Dea mangiona

15/08/2025: We were fortunate enough to sit at one of the tables at the traditional Dea Mangiona restaurant in the center of Cetara. A little gem run by a cheerful, smiling, hospitable, and kind owner couple. It's an experience that feels like home; the owners have an admirable way of making everyone feel at ease.
At the owner's suggestion, we ordered the "mille facce di alice," an appetizer that captures the aromas and flavors of beautiful Cetara, represented even more symbolically by the spaghetti with anchovy sauce.
We were amazed by the owner's welcome and the explanations of the dishes, and equally amazed by her husband's preparations.
We won't forget this place and will definitely return! Highly recommended.

23/07/2025: The best restaurant in Cetara, hands down. The hostess was incredibly kind, and the fish was delicious. We had an exceptional grilled fish platter, with a special mention for the tuna: tender, flavorful, and phenomenal. The icing on the cake was the lemon dessert, a must-try! We'll be back!
07/07/2025: We had such a good time the first night, we came three nights in a row until we left Cetara!
The food is utterly amazing! Great portion sizes, full of flavour, super fresh, generous wine pours, interesting options with every catch of the day.
And of course, Signora Nadia. The best hostess in town! Grazie mille, Signora. We had a truly amazing time (incredibile, non soprendente! 😂) We will miss you! 🥹 Con amore dall'Australia.

I'm French and have been here for a few days, and this is the first time I've experienced such pleasure in an Italian restaurant.
The welcome was warm and friendly; we immediately felt at ease. I came with my sister, her partner, and my daughter, and we were treated with genuine, simple, and sincere attention.
Every bite of my meal was a delight, with authentic, generous flavors prepared with care. You can feel the love of cooking and the desire to please the customers.
A special thought goes to the chef and his entire team: I hope they continue to delight their customers for a long time to come!

28/08/2025: Not a particularly exciting experience given the reputation evident in Google reviews. We were over half an hour late to be seated (after booking), but the staff was present and apologized countless times (that's fine, but you need to be better organized to avoid making a fool of yourself). Once seated, we ordered immediately. The appetizers (two complimentary) offered by the chef (owner) were really good, the one we ordered a little less so. Of the three first courses, two (arrived an hour after ordering) were acceptable, while the third (spaghetti with clams) was absolutely unsuitable. Several items on both the wine list and the menu were unavailable. We paid a fair price, but it would be wise to raise the bar across the board. There's work to be done, but basically, some of the guys are good, so hopefully we can make up for it!

11/08/2025: I was at this restaurant last night and had a truly pleasant experience!
The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The view is simply breathtaking.
We ordered appetizers, 2 first courses, and 2 second courses; I must say, everything was delicious! The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was excellent.
The service was quick and attentive.
The wait staff was very helpful in answering our questions and suggesting dishes.
The prices were reasonable and reasonable considering the quality of the food.
I highly recommend Falalella to anyone looking for a good meal in a unique setting.
I will definitely be back!
06/08/2025: Recommended restaurant, excellent food, spectacular view, and impeccable service. The price is fair. The only small flaw: the tuna was excellent, but a little more would have been more appropriate.

28/06/2025: We went to Chocolamì every day during our stay in Cetara. It's a wonderful spot to stop by at any time of day, whether for a bite to eat or something to drink. We tried several breakfast specialties as well as many of the chocolates and biscuits – everything was top quality and incredibly delicious. We even brought home some cookies and chocolates! The experience was fantastic. The grocery store next door was also excellent – we sampled a variety of fresh vegetables from there. The people were very kind and welcoming. We’d love to come back someday! :)

29/07/2025: We were greeted by the very kind staff. The food was excellent, the terrace well-kept, clean, and pleasant. Even my celiac daughter was able to dine, choosing any dish from the menu, which was then prepared gluten-free for her.
29/07/2025: Wonderful experience! I'm celiac and was looking for a place to eat that could offer something for me. I called the restaurant, and they promptly reassured me that the entire menu was available gluten-free. When I arrived, I was greeted by the very kind and helpful waiters, who quickly served me a delicious plate of ziti with tuna Genovese, fried fish, and sandwiches. There's also the option of a gluten-free dessert, but the abundance of dishes made it difficult. I'll definitely try that next time. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: Recommended by friends, I couldn't have found a better place to celebrate my wife's birthday: the excellent products and expert preparation provided us with dishes that were nothing short of fabulous. But above all, it's the welcome that stands out: the friendliness of Antonella and the entire staff, not to mention Michele's wisdom and cheerfulness, make you feel so at home that you almost regret having to leave. My heartfelt congratulations and thank you for the wonderful day spent with you.

16/08/2025: Twelve euros of arrogance!
In two days, I spent €250 at this restaurant. Not a small amount, I'd say! At my second lunch, however, two shrimp were missing from the raw fish platter. At the cashier, I politely pointed out that the two shrimp had never arrived, and therefore I was charged an additional €12. I expected a "sorry, I'll take care of it right away." But no: the owner decided my word wasn't enough. Evidently, for them, a customer who pays handsomely can also pretend they've been robbed of two shrimp. So, no immediate refund: first, I had to go through the security footage.
I had to return two hours later, just enough time for the lady to finish watching the footage, to hear me say that yes, I was right, and that the two shrimp had never arrived. Only then, with great generosity, did they refund me my €12. Now, let's be clear: it's not about the €12, but the way it was done. After spending hundreds of euros, being treated like a potential scammer for such a trivial matter is grotesque.
Clearly, they're not serving the customer here: they're monitoring them. It's a shame they don't even have a shred of respect and professionalism. 1 star. Highly discouraged!
10/08/2025: We just spent a week on this beach... what can I say... very kind staff... both the guys on the beach, the shuttle captain and the waiters... delicious food and all fresh caught that day... we will definitely be back

19/06/2025: We went at 7 p.m. and were told the kitchen opened at 8 p.m. We took a shower and came back at 9:30 p.m. and the kitchen was already closed! Google says they're open until 12 p.m. Besides, you could have told us the first time we asked.

25/05/2025: Este fue, por mucho, nuestro lugar favorito durante su estancia en Cetara! Todo era delicioso y lugar en cada momento y comimos aquí 4 veces. El propietario y los servidores eran muy agradables y eficientes. Si estás en Cetara, seguro que no te puedes perder.
20/05/2025: La comida era preciosa! Productos de precio justo y buena calidad. Sin embargo, el servicio decepcionó la noche. La camarera era desagradable y grosera. Golpeó nuestra comida sobre la mesa, nos ignoró durante la mayor parte de la noche. Parecía que no nos quería allí. Poner un amortiguador en la comida, que es una pena ya que la comida y el restaurante era delicioso.
