10/04/2025: As for lunch, food without infamy and without praise. There is relatively little choice and many dishes can only be ordered once (I'm not talking about the classic tartare but also the Chinese ravioli, you can order a maximum of 3 each). Some Huramaki we tried had practically no fish inside, they were rice and seaweed with a bit of fish/seasoning on top. I fully understand that for the €15.90 AYCE lunch menu the quantity and choice of some dishes must be limited, however having tried many other restaurants in the same price range I must say that I was a little disappointed. That said, it was still a pleasant lunch and the price was also absolutely honest.

09/04/2025: Stupendous! Fantastic! Amazing food!!! We ate yubu kimbap, fried chicken with leek and spicy sour chicken, and then japchae. All very good, really. The best Korean restaurant I've ever eaten at. The very good natural wine. Accurate, kind and friendly service. Guys. One word: go there! There is a step at the entrance but there are tables outside. I haven't checked gluten free options but it can't be easy!

19/02/2025: I ordered lunch via Just Eat, and since the delivery time was extended by 20 minutes 3 times (with a delay of an hour) I finally decided to call for explanations. I was told on the phone that they don't take care of deliveries, but only prepare the dishes. Since the words "the rider has arrived at the restaurant" had been present on the video for more than half an hour, I kindly asked to check if he had actually arrived, and coincidentally the rider was out there. Basically if you don't ask them they won't be interested in taking care of your delivery, which is why they will never see me again!

08/05/2025: Fixed stop on Saturday evening at 11pm after work. Kitchen open until midnight, it's difficult to find restaurants like this nowadays. Abundant and very good dishes. Excellent prices for being a stone's throw from Loreto.

23/04/2025: The taste of the food is okay, but the price is a bit expensive. The tomato beef and a bowl of white rice I ordered cost 15.5€. Also, why don't you let me bring water? ? ? I have a habit of carrying a water bottle with me, so I carry a bottle of water into the store. They didn't allow me to drink it. What the waiter said was that there is a rule in our store that I cannot drink the water I bring. When I opened the menu, a bottle of mineral water cost 3 euros. Really profitable

21/04/2025: An exciting return to the true flavors of China Dining at Mao Hunan in Milan was, for me, like going back in time, to the months spent in China, among intense aromas, authentic flavors and dishes that truly speak of a distant land but still present in my heart. It is rare to find a restaurant capable of evoking the culinary soul of an entire region with so much precision and fidelity, but here they have succeeded, and with great dignity. Each dish reawakened memories that had been dormant for years, bringing back to my palate flavors that I thought I could never find again. A rich, deep, spicy, sincere cuisine. A true celebration of Hunanese tradition, made with respect and competence. The service was impeccable: kind, friendly and always available to explain dishes and flavors to those who want to discover something more. A warm welcome, which makes the experience even more pleasant. Mao Hunan is not just a restaurant, it is a corner of China in Milan. For those who really love this cuisine, or for those who want to discover it in its most authentic form, it is a must.

20/04/2025: 7 of us came for an informal dinner with friends. The food was of excellent quality and arrived quickly but the important and particular part was obviously the moment of cooking the food. You can choose from 1 to 4 broths in which to cook the food you order and we found it to be a very fun dynamic. It can quickly become a bit chaotic but if you are not looking for a refined and elegant dinner that's fine. Super recommended for those who want to try hot pot with friends in a simple, informal way. Excellent prices (which depend on what you want to eat) and top service. Very kind staff.
