29/11/2023: I came to restaurant by chance back in 2019 and just visited again yesterday. Service is good, quality of food is great and prices are definitely fair, not a tourist trap like a lot of places around Naples. Highly recommend!

11/11/2023: Picked this place as it had great reviews however it wasn’t a great experience. The meatballs were stuck together as if they had tried to defrost them quickly, and the spaghetti was super bland. I felt sick immediately after eating too which isn’t a good sign. Also it was cash only, no WiFi, and no running water in the toilet sink.. The waitress was friendly.

07/04/2024: I wouldn’t call it authentic and more a place for tourists. But they have Kind waiters and a cute place HOWEVER the food is not up to these reviews. We have been definitely much more delicious places in Napoli. Unfortunately my Bragioli had a piece of sharp plastic in it and the waiter explained it as they ‘buy’ this dish ready from somewhere and he apologized for it. I mean.. thanks for apologizing but that small piece (around size of a tooth) could be very dangerous as it was sharp enough to cut my tongue or gums and I can’t even imagine if it was a child who ate it. And buying the food from somewhere else?! Unfortunately I don’t recommend this place.

05/04/2024: Very kind welcome, the father in the kitchen is truly a perfect cook! Scialatielli with very fresh and abundant fish. Very clean place, it was recommended to us casually by a housewife who was shopping in a butcher's shop. In 5 days we went there 4 times to try everything. , simple, capable, authentic people not in search of glory or publicity but with a lot of respect for the Neapolitan tradition. 🏆

17/03/2024: ne avevo sentito parlare tanto ed alla fine con i miei amici ci sono andato. La cordialità di Barbara e Bea ci ha subito disarmato ci siamo lasciati condurre nell'esperienza gastronomica più buona in assoluto che possa ricordare. Bocconcini di baccalà, zuppa di cozze, mozzarella ripiena, scialafielli fatti in casa ai frutti di mare e poi poliletti alla Lucia e cannolo scomposto e tiramisú.... mi dispiace non aver foto ma non so o riuscito ad aspettare hoangiato tutto subito. deco dirlo che bella mangiata... devo tornarci devo mangiare il resto. bravi ragazzi andate avanti così

05/04/2024: Lovely family-run pizzeria just off the Piazza Bovio. Friendly team in a tiny place. I had the yellow tomato pizza and it was just amazing.

31/03/2024: Visit here when we come to Naples and are never disappointed. Always really tasty pizzas, very cheap too. €4.50 for a big margherita. Staff are really friendly. Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by whilst eating tasty pizza. Will visit again on our next trip to Naples.

27/02/2024: An amazing dining experience! I had the pleasure of tasting the best sushi of my life in this restaurant. Being an international chef, I can confirm that the work done by the chef is phenomenal. In addition to the spectacular food, the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of sushi and good Japanese cuisine.

18/03/2024: La view è bellissima,non c’è che dire. Peccato che gli impiattamenti e la cucina siamo rimasti un po’ indietro con gli anni. Il menù è molto all’antica. Il personale è gentile,ma il punto debole sono i piatti. Le mie linguine al riccio non avevano sapore e mi dispiace molto dirlo. Anche la mozzarella con i pomodori non era un granché. Il carrellino dei dolci è molto old style e non c’era molta scelta, però la pastiera e i cioccolatini erano buoni,anche se non credo siano di loro produzione.

The owner Gennaro...I call him San Gennaro because he brought us happiness on our plates and in our evenings! Being a difficult person...I recommend it, don't leave Naples without stopping at "Ciro a Santa Lucia" Grazie Gennaro

17/03/2024: I recently worked in the village of Santa Lucia. I had passed by several times without ever stopping even though I was intrigued because it was clear that it had excellent products... a couple of days ago I went there for the first time with my wife... courtesy and kindness reign supreme. We took 2 sandwiches and to say they were good is an understatement... an exceptional flavour, a unique taste! Highest quality products. Not only have you acquired a new customer but I will give you great publicity... people like you deserve this and more!

16/03/2024: We were looking around for a place to try some local meats and cheeses, trying to find something small and not tourist baiting. We found this hidden gem in the back streets of the coast. We asked for a mixed taster platter (as seen in the picture), which is offered with beer or wine of your choice. They have a wide selection of wines from local to national bottles. We had lovely conversations with the owner, Davide, who told us he’s the 4th generation of this business which started in 1930s. His passion for the delicacy was so admirable and inspiring. We got to try a wide range of cheese and cured meats as well as some homemade baked goods and vegetable dishes. He kept coming back with more stuff for us to try! Highly recommend this little shop to anyone local or touring around the area. Look out for it! The prices were also very fair and reasonable for such a high quality selection and for the portion sizes. We had an Italian speaker with us who did most of the talking, otherwise I don’t think we would’ve been able to talk to him much which would’ve been a huge shame as he was so wonderful.
