31/10/2024: On a spectacular day at the end of October, with temperatures around 25 degrees and a fabulous sea, we spent a truly pleasant morning at Golden Beach. Good quality lunch with equally impressive service. This indicates two things: that the seasons are changing (it felt like a day in June) and that if you want quality you pay for it. Nothing to criticize in particular, trusting yourself in the hands of Mrs. Simona you can't complain, it's advisable.

20/11/2024: No encontré este pequeño café pintoresco por accidente, tanto como por un accidente. Nuestra tercera noche en Meta mi esposa tuvo un pequeño accidente. Caminando de regreso a nuestro hotel desde la estación de tren Meta en la oscuridad tropezó con el pavimento irregular y se lastimó el pie. Fuimos capaces de cojear de vuelta a nuestro hotel y fui capaz de tomar un poco de hielo del comedor. Revisando nuestra bolsa de primeros auxilios descubrí durante mi última reorganización de la misma debo haber sacado el vendaje tenso y la crema antiinflamación. La recepción no tenía ninguno, pero dijo que había una farmacia a pocos pasos que probablemente lo haría. Las malas noticias fueron cerradas y no abrirían hasta la mañana siguiente. Me desperté temprano antes del desayuno y lo más importante mi café y partí rápidamente a la Farmacia planeando llegar como abrió. Ok me topé allí medio dormido, recuerda que todavía no había tenido mi dosis de cafeína por la mañana. O caminaba más rápido de lo que pensaba, o el reloj del Farmacéutico era diferente al mío, ya que las persianas seguían bajadas. Afortunadamente, no estaban en el pequeño café de enfrente. El Caffè Caracciolo se encuentra en la esquina de Via Angelo Cosenza y Via Caracciolo frente a una pequeña plaza triangular. Aunque estoy seguro de que atrae al patrón ocasional de los hoteles de playa cercanos, rápidamente me di cuenta de que este no era un lugar turístico. El mostrador y las mesas estaban llenos de lugareños, en su mayoría aquellos que tomaban su desayuno antes de irse a trabajar o dejar a los niños en la escuela. Los mismos tipos de personas que habíamos visto en el autobús a principios de esa semana que va desde Meta al centro de Sorrento. Asentí con la cabeza saludos educados e hice mi contra. Hablo solo unas pocas palabras de italiano, pero afortunadamente dos de ellas son capuchino y cornetto. Pude hacer mi pedido, pagar y apoyarme contra el mostrador para saborear tanto mi tan necesario capuchino como mi entorno. No estoy seguro de si pasé como local, o al menos como visitante italiano, pero al menos parecía que había pasado el examen de aceptación de los lugareños. El café era excelente, caliente y sabroso y no lo digo solo porque era el primero que necesitaba. La pastelería también era bueno, cálido y fresco. El lugar a pesar de las multitudes estaba limpio, y aunque pequeño bien dispuesto. El servicio me pareció rápido y amable. Justo cuando empezaba a disfrutar, miré por la ventana y las persianas de la farmacia al otro lado de la calle se enrollaron. A regañadientes escurri los últimos restos de mi taza la puse en el mostrador, asentí con la cabeza mi agradecimiento y salí por la puerta. Cruzando la calle rápidamente hice mis compras y me dirigí de nuevo por la calle al hotel y a mi paciente.

As loyal customers of Antonino and Ilaria we can only recommend their special restaurant to everyone. Special mention for their fried anchovies appetizer: unmissable. ♥️

Siamo clienti da una vita e sinceramente una recensione ci sta, ma troppe mi sembrano frutto di qualche mente logora. Il personale è gentile e dietro al banco ci sono I proprietari. Il posto è perfetto solo per acquistare perché purtroppo per il momento non ci sono tavoli a disposizione

16/10/2024: What a shame to have read just a few days ago about the closure of the business. Da Brillante is our fixed stop every time we go to visit my boyfriend's family in Naples. Super tasty desserts, rich in fillings and always fresh. I hope they will reopen because we just can't do without this goodness.

04/11/2024: The liquors that you taste here are of good quality. Also the chocolates. But it's mass production!! for tourists who can get out there by bus for 20 minutes for panoramic shots, a P. break and a tasting, because the road on the Amalfi Coast is a one-way street for buses and you are not allowed to stop anywhere else. In my opinion the goods are too expensive.

28/12/2024: Always very good! Every Christmas it is a fixed stop to bring all our typical desserts to the North: Sfogliatelle, Babá, lemon delights. The cannoli are also excellent!

18/11/2024: A beautiful place to have a coffee ☕ or enjoy a delicious croissant 🥐 but also something savory. A friendly and welcoming environment, thanks to the active contribution of the owner Maurizio, makes this place a meeting and relaxation point on the road to Sorrento. Highly recommended.
