30/01/2026: Dinner experience on Thursday, January 29, 2026. I was hesitant to eat there because, being winter and the hotel undergoing renovations, there was scaffolding at all the restaurant windows. Aside from the two of us, when we arrived at 7:30 pm, there was only one other couple and their child. So, I preferred to disregard the atmosphere, because if tourists don't go in winter, it's not their fault, and renovations are inevitable for all buildings. So, we sat down anyway. And we were very glad we went. Everything was perfect! The waiter started by offering us a plate of delicious little bites. Then, I ordered the "Ricardo menu" and was first served a seafood platter with an assortment of beautifully prepared bites! My wife started with the lemon risotto. She loved it. Then my zucchini ravioli were delicious, and my wife had a veal escalope with lemon, which she also enjoyed. We shared a fruit panna cotta and a cappuccino. All of this was served with impeccable service. Thank you. Grazie!

11/10/2025: Great lunch with an incredible view! The food is simply EXCELLENT and it's only outdone by the staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The two guys waiting on us on the terrace by the pool were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! 10/10/2025: Excellent experience!!! The drinks were delicious (limoncello and aperol), the pizza was spectacular, and the lasagna was out of this world!!! 😋😋😋 The service was extremely friendly, both from the waitress and the owner himself... exceptional warmth... we felt right at home❤️, we are Uruguayans. We are very grateful to everyone... we would definitely go back there!!! 🥰

30/09/2025: The tiramisu is fantastic and the atmosphere is beautiful, with children playing, the greenery everywhere, an environment that transmits serenity.

01/01/2026: Overall, the experience was okay, but the prices are decidedly excessive. The dishes we ate didn't justify the cost: half a first course, a rather small second course, and a bottle of water totaling €50 seemed truly disproportionate. I would still recommend the restaurant, but I suggest sticking to the classic menu and avoiding the "catch of the day."

05/01/2026: A wonderful Slow Food spot that perfectly combines the quality of the products used, the hospitality of the owners, and the kindness of the waiters, in a charming location on two floors. Upstairs, the vaulted ceiling and the light from the window will make you feel like you're in paradise. The homemade bread, baked in the oven and served warm, with fennel, is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the meat and fish appetizer, accompanied by a glass of white wine, and then indulged in the spaghetti with lupini beans, followed by tiramisu served in the classic "buccaccielli" (glass jars), and coffee. A lunch that awakened the senses and relaxed me, reminding me that everything in Massa Lubrense happens slowly. An experience I'll definitely repeat. A child-friendly place.

07/09/2025: A truly unique experience. Spectacular, peaceful location, and top-quality food. We stayed at the Hotel Due Golfi for a friend's birthday, and it was an unforgettable day. Paola, in particular, made everything fantastic, with such joy and attention to detail. Thank you so much.

07/09/2025: We came in as outsiders for a dip in the pool and also stayed for lunch. We relaxed, had fun, and ate well. It was one of our birthdays, and the waiters immediately made themselves available to help us celebrate, singing a birthday song with us, complete with a candle. The atmosphere was relaxing, professional, and fun. Recommended.

08/12/2025: The house appetizer was fresh, grilled and fried to perfection. The first course was ravioli with mushrooms and walnuts, which were simply exquisite. The second course was two Florentine steaks for four people—I don't know how to describe them, but one thing is certain: they take it seriously. The service was kind, expert, and, above all, cheerful. I highly recommend this culinary experience 👍

08/10/2025: We stayed for three nights at the Villa Lubrense for the last part of our honeymoon and can't recommend it enough. Amidst the bustle of the Amalfi and the rest of the Gulf, this hotel is quiet and restful and would be great for both a weekend retreat or a longer-term stay. Its location is unbeatable, with amazing views of the Gulf, Vesuvius and Naples. There is a small, rocky beach that is about a 15 minute hike down the rock face. By the beach are a few restaurants (the one we went to had the best pasta we had in Italy). It's also easy to get to the Bagni Regina Giovanna (a must-see and worth the 30 min walk from the Villa - or 20 mins if you take the bus to Capo) and to Sorrento (about 15 mins by bus which costs 2 euro and comes every 20 mins). If you feel comfortable renting a scooter, it would definitely be recommended, as the bus is not fully reliable - make sure you note where the bus stops are. Overall we had no issues though. I also want to specifically thank Fabiola for the wonderful service. After a difficult day (and a mistake on my part) we arrived late and Fabiola stayed late and picked us up herself - it saved our honeymoon and I'll always remember the gesture!

02/10/2025: The complex is beautiful, our room was not good, lots of background noise and old, breakfast was often simply empty, a ten-minute wait for a roll, sausage out... If you love breakfast, it's terrible. ADDITION, ADDITION: For the last three days, a different person has prepared breakfast, and lo and behold, there was sausage and eggs... The response to my hotel review, that we were late for breakfast, is not true; we were at breakfast between 8:10 and 9:30.

04/11/2025: Massimo, Luigi, and Nino are always courteous and professional in their work. This is a very nice bar located in the center of Massa Lubrense. Pizza, rotisserie, ice cream, granitas, cocktails, and coffee are top notch.

11/10/2025: A wonderfully located beach bar, built directly over the sea, with a fantastic view of the ocean and the striking cliffs. The food was delicious for a beach bar. A bit more expensive, but that's also due to the difficult access...we found the climb and descent well worth it...a great place to relax!

21/09/2025: Fun, quirky cafe I wish I had discovered sooner, even though we stayed right next to it! It doesn’t stand out much, but the coffee and pastries were delicious! The little place was full of funky art and interesting things, and the owners were really, really great.

20/09/2025: This is one of the most remarkable dining experiences. We stumbled upon this place walking from Massa Lubrense, and from the moment we entered we were greeted with genuinely *world class* service. We were a little early for dinner so we ordered from the still-active lunch menu. Everything was delicious and perfect in its own regard. I’ve eaten in remarkable places around the world, but I can confidently say this is the most beautiful setting I’ve ever dined from. We were lucky to catch the perfect sunset over the sea. After dinner, we went up to the sky bar for drinks and desert. Again - world class views. You don’t go there to rush in and out, you go there to enjoy life. At the end, the concierge was once again of the utmost help, with a level of grace and camaraderie you almost never see. I will certainly stay at the hotel next time I come to visit. This will be the highlight of two weeks in Italy for certain.

04/08/2025: My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying in the detached cottage room. Valentina took great care of us and let us taste several of the homemade liquors they had at the farm, all of which were very good. The dinner was also excellent, and was offered at a great price as well. If we're ever back in Sorrento we will definitely be staying here again!
