21/03/2026: I had a simply wonderful experience at the Hotel Il Nido in Sorrento. The pesce spada al limone was impeccable—perfectly cooked, extremely tender, and with a light yet sophisticated balance of flavors, highlighting the freshness of the fish without masking its essence. While we waited, we were surprised with a delicious complimentary dish: arancini and tomato bruschetta, both very well prepared and which already hinted at the high level of the cuisine. The house wine also deserves mention—very pleasant, balanced, and perfectly complementing the main course. To finish, the tiramisu was, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted in Italy: light, creamy, and with just the right amount of distinctive flavor. But the real difference goes beyond the food: the service is exceptional. Attentive, cordial, and genuinely welcoming—the kind that makes you feel special. A complete experience, which I recommend without hesitation.

10/05/2026: 10 years ago we celebrated our wedding promise here, Mr. Antonio was very kind and made us feel at home... We have returned several times, and I have to write "unfortunately" again today... for our anniversary.... Unlucky because of the bad weather and especially the wind, they had placed us outside (we had booked), no inside seats, only a table for three and we are two😏, we decide to leave, when a waiter or family member takes care of taking a table from the outside and placing us inside.... It's true, in a passageway, but I also had to eat with my jacket on, because it was close to the door and certainly couldn't be closed, given the comings and goings of the waiters... all ok... we understand and adapt... but eating in an hour, just to make us understand that we had to leave to free the passage, absolutely no.... it's not possible to be treated like this, especially considering that the prices are not royals.... Mr. Antonio, we were pleased to see you again, alas with your arm in a sling, but the new generation is not there I liked it... thank goodness the view of Capri and the Faraglioni hasn't changed 🥲at least that

08/05/2026: A must visit! We found this restaurant on the Michelin Bib Gourmand recommendation (the Michelin distinction for high quality food at reasonable prices). We came here twice on our holiday (once for lunch and once for dinner). A lovely, family-run restaurant making absolutely perfect Campania food. The best food we had on our trip to Italy. Worth the trip up the hill (also lovely views nearby). Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Highly recommend the pasta dishes in particular.

07/09/2025: We came in as outsiders for a dip in the pool and also stayed for lunch. We relaxed, had fun, and ate well. It was one of our birthdays, and the waiters immediately made themselves available to help us celebrate, singing a birthday song with us, complete with a candle. The atmosphere was relaxing, professional, and fun. Recommended.

13/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. We arrived for dinner in early May and there was no need to make a reservation. The waiters were very polite and welcomed us nicely. The food was exceptional. Highly recommended!

13/12/2025: An unforgettable evening at Relais Blu On the recommendation of a local lemon farmer, we went to Relais Blu for dinner—and it was well worth it! Chef Sakai Fumiko conjured up an extraordinary fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine that completely delighted us. Giovanni made the evening perfect: with great charm and expertise, he explained historical details about the region and the special features of each ingredient, making the meal an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

08/12/2025: The house appetizer was fresh, grilled and fried to perfection. The first course was ravioli with mushrooms and walnuts, which were simply exquisite. The second course was two Florentine steaks for four people—I don't know how to describe them, but one thing is certain: they take it seriously. The service was kind, expert, and, above all, cheerful. I highly recommend this culinary experience 👍

07/05/2026: We spent two nights at Hotel Villa Lubrense, and loved it! Beautiful room with a beautiful view, a bit away from the busy-ness of the city. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes outside of Sorrento city center (I’d recommend renting a car or taking a taxi from the Sorrento station—it’s a bit challenging to get to from public transport) and only 5 minutes from Massa Lubrense, a small town with quaint shops and a few restaurants. This place gives you a more local, less touristy feel! Service at the hotel was excellent. Staff was helpful in recommending local activities and giving tips. Definitely go for a breakfast-included package—you’ll get a lovely meal with beautiful ocean views. Tino and Fabiola were so wonderful!

07/05/2026: I cannot emphasize how good of a find this was. Clean beautiful property. All the staff was truly amazing, and they were supportive in anything we had requested. We will definitely come back, this is our new favorite vacation spot. Ps. Since there is one main road, rent a scooter or a small car if you want to visit the beautiful area.
