmosphere is terrible: it smells, people screaming, music blaring like a nightclub, no space, and people staring at you while you eat. The food? The tacos are truly disgusting; I ate half of one and felt sick. The portions are strange; some seemed like unidentifiable food (human or pig, who knows), with herbs thrown in haphazardly. Many dishes had more salsa than rice. The organization was lacking: they brought us five sheets of paper to order, whether due to confusion or something else. I ordered number 64 twice and they told me the rice ran out… at 12:00? How is that possible when I've eaten practically nothing? The chef had no hat (okay, he's bald, so at least no hair in the food), but still, it doesn't give a great impression of hygiene. I give it 2 stars, but it deserves half a star, just like the portions that arrive.

08/03/2026: SCANDALOUS!!! We drove an hour from Ticino! We booked via WhatsApp, and once we arrived, the owner pretended nothing had happened, even though he read the chat, which clearly stated that the table had been reserved for the chosen time days before. Oh, I forgot, and he also left a 4-year-old without food. Comment!

08/03/2026: I go to Hegui at least once or twice a month now, partly because I've developed an addiction to their ponzu sauce. The food never disappoints, and they're very friendly! Hegui, never change!

07/03/2026: I've been to this sushi restaurant and had a truly positive experience. The owner was super nice and attentive, making us feel at ease right away. The guy who recommended the dessert was also very friendly and kind, and his recommendation turned out to be excellent! Attentive service, a pleasant atmosphere, and truly friendly staff. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

08/03/2026: I went to this restaurant with friends to try the hot pot. The place is conveniently located, with plenty of parking nearby. The dining room is large and clean. The ordering system is the typical all-you-can-eat tablet, where we selected the broth to cook our food in and the various dishes to try: a selection of meats, ravioli, vegetables, and various fish. Overall, everything was good, an experience I'd repeat, but it's more of a "fun" experience than a proper dinner. The only thing I didn't really like was the dessert, which had a lot of gelatin, two lychees, and something like sesame seeds.

I'm not arguing about the place, I'm not arguing about the food: I'm arguing about the owner's manners, who is completely incapable of respectfully interacting with customers, which is the most precious thing for a restaurant. I call once in advance to ask for a change in the seating capacity: he answers, I start talking, and he hangs up on me. I call back a second time: I point out that the line may have been disconnected, I politely ask the question, and he replies in an absolutely annoyed and upset tone that he's working, and without letting me finish speaking, he hangs up on me. You could have just politely replied that you were busy and to call back later, or not answer the phone if you had to. Rude: I'll spend my money elsewhere.

10/11/2025: Great Dining Experience with Impressive Dishes! I had a wonderful meal here that totally exceeded my expectations! The food is prepared with great care, and each dish has distinct flavors that left a deep impression. The grilled red sea bream was incredibly flavorful and well-cooked, while the sweet and sour pork (guobaorou) was a standout—its meat is firm and slightly chewy, which I personally loved (food preferences are subjective, after all!). The dumplings had a chewy wrapper, though the shrimp filling had a slight fishy taste—reminding me of the tough texture issue with Tunisian shrimp I had last month, a minor letdown. As someone who prefers vegetarian dishes over meat, the "Lotus Pond Moonlight" was my favorite—it’s fresh, crisp, and so delicious that I could finish the whole plate alone! The home-style tofu isn’t the fried type, so I was a bit disappointed at first, but it turned out to be savory and tasty. The chestnut chicken was also excellent: the chicken was perfectly tender, and if the chestnuts were a bit softer, I would’ve eaten the entire portion by myself. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, and I ended up having half a bowl without realizing it. The portion sizes aren’t overly large, but that’s actually a plus—it lets you order more dishes to try a variety of flavors . The overall atmosphere is pleasant, and it’s a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic, flavorful food. Highly recommend giving it a try!
