02/08/2024: Great address, set back from the hyper-touristy seaside. Excellent cuisine, good choice of wines, professional and friendly service. Attractive prices. We should have gone earlier

30/07/2024: Good fried starters: that's about it. Pasta have no taste Pizza: only if you like adventure We complained for the (that we did not eat to the contrary of what is said in the response below 🤥), however the waiter/manager did not seem to care much, he said "ah ok". Don't hesitate to ask the waiter/manager to switch on the aircon that's closest to your seat as it seems off most of the time and it gets warm with the kitchen ovens 🥵 You could, however, hear something like "you might need a jacket" though 😉 EDIT: responses to negative reviews are pretty self-explanatory regarding the attitude towards customers in this restaurant 🤦‍♂️

22/08/2024: Wow wow wow, as we mentioned already to the team on our way out; “best food we’ve had during our vacation”. Please be aware that the carbonara is addictive and will have to be ordered twice 😇 Lovely place, lovely service, lovely food. We found this place on a complete blind search and happened to discover a gem. Hopefully this gem gets discovered by many others. Keep this up, you guys provide the best service one can find in the south of Italy. 🩷🩷🩷

27/08/2024: The food was very good, we had Ricciola carpaccio as a starter. As mains we had the fish of the day, Wild Sea Bass all'acqua pazza, it was amazing. Tagliatelle ai Gamberi (prawns) also amazing. The sides were good. Very nice and romantic view at sunset. The staff very professional, friendly and they know everything about every dish! We spent little for the quality of the food, for the service and for the ambience. Well done to everybody!

26/08/2024: Top restaurant Excellent staff I have eaten in many restaurants....but I left this one enthusiastic, I ate the spaghetti with sea urchin, a dish cooked in a simple but excellent way!!! An explosion of flavor. For second I ordered fried calamari...another surprise!! Light, dry frying and the squid were covered in a cascade of vegetables cut into strips and always fried in an excellent manner!! I will absolutely return and I wholeheartedly recommend it, a top evening, compliments to the chefs, waiters and those who manage the restaurant!

09/08/2024: Great food, and the most incredible service. Try the Chef's mystery pizza! Whatever he wants on the pizza shows up, and absolutely worth it. We'll be back!

08/08/2024: This restaurant is in the beautiful town of Meta, near Sorrento, we have had dinner twice, the food was great, we tried a burger covered with pizza dough and a sandwich with pizza dough, everything was delicious and the staff was also able to communicate in Spanish and at the end of dinner you can take a walk through the party area a little further down. Highly recommended value for money.

21/06/2024: An institution of pastry making and customer service, Bar Romano is always a certainty and it is a pleasure to know that you can turn to it to order pastries for events as well as for a 'sweet' stop when passing through. I highly recommend.

18/08/2024: Very nice location, overlooking the sea, excellent food with a good quality/price ratio. Only note, better not to become a regular customer, I've been there three times, the first one one of the best seats, impeccable service, second time I wanted to try the meat, and already too many greetings and the most hidden seat and then a constant call to the waiter. Third time good place to sit but after 5 minutes they make us get up and sit near the counter where the waiters have cutlery, bread, glasses, and in our place a couple who evidently know the staff are made to sit who evidently leave good tips. The rest I recommend.

11/08/2024: The whole experience was not pleasant. It started with a drink that was not complete. They didn’t include a slice of lemon or orange in the drink, which cost eight euros. The catering team was awkward, as they were hesitant to serve our family seated next to the ocean view. The fish we ordered was undercooked, so we had to ask them to cook it again. The burger came with no bun, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, or cheese; it was just a plain patty with fries on top of it. They forgot to bring the basket of bread, which was part of everyone's meal offer on the menu, listed at €16–€18. I was charged €20 for a very small salad next to the fish, and it wasn’t fresh. The bottle of water on the menu was listed as €2.53, but the prices were outdated, and they charged €2.50 for each person. We found this to be very high. If you’re allergic to dogs or cats, be aware that there was a dog in the kitchen while the food was being prepared. Despite mentioning these issues, we had to wait over an hour for the pasta to be cooked. Nothing was taken off our bill, and only a free limoncello was offered. The view was alright though..

22/05/2024: Got to say as a couple of 60 year olds this bar was so welcoming! The staff were excellent as was the service! The music was young but we enjoyed it anyway! Stayed out up to 11 ish when the locals were coming out but everyone was friendly and there were no issues. Great place to watch the sunset as the bar is on 3 levels. Great atomosphere and very very friendly. Planning to go back to meta and will definitely visit the crew bar again!!

21/08/2024: Great find! We had already heard very good things about it but due to the distance we had to wait for an occasion like this, we found ourselves here after having ordered a birthday cake six days before from a pastry shop near our home, the evening before the birthday we were told that it wasn't as much as possible. We ordered a delicious Kinder Pinguì cake and a tray of mignon. Despite the distance they held up and everything was delicious. You have some new regulars!

23/08/2024: As the last stop on our coastal motorbike trip we made a stop in this bar. Location with very elegant outdoor space with breathtaking views. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Great experience, thanks again.

01/05/2024: Great little bar tucked away behind the sun loungers. The service was exemplary, the food was brilliant and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely a recommended place to stop for a bite to eat and "some" drinks.
