20/09/2025: Everything was perfect. The food was top-notch, and the wait staff was extremely courteous and punctual. The professionalism and hospitality were top-notch. And then, executive chef Di Martino surprisingly fulfilled a request of mine. Thank you.
29/08/2025: We booked for dinner, received an excellent welcome, and the location was splendid, with a dream view. The staff were very friendly, and therefore our expectations were very high, as expected for a two-star establishment. We opted for the three-course à la carte menu, which I personally had trouble with since the menu didn't clearly state what the main course was. I left half of it, but no one asked me why.
We try to talk about it, as well as other small problems with the dishes, which certainly appear to be meticulously prepared and the result of considerable thought and effort, and we are summoned by the head
chef, since Gennaro Esposito is unfortunately not present, who makes his own arguments and doesn't listen much. It's a shame. It would have been enough to simply use the words "I'm sorry" or "sorry" with humility and perhaps show a little more consideration, as I would expect in a place of this caliber. I'm a professional, and in my line of work, if there's an apology to be made, I do so, even after 40 years of experience. Back at the table,
there were truly many pamperings, from the pre-dessert to the coffee to the little gift at the end. Overall, a lovely evening.
But since it's a place where you know the prices are what they are, you expect perfection.

08/10/2025: Highly recommended. The food was great (one of the best we've had here), and the service was attentive, albeit a bit busy. But that was also due to the restaurant being busy. The ambiance is simple but pleasant.

28/09/2025: We were so fortunate to find this charming Italian gourmet food shop right around the corner from our hotel. The offerings are amazing! Pasquale showed us many local items and we bought several gifts to take home. Twice during our stay in Seiano, we had glasses of wine in the afternoon in the sweet cafe area. Everything about this shop was delightful including Pasquale and his attention to detail and his knowledge of Italian food and culture. We can’t say enough good about our experience there!

24/08/2025: I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff was warm and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the room was magnificent. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and friendly atmosphere. 5 stars well deserved!

Definitely recommend this place for a dinner if you are in or passing through Seiano.
30/09/2025: Highly recommended restaurant; we had both the pizza and the fish appetizer and main course. A real surprise, authentic flavors, ingredients cooked with love, and flavors treated with the right respect. The clean atmosphere, fast service, friendly service, and very fair prices make this place a place we'll definitely want to return to. The owner, a very sweet lady, completes a spectacular picture of this slice of Campania.

06/10/2025: Hubby had a steak which was beautiful, I had a bread crumb and tomato covered steak which was not so good. We had a side of grilled veg. People at other tables that had ordered fries were given what looked like oven chips. Pre cut frozen fries not what you would expect to accompany a €30 steak.
06/10/2025: After a few not so enjoyable steaks during our vacation my husband and I decided to give this place a shot. They had good reviews and we were really craving a good steak. I got one of their chicken empanadas, and my husband got the grilled cheese starter, both were very good. For dinner we each ordered a steak, I got the fillet, he got another cut that I can't fully remember. My fillet was perfection. I had my husband try a bite, he also agreed. The cook was perfect medium rare and each bit basically melted in my mouth. The seasoning was perfect. All around, amazing. I know that my husband enjoyed his, but he did say mine was better. If you're going, get the fillet medium rare, you won't regret it. Our server was also very quick with getting us more water and the bill when requested. If we're ever back in the area, we will be back.

11/10/2025: They have succeeded in capturing the aromas and flavors of the sea in excellent dishes. The fried fish is tasty and delicate. The dessert prepared by his wife is sublime. Mr. Salvatore, along with his father, the chef, are friendly and attentive, and they satisfy customers even with requests outside the menu. The knowledgeable staff constantly attends to the customer's needs. The recommended wines are excellent. This review clearly demonstrates the satisfaction of dining at Antichi Sapori.

06/10/2025: Antichi Sapori was a lovely discovery. The place was quiet, without any hustle and bustle or distracting noises, perfect for enjoying a peaceful dinner. The staff greeted me with a smile, the kind of welcome that makes you feel like you're at a friend's house. The restaurant is truly charming, clean, tidy, and has that modern touch that's so appealing, but not overdone.
The service was excellent, fast, and attentive; I didn't have to wait long between courses, but I didn't feel rushed either.
The appetizer had so many delicious things to try, everything was super fresh, with quality ingredients—real ones, not cheap ones.
The first course was made with perfectly cooked pasta and beautifully seasoned. Nothing complicated, just fresh ingredients cooked just right.
The fried food impressed me. You know when you eat fried food and feel heavy afterward? Not here, it was light, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but above all, dry.
The desserts, to finish, were well-made, not too sweet, not too elaborate, but made with care.
The price was fair for what I ate.
Antichi Sapori is one of those places you'll want to return to.
If you're passing through Vico Equense and want to eat well without too much fuss, this is the place to go.

15/10/2025: We went to this restaurant without any expectations, and I must say, we were absolutely blown away! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was top-notch. Truly amazing!
But what really made the night unforgettable was the kindness of Danielle and his wife. They went above and beyond by personally driving us all the way back to our hotel when there were no taxis available after dinner. Who does that? Only someone who is genuinely generous and caring.
This experience made it clear: this is officially the best restaurant we’ve ever been to. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is located inside a large hotel and, for this reason, has its own completely free private parking. The view from the restaurant, directly overlooking Vico Equense and Mount Vesuvius, is breathtaking, enhanced by the outdoor terrace, which is a great addition in the summer.
I had read reviews that said the prices were exaggerated, but considering the refined ingredients used, they seem in line with expectations and, in some cases, even very affordable! Even for a simple Margherita (€7-8), the provenance of the tomatoes and mozzarella is meticulously chosen, as are the ingredients for the other pizzas.
The fried foods are exceptional, as is the pizza; the quality of the ingredients is evident.
The waiters are very kind and the atmosphere is quiet; I highly recommend them!
13/09/2025: Dream location with available parking. Courteous and helpful staff. Cacio e pepe crocchettone for two (the appetizers are delicious, but we want to try the pizzas), bufalina pizzas, and the prized one: excellent light dough and high-quality ingredients. Good selection of craft beers. Congratulations!

03/10/2025: Beautiful place at the foot of Monte Faito.
Getting there is a bit winding, but it's definitely worth it. It's about 9 km uphill from Vico Equense. The food is good; I tried their pizza, but there's also a restaurant, and honestly, I found it excellent for my tastes. Very light. 😋 I recommend it.
20/09/2025: Everything was exceptional, from the food (especially the meat, but the pizza is also excellent), to the panoramic location, to the service, and to the owner's helpfulness, who was hospitable, kind, and attentive like few others. Superb!
