05/04/2026: Kresios isn't just a Michelin-starred restaurant: it's an experience conceived with rigor, intelligence, and a strong personal vision. You don't go to Giuseppe Iannotti just to eat well, but to immerse yourself in an unconventional gastronomic tale, crafted with almost engineering-like precision and a rare sensitivity in transforming ingredients into ideas.
Special mention goes to the spaghetti allo scoglio, which alone is worth the trip. It's not the classic seafood dish you might expect: it's a simple, concentrated, almost "distilled" version of seafood. The sea hits the palate directly, deeply, and clearly, with extraordinary intensity yet without heaviness. It's a dish that achieves something rare: being simultaneously sophisticated and immediate.
The service, pace, and overall experience live up to the restaurant's reputation: everything contributes to the feeling of being in a unique place, where nothing is left to chance.
Kresios is one of those places you never forget: authentic, bold, and distinctive signature cuisine.
15/02/2026: We purchased a gift card for this Michelin-starred restaurant, paying the full price for the tasting menu, just like any other customer.
When we booked, however, we discovered that gift card holders are not allowed to book on Sundays, while the website states that standard reservations are available from Monday to Sunday without any restrictions.
This restriction wasn't clearly stated at the time of purchase. If it had been, we would never have purchased the gift card: we would have simply booked and paid for the dinner as usual.
This isn't a promotion or a discount. The price is identical. Yet the treatment is different. A real injustice.
When we requested a refund, citing a lack of transparency, we were (naturally) told that "something can be agreed upon." A perplexing response: previously, Sundays weren't allowed for gift card holders, but now suddenly it's negotiable.
A restaurant of this caliber should stand out for its fairness, clarity, and consistency, not for policies that change after the payment has been made.
At the moment, we don't even know if we'll be taking the tasting tour, because the experience has already been compromised before it even begins. This review, in fact, isn't about the food—which we haven't tried yet—but exclusively about the management and transparency towards those who purchase a gift card.
I urge anyone considering purchasing a gift card to carefully read the actual terms and conditions.

03/05/2026: Fantastic experience! We celebrated our son's wedding in this intimate and welcoming location surrounded by the greenery of the Telesina Valley. We were blown away by everything. The quality of the dishes, with attention to every detail, the kind and professional staff, and the family-run management are evident in the attention to detail. Fausto and Cristina, you were fantastic!!... We'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: A very disappointing experience. The only good thing was the platter; everything else was terrible.
We ordered two first courses, and after over a half-hour wait, the pasta arrived completely raw and inedible. We sent them back to have them remade, but they came back exactly the same: still raw, so much so that the pasta stuck between our teeth. So we left everything on our plate.
When it came time to get the bill, the person behind the counter, presumably the manager, didn't even apologize for what happened. No attention to the customer, no gesture to make amends, just a completely useless €2 discount.
Furthermore, we were presented with an incorrect bill, with items we never ordered, charging us about €6 more. We realized this later and had to return.
A negative experience from every perspective. We won't be returning.

12/05/2026: The idea isn't new, but it always makes an impression. Umberto and Antonella offer something different and interesting: pizzas made with sulphurous water, truly delicious. We chose a calzone and an ortolana. But there's so much more. The atmosphere is unique, as is the opportunity to sample carefully prepared local dishes paired with excellent wines, presented by Antonella herself, who is also a renowned sommelier.
Recommended for refined palates and those who appreciate authenticity.

07/05/2026: A casual yet very welcoming pizzeria with a spacious dining area. I found everything to be excellent: both the pizza and the fried foods were tasty and well-prepared. The draft beers were also excellent, perfect for accompanying dinner. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent, considering the quality and quantity. Recommended for a quiet evening with excellent food.
03/05/2026: My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant on May 3, 2026. We ordered a first course, an extra drink each, a bottle of water, and two liqueurs, and spent €35. It was absolutely excellent value for money. For my first course, I ordered tagliatelle with wild boar ragù. I felt like I was having lunch at my grandmother's house, warmed up inside. It was a truly delicious dish, starting with the homemade pasta with game ragù, which was truly well-prepared.
I highly recommend this place, especially for the very polite and friendly staff.
If you're in Telese, you absolutely must eat here.

07/05/2026: An elegant and refined venue, perfect for both a quiet dinner and an evening with friends. The pizza is served at your table and is truly excellent, as is everything else on the menu. The draft beers are also very good, with an interesting selection. Friendly service and absolutely excellent value. A very positive experience, I'll gladly return!

Shimi - Sushi Experience

10/09/2025: The place is cute and really comfortable. It's spotlessly clean, as is the kindness of the staff. The fish is fresh and the sushi is good. I also really enjoyed the wine. That said, I have to say there are a few things that didn't convince me, and I hope the three stars motivate the staff to do better. I'll also explain why:
1) I think keeping an eye on the tables is definitely better than making customers get up every time they need something.
2) In a mixed raw seafood platter, you can't serve shrimp without removing the intestine string (a serious flaw).
3) The pasta dishes lacked that burst of flavor; a well-made shrimp bisque really makes your taste buds soar, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.
I'll stop here and hope these three points are constructive criticism to help them do better.
Prices would be in line with what they'd expected if everything had been perfect.
Guys, you can do better...!!!

We sat down this evening around 9 pm. There were about 5 tables inside and outside, so my sister, my friend, and the dog sat down... we had to wait 10 minutes just to get the menu because there was a guy who was probably a novice, unfortunately, there's a girl inside who was doing the rest, taking orders, cashiering, etc. Nothing to complain about. I've also been a waitress and a bartender, I know what that means, but this kind of discussion is only possible when you have 300 people to manage, not 10 in total... but whatever...
After she brought us the menu,
I immediately asked the lady if she could at least bring us drinks without having to order sandwiches or anything else. She replied, "Just a minute, I'll take your order inside and be right there." She never showed up, and honestly, after 15 minutes, we decided to leave... why should water be the first thing you ask a customer to do after a hot day like today, when it was 40 degrees! Also, with a 10-year-old girl at the table and a dog, at least the water should have been brought right away; the food would have come later. But oh well, looking at the menu, we didn't even like it. The prices were very high for the quality, and honestly, very little choice.
Terrible.
19/05/2026: I returned to this sandwich shop, where I'd been before, intrigued by the new management and some positive comments from friends. I came away completely satisfied: high-quality ingredients, excellent beer, and impeccable service. I tried a double smash burger (the Orazio), which I polished off in a few minutes; it was so good, I was ecstatic. To avoid overdoing it and try another, I went for the fried food (bandidos and onion rings), which were truly delicious. All washed down with an excellent draft beer. Congratulations! Highly recommended. Rating: 10.

20/08/2025: Passing through the beautiful Campana town of Telese Terme, with local friends we stopped for an aperitif at the Lux Bar. The location was very welcoming, as were the service staff. We ordered several types of stuffed focaccias. Excellent quality ingredients, good packaging, and excellent service. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. The only negative note is that I would recommend keeping the prices down a bit, but it's definitely worth repeating. 👌🏽

02/02/2026: This supermarket's weak point, unfortunately, is its staff, mostly lazy and rude, especially at the checkout. They have no courtesy or kindness, nor do they know how to greet or thank a customer. If the customer does, they don't even respond. They often chat among themselves from one checkout to the next while they work, which causes enormous annoyance to the customer, who feels they're receiving little attention.
Today, all the self-checkouts were out of order, while only one non-self-checkout had a long line of customers. I see a clerk wandering near a checkout, so I politely ask if she's opening. She aggressively tells me I need to give her time to get ready. Resigned, I continue waiting in line and, after five minutes, I catch her having a pleasant conversation with a colleague near the promotions counter. I'm sorry to say, but this supermarket lacks a professional who knows how to manage the staff. Everyone does what they want... as always, only those with a sense of duty know how to manage themselves.
