15/11/2025: One word: flawless!!!!
We celebrated our son's first birthday...we made a great impression, congratulations from everyone!! Salvatore was available from the start, with everything...the menu, the decor, the guests...that day he delighted us with his cooking, everything was truly delicious, so good that we don't have photos of the dishes...but for the first time ever...we celebrated an event without wanting to change a thing about how it went! A perfect day!! That's what happens when you deal with people who love their work!!!!

21/06/2025: As a non-Italien speaking wine enthusiast, I would not recommend this spot. Our waiter didn’t know any English hence the communication was complicated and I received a rather mediocre wine without learning anything about it.
Apart from that the experience was good, we had delicious snacks and the waiter was kind and quick. Would come back but maybe not in order to dive into the local wine culture.

But I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavors, the presentation of the dishes, and most importantly, the fresh, delicious fish. So, I decided to leave a review! 22/10/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant, located on the Pozzuoli seafront, a while ago with a set menu. The appetizers were all good, the first courses were average, nothing special, the fried shrimp and calamari were good, and the dessert was delicious. 😋 I expected more. Still, it's worth recommending.

16/06/2025: English: Going down the ramp that takes you towards Lake Averno you feel like you're taking a dip in the past, a bit like the film Ricomncio da tre where you feel like you're returning to that authentic atmosphere of the past, you're welcomed by the smile and incredible kindness of Gabriella who reserves a table under a vineyard pergola where you can enjoy the freshness and flavors of the zero-mile dishes, simple but quality service, genuine flavors, vegetables prepared in a special way, fried anchovies, first courses of fish accompanied by a fresh and tasty white wine, we spent a very hot Sunday in June in an incredible location, kept a little away from the crowd and social media to preserve it, in spring and autumn they organize really nice aperitifs in the vineyard, all at a really honest price, a very rich fixed menu and wine aside that really suits all budgets. Highly recommended only to those who appreciate tranquility and the pleasure of living a timeless experience. We will return again with the promise that the best table will always be for us. Thank you Gabriella for welcoming and pampering us
19/05/2025: Seen marginally but I have to go back, to try. Immersed in nature and tranquility of Lake Averno has a small animal farm, outdoor tables and clean air.

26/10/2025: Hi, we arrived at the restaurant and found it closed! My wife is celiac, and we were very disappointed considering we spent an hour driving around Pozzuoli to find a parking spot. A serious restaurant would have updated their website.
05/10/2025: A very charming little restaurant located right between the center and the port of Pozzuoli. Its simple setting evokes typical Neapolitan moments and phrases from everyday life, and the owner is helpful and polite. A highlight is the gluten-free menu, identical to the regular menu. Worth considering if you're in the area.

11/10/2025: We've been there several times because it's one of the few places with a playground for children, but each time we told ourselves it was the last time.
They have a fairly varied selection, but in my opinion, they don't have any signature dishes. From the open kitchen, you can see they have piles of pre-cooked sandwiches and burgers, which they perhaps pre-order to get through orders more quickly. The result, however, is that what arrives at your table is almost always cold (ditto for the fries) and doesn't correspond to your specific request (like rare).
The staff is generally friendly, some extremely affable and helpful, others (especially one brunette with long hair) almost throw their plate in front of you as if they were doing you a favor.
On Saturday, we witnessed numerous disgruntled customers complaining about the same things, and we realized that perhaps we weren't exaggerating.
And to make matters worse, they charge, so the place is anything but cheap for the quality of the food served. Receipt optional if you don't ask...
09/10/2025: At just 28 years old, Frank Cavaliere is making a name for himself as one of the most exciting emerging pizza chefs in the Phlegraean Fields. His pizza is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, a dough that speaks of passion and knowledge of the ingredients.
The one pictured is a Margherita made with the direct melt-in-the-mouth method, where every detail speaks of care and sensitivity: a well-aired and slightly speckled crust, a sign of impeccable cooking in a wood-fired oven, and a soft yet firm base that accommodates tomato, mozzarella, and fresh basil. A drizzle of olive oil and a light sprinkling of pepper enhance the aromas and flavors.
The dough is light, aromatic, and digestible, with that melt-in-the-mouth feel that only those who truly understand timing and temperatures can achieve.
Frank is a curious and meticulous pizza chef, experimenting with flours and hydration methods without ever straying from the authentic soul of Neapolitan pizza.
You can find his creations at Fab&Fud in Pozzuoli, where every Frank Cavaliere pizza becomes a little tale of flavor and local tradition.

01/10/2025: I went to Masteria Sardo for a group lunch with several friends, and overall it was a positive experience. The location is stunning: surrounded by greenery, with a well-kept garden and a panoramic terrace overlooking the lake, creating a relaxing and evocative atmosphere.
The staff was friendly and helpful, even with a large group like ours. They gave us a warm welcome, even allowing us to enjoy an aperitif in the garden, despite it being a bit far from the restaurant.
Regarding food, the quality is good, but—to be honest—I found the prices a bit high for a farm stay. The wines are above average, and even the set menu is quite expensive for the quantity: four good but not generous appetizers, then a first or second course (depending on the package), and of course water, dessert, and cover charge not included.
In the end, a full meal easily costs over 50-60 euros per person, even more if you choose a good bottle.
In short, a beautiful location and friendly service, but prices are a bit higher than expected for the type of food offered. Ideal for a special occasion, less so for a casual lunch.
28/09/2025: We booked a table on the restaurant's official website via QANDOO. When we arrived at the restaurant, the manager told us that reservations on the website were blocked (it wasn't stated anywhere, and it was the restaurant's official website) and teased us by saying there had been a virus and a problem with the terminals the night before. She then suggested we go to their bar, at 2:00 on Sunday, when we obviously wanted lunch. I definitely won't be returning, and the negative review is well-deserved. I recommend coordinating your phone reservations with online ones, since it's 2025. You can fool other people, not me.

We discovered this gem and it become our go-to place in Pozzuoli for a great snack and lunch.
Georgio and great team are attentive and will give you the best Campania has to offer.
I recommend the tiramisu with pistachio but the pizza can stand on its own.

01/04/2025: Trovandomi a passare voglio provare questa pizzeria. Vengo avvisato che c’è una comitiva danese e la sala dentro non era molto tranquilla. Opto per la veranda e da subito chiedo di accendere una stufa a fungo. Il proprietario ci serve subito per non far aspettare troppo(👍) anche perché ha poco personale. Fritti ottimi, pizza nella norma anche se l’avrei preferita più cotta. Il “problema” è che nonostante le mie insistenze non accedevano il fungo (chiesto 5 volte)e a fine serata la sig.ra / cameriera ha esclamato in modo ironico: “fa freddo??” Al conto, senza fare polemica, mi fanno risparmiare qualcosa e chiede scusa per la mancanza. Per me questa è professionalità… un bel po’ meno da chi deve accontentare la sala.
16/02/2025: Today, Goddess of Fortune unfolded. Terrible service. A lady was taking orders without any idea what was going on. She looked like she was just passing by, completely incompetent. The problems started with the appetizers after a long wait. If the meatballs require 6 pieces, why

The pizzas, the dough is always good, but... one pizza had a hair on it... disgusting... one arrived wrong, the other was an unwanted mini. We've been customers for years, but after today I don't think I'll go back. They didn't even apologize.
It's a shame, sometimes on a bad day it's better to close and waste the day, rather than lose customers.
