25/11/2025: We got welcomed even if we got there in low season and without booking. The owners are super friendly and I love how the place is decorated. I ordered Ravioli with rabbit (outside the menu) and they were one of the best meals I had in Italy. Lovely place

A great spot for enjoying generous, family-style portions of quality Italian food. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The service was very good — even though the staff didn’t speak much English, they showed real effort and patience to understand us, which we truly appreciated. It made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.
A wonderful view overlooking the bay made the experience even more special. We sat outside, enjoying the calm, uncrowded atmosphere — perfect for a relaxed meal.

22/09/2025: We had dinner at La Rondinella this evening, guided partly by reviews and partly by intuition, and I have to say it was a wonderful dinner, with those simple flavors that linger. We wanted a good first course, and the pasta and potatoes with seafood was sublime, not to mention the Ischian-style rabbit...an island specialty that deserves to be tried here!
What can I say...we'll be back in Ischia and will definitely stop by again to enjoy these delicious specialties!!

The family atmosphere, cuisine, and service, the friendly staff, the retro decor, and the ever-present but never intrusive cats make the experience more like dining at a friend's house than simply eating in a restaurant. La Forastera is my one-of-a-kind "place of the heart," a business to be protected and supported in every way.
03/10/2025: Authentic and relaxed local restaurant. Everything was really delicious and the view was stunning. We had limoncello and Aperol spritz which were very good.
