13/03/2025: A small hidden corner of Forio where you can still find real local specialties. All according to strict rules in the preparation of traditional Campania products. Quality ingredients, expertly dosed. Perfect workmanship. Once inside you will be pervaded by scents that have now almost disappeared. Very kind and professional staff. Modest prices. I recommend the famous Ischia croissant.

From the moment you park your car/scooter or arrive to the area where La Ruota is located, it feels like a different and more authentic place on the island, full of locals enjoying the last rays of sun, families and older people chatting casually on the street. The food - fantastic! We had to have another portion of the fried anchovies (alici) - they were divine! Generous portions full of flavor and taste, overall, this place is underrated and deserves the best review. Great service too - always ready with a smile and a joke! A
11/02/2025: We didn't know where to eat and they recommended this restaurant to us and I must say that it is excellent, the food is good, the waiters are polite, cordial, gentle, excellent quality and good prices, nothing exaggerated. And I recommend the polpo e patate.

Tasty food, including the Gulf fish fry and the very well cooked tuna. Everything was fresh and tasty. Reasonable prices

08/10/2024: Good location right on the beach, terrace with around 30 seats, even more indoors. Friendly multilingual waiter, unfortunately his colleague seems quite unmotivated. We had Spaghetti alle Vongole, quite a small portion with a few mussels, but for €16 - value for money is not right here.

20/11/2024: Abbiamo provato per la prima volta questa struttura per un pranzo di famiglia, durante il fine settimana. La strada per arrivarci non è certo delle migliori ma una comoda navetta vi porterà fino a destinazione. Precisiamo che abbiamo mangiato benissimo e la qualità era evidente. Tuttavia, c'è stata molta confusione con le ordinazioni perché le attese sono state lunghissime e tavoli anche numerosi arrivati prima di noi hanno mangiato e finito prima del nostro tavolo, pur con piatti uguali.
10/11/2024: Torniamo sempre in questo paradiso e non ci delude mai, atmosfera di famiglia con staff giovane e molto gentile, Cibo squisito con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

24/10/2024: We stayed in this hotel the second week of October and found everything very good.
The hotel enjoys a splendid view of the Citara bay both from the rooms and from the terrace where there is a beautiful swimming pool.
The cuisine is very varied, refined and abundant. All the staff, in addition to being efficient, are very helpful and friendly, creating a family atmosphere.
The hotel is very convenient for traveling by public transport and is located a stone's throw from the splendid Poseidon thermal gardens.
We hope to return to Ischia and stay at the Citara hotel again.
07/10/2024: We stayed from 29.10 to 6.10 as a hotel we had a great time returning to the restaurant very kind Maro the waiter is a very good figure also the other very kind people at the reception Lucia and Concetta were admirably kind thanks to all the staff who work there

14/12/2024: We spent a wonderful holiday here.
Price/performance ratio is still right.
In the evening there was a 4-course menu and a large starter buffet.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient.
The hotel shuttle worked perfectly
Our room had a great view of the sea.
All the staff were friendly and super nice, despite some language problems.
We would love to come back here.

13/11/2024: Abbiamo chiamato Ieri per il servizio D'Asporto questo locale.
Per quanto riguarda i prodotti, nulla da dire, tutto ottimo.
Ma abbiamo prenotato con telefonata senza problemi:
1 Margherita, 1 Ortolona con Salsiccia, 1 Diavola e Porzione di Patatine con bustine di salsa Ketchup e Maionese.
Alla fine al posto dell'ortolana ho ricevuto 1 Pizza bianca con Salsiccia e senza le salse, il Ragazzo delle consegne ha fatto finta di nulla.
Peccato perchè poi il conto viene Pagato per ciò che hai ordinato.
Non posso dire che non chiamerò o andrò più, ma guardo prima altri locali vicini.
15/10/2024: Having hit a couple of restaurants in Ischia and were disappointed by the pizzas and the service we walked into this restaurant and the food was great inexpensive service was amazing the team were lovely if you're looking for a pizza on the island just come here it's not posh the views ain't great but it's just a really nice place
