03/11/2024: Posto trovato per caso a Massa Lubrense a pochi Km dal centro di Sorrento… L’idea era uscire fuori da Sorrento per il pranzo, per caso ci siamo imbattuti nel ristorante dello chef Francesco, parcheggio difronte il locale. Che dire abbiamo pranzato divinamente per qualità/prezzo, locale pulito e gentilezza del cameriere Mimmo, lo chef Francesco ci ha accolto preparandoci il pranzo con cucina a vista con ingredienti freschi, di qualità e il tutto preparato al momento. Antipasti di terra e mare sfiziosi I primi un tagliolino con fonduta di caciocavallo, gambero rosso mantecato nella forma di parmigiano flambé al limone Risotto con zucca e provolone del monaco profumato al tartufo Il secondo Tris di entrecote con salsa ai funghi e fonduta di formaggio francese accompagnato da patate al forno I dolci davvero ottimi Consiglio vivamente a chi vuole ritagliarsi un pranzo o una cena appena fuori dal centro di Sorrento pagando il giusto prezzo davanti qualità, cortesia, ambiente e professionalità.

24/10/2024: Tried all the restaurants and by far the best food! Nice touch of modernity added to classic Italian cuisine. Staff also very friendly. Only thing that could be improved is maybe a bit less interruption by the waiter during the meal.

22/10/2024: The food at this restaurant is of exceptionally high quality, locally sourced and is delicious. They obviously have an excellent resident chef, who has written a very informative menu, which adds to your enjoyment of his excellent creations. To make it a 5 star experience the staff need to be trained to provide 5 star service too. We needed to ask for cutlery, salt/pepper etc. (Many guests were helping themselves from the breakfast station)The bread needs to be offered either with oil/butter as it is at outside restaurants, as the prices on the menu reflect an expectation that all of this will be in place.

03/10/2024: Service is fundamental to a good experience while dining out. The food and the view could be exquisite but service, timing and attitude are also very important. Hence, the reason for our rating. We were a party of 6. The food on the most part was very good. But their service and timing was less than ideal. When you dine with a group you want to eat and finish pretty much at the same time. Our friends had ordered the chateaubriand which they said was delicious but cold. Their dish would have benefited by being served on heated plates. My spouse and I had ordered appetizers, grilled octopus and fried calimari which were well presented and delicious. We canceled our main course as it did not arrive and our friends had long finished their dinner. Part of their problem that evening was not having enough waitstaff for the number of customers they had. They had plenty of busboys/gals but only one waiter to take our order, prepare the table side chateaubriand as well as pay attention to all the other customers.

31/10/2024: Beatiful locale, clean rooms, attentive staff and absolutely amazing food. I wish I could visit again. I highly recommend this amazing farmhouse accomodation!

19/10/2024: A dream in Italy! Absolutely fantastic location, we had a room with a view of the sea/Bay of Naples or the lemon grove from the bed. Enjoyed the peace, enjoyed the landscape, enjoyed very good food (vegetarian). Would go back immediately!! For those seeking peace and quiet.

22/03/2025: We spent a week on the Gulf of Naples. We felt very comfortable at this family-run hotel. The food was excellent Italian home cooking. I would love to go back. The rooms were always clean, and the breakfast, with its delicious salami, was a real treat. Thank you, dear family ❤️

12/03/2025: Hotel managed by Mr. Claudio always available for any request. We stayed for 2 nights. Clean and comfortable room and very quiet. From the terrace you can admire a breathtaking landscape with the islands of Capri and Ischia on the horizon. Excellent breakfast with fresh homemade products. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant with local dishes made with the freshest ingredients. The location is strategic for visiting both the Amalfi coast with Positano half an hour away by car, traffic permitting. Sorrento 10 min. The hotel has the possibility of parking in front in a free square. Highly recommended.

25/03/2025: Very disappointing experience regarding the mostly frozen food, except for the clams. The pasta, which arrived after only 10 minutes of us being at the table, was absolutely overcooked. The fish main courses, without specifying what fish it was, were €80 per kilo. Not to mention the wine, a 75 ml bottle of Aglianico cost €40. Furthermore, apart from the rushes to arrive on time, we ate with the worry of having to leave the table to those at the Second round. The parking lots are then a Lotto terno! The only positive note is that you eat on the sea.

20/03/2025: This has been the best meal we’ve had in Italy so far! The seafood is incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and served impressively fast. The calamari was outstanding! We also loved the stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea. Highly recommend this place!

28/09/2024: Sono stato a pranzo in questo ristorante ad agosto 2024, personale gentile e cordiale, antipasto molto ricco, basterebbe quello, pesce fresco di giornata, posto tranquillo e fuori dalla calca,...sicuramente un posto da provare varie volte...sicuramente ci ritornerò.

10/03/2025: Nella wish list da molto, dopo un tour in Costiera decidiamo di pranzare al famosissimo Cantuccio a Nerano. Giornata nuvolosa ma clima mite. Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e garbo dal proprietario (almeno credo lo fosse) che ci ha fatti accomodare in terrazza fronte mare. Ci ha spiegato e consigliato qualche piatto con garbo e competenza. Abbiamo scelto, oltre ad un antipasto della casa, uno spaghetto alla nerano ed un pacchero con rana pescatrice, infine una frittura mista di mare ed un caffè. Porzioni molto generose, credo di aver contato sei pezzi carnosi di rana pescatrice nel piatto cosa che ho apprezzato a differenza di altri posti dove senti solo l'odore, cosi come abbondante è stata la frittura di mare. Alta la qualità del prodotto. Prezzo più che giusto per location, porzioni, freschezza del prodotto e ottimo servizio. Piccolo scivolone il caffè inserito nel conto, avrei apprezzato fosse offerto, come solitamente si fa con i digestivi di fine pasto.

21/10/2024: Mi esposa y yo siempre hemos disfrutado de Ristorante el Mimi, y volver a Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi después de cinco años demostró que el restaurante ha mantenido sus altos estándares tanto en la comida como en el ambiente. El personal de espera es fantástico. Cuando pedí un vino regional, me recomendaron una botella que en realidad era más barata de lo que pretendía comprar, lo que realmente resalta la integridad del personal. Durante nuestra estancia de dos semanas en el Hotel Jaccarino, cenamos en casa de Mimi tres veces, además de innumerables visitas a lo largo de los años. Me alegré mucho de ver los mejillones todavía en el menú, y mi esposa estaba aún más emocionada de encontrar que todavía sirven ñoquis. Habíamos estado hablando de estos dos platos incluso antes de abordar el avión a Nápoles. En el transcurso de nuestras tres comidas, comí mejillones dos veces, un filete principal, y la lasaña más grande conocida por el hombre! Volveremos a Jaccarino el año que viene, y Mimi’s definitivamente estará en nuestra lista de restaurantes para visitar. Recomendaría reservar una mesa con antelación en lugar de simplemente presentarse, y solicitar una mesa externa.

01/10/2024: Pasamos por este restaurante nuestra primera noche en Sant Agata donde estuvimos cinco noches. Desafortunadamente, no tenían ninguna reserva esa noche, así que las hicimos para la noche siguiente y tuvimos una de nuestras mejores comidas en Italia. El servicio fue genial, las recomendaciones de vino buenas y la comida como mencioné maravillosa. En nuestra estancia de 18 días en Italia fue el único restaurante que comimos en más de una ocasión. Se encuentra en una calle lateral de la zona principal.

15/10/2024: We just left and I was so sad to depart. The location is so beautiful. The views from cliffs above the seas, were breathtaking, especially at sunset. The grounds and gardens with sculpted olive trees, gorgeous flowers and walking trails, fresh air was such a relaxing way to enjoy nature. The pictures I got were just stunning. The staff treated us so warmly, before check in communication with Fabiola was great, she greeted us like we were VIP’s having our room ready early and then allowing a late check out to enjoy the resort for the day. We are excited to bring home olive oil from the trees we strolled through. Breakfast was wonderful, a nice Italian breakfast selection, only problem was I had to try everything delicious treat, fortunately all the walking should help make up for it. We had a car so it was nice to drive away from the sorrento crowds to this oasis at the end of the day. We had dinner next door which was wonderful and easy access. The room had all we needed 303, bed was comfortable, magnificent view, AC kept us cool, and heated tile bathroom floor was so nice, tiny shower-but that’s common in Europe, towels were soft.

01/11/2024: Sempre durante lo stesso viaggio , in gruppo, di ritorno dal Vesuvio, avevamo il pranzo prenotato ai Due Golfi Ottima accoglienza, carina, gioviale..... Pranzo buono con prodotti di qualità ma ovviamente essendo stato pattuito con agenzia non ho scelto. In compenso ho apprezzato i prodotti tipici in vendita presso il ristorante e con piacere ho fatto compere e riportato in Toscana un poco di Campania. Quando tornerò a Napoli andrò senz'altro a trovare questi signori che sono stati così accoglienti. Se voi andate prima di me ricordatevi questo indirizzo......... sulle pendici del Vesuvio..........

30/09/2024: Buoni i primi, non giudico i secondi perché non consumati, antipasto di terra composto di sole verdure con mozzarella, luogo accogliente ma scomoda la stradina per arrivarci perché molto stretta con possibilità di parcheggiare, conto molto salato in proporzione alle portate 3 primi, un antipasto per uno, dolce x tre più vino e acqua 144 euro, non credo di ritornare
