13/09/2025: Delicious pizza, light and crispy at the same time, nothing like those "rubbery" pizzas that they call "Neapolitan" and then rise in your stomach and you digest them the next afternoon!! The food is also good. Courtesy and kindness. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, this is the right place.
15/06/2025: My boyfriend and I have been frequenting this restaurant often for a long time. The atmosphere is quiet, there are always few people and I don't mind, the owners are very kind and helpful. However, the overall experience did not fully satisfy us. Lately it has not been pleasant anymore. For a place setting with a paper placemat, €4 seems a bit excessive to me. The portions were rather small compared to the asking price, which at the end of the meal turned out to be quite high in relation to what we actually ate. Unfortunately, the quality-price ratio did not live up to expectations. A shame, because with a few more adjustments on the quantity and cost, the experience could have been decidedly better.

13/09/2025: I had the pleasure of trying this Italian restaurant, and I have to say the fresh pasta is definitely the highlight. The gnocchi with cherry tomatoes were truly delicious, well-made, and served with a simple yet flavorful sauce. The ravioli with swordfish sauce were also a pleasant surprise: well-seasoned, with a balanced filling and a sauce that enhanced the dish without overpowering its flavors. On the slightly less positive note, the fried calamari were edible, but nothing special. The calamari were slightly sticky and lacked the crispiness you expect from a good fried dish. Overall, a good experience. With a little more attention, this could become a truly excellent place.
21/08/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant. Superlative first courses. It's a shame they didn't offer a raw fish appetizer; perhaps ask for it when you book, but unfortunately I didn't. The place is also welcoming and well-maintained. I recommend it.

06/09/2025: One of the best bakeries in town. The pizza in the evening is highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the food is excellent. Treating yourself to a pizza here is a highlight every year. :)
24/08/2025: The pizza is truly excellent, with expertly crafted dough and classic toppings that enhance its quality. Overall, it's an excellent pan pizza. To enjoy it fresh from the oven, I recommend ordering it. Alternatively, if you're in a hurry, the one on display is equally delicious when lightly reheated in the oven. They also offer a few rotisserie specialties, including a delicious topped pizza. I've been frequenting this place for three years every time I'm in the area, and so far it has always lived up to expectations. A great choice for a takeout pizza to share with friends!

08/03/2026: Today, March 8, 2026, two people for €59.50. Nice place and decent service. The problem? The price and quality of the food. €19 for 6 bruschettas, embarrassing to say the least. Ten paccheri that tasted only of salt, and a scialatiello so raw that if thrown at someone's head, it would have caused a brain injury. I understand that these are the costs these days, and if you decide to go out for lunch, you have to take that into account. But absolutely not like this. I repeat, €19 for 6 bruschettas.
11/01/2026: Takeout mixed fried fish for me: calamari, shrimp, and a few octopus. I've attached a photo. Minimum quantity, maximum price: €20. Shrimp soaked in oil and with a dry, stringy texture, not juicy. Too much salt. First and last time, goodbye.

19/08/2025: The owner (I assume), manager, pizza chef, chef, and, in short, Deus Ex Machina Raffaele deserves 5 stars for his helpfulness and the kindness he exudes from every pore. In my opinion, it's impossible to argue with someone like him. I have many Calabrian friends and acquaintances, but he's one of a kind. A visit to his culinary "laboratory" is worth a visit just for the pleasure of meeting him. My family and I were returning from a trip to Tropea and Pizzo, two pearls of Calabria's Tyrrhenian coast that have nothing to envy of the Sorrento peninsula (I'd almost say "quite the opposite"). We were hungry, however, and we could have eaten and digested stones. That said, we wanted pizza, and while we waited, he offered us some fried calamari, made with clean oil and quite tasty. Then the pizzas arrived. I'm not judging these because I'm Neapolitan and these pizzas are not, so there's no point in trying to be a sophist. If you're in Amantea and order a pizza, you can eat it and keep quiet. Afterwards, he offered us some ravioli filled with "seafood" and topped with a nice prawn. If they had been hot and the sauce thinner, I wouldn't hesitate to call them as stratospheric as dear Raffaele said. After a very honest bill, he offered us coffee. In conclusion, the atmosphere isn't appealing, but there's outdoor seating, in the pizzeria, and in the restaurant. The cooking is influenced by the fact that Raffaele does everything himself, with the help, I believe, of his children—many young, well-mannered people. I've described the place as a "workshop" because it has the potential to grow, and I wish it the best of luck. Perhaps if Antonino Cannavacciuolo were to come by, he'd know how to guide him. One thing's for sure: I'll be back. And if you go and find the food isn't good, or even too good, I urge you to be more tolerant; Raffaele deserves it. Last but not least: the name of the place would normally scare me away, but he likes it, so be it.

Ristorante pizzeria L'incrocio

12/09/2025: We went for dinner two nights in a row. The first night, we ordered two pizzas. The second night, we ordered a plate of seafood pasta, which was good, and a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms, which I wasn't happy with because, upon eating it, I immediately realized it was frozen food from the "quattro salti in padella" brand. If this is the treatment, I don't think we'll be back.
07/08/2025: Although the food was good, the owner and staff were an absolute disaster. I ordered a meal and one drink – a 1-liter bottle of cola. The waiter brought a smaller one, so I pointed it out, and he exchanged it for the one I had ordered. But when it came time to pay, I discovered that the bill was too high. I went to the staff to ask them to correct the mistake, but no one spoke English. I tried to communicate using a translator on my phone, but the owner completely ignored it. He said the cola had been ordered and opened (by the waiter), so I had to pay for it. I tried to explain that it wasn’t fair, but he didn’t listen to me at all. In the end, he rudely told me that since I was in Italy, I should speak Italian, not English. In my opinion, this was totally inappropriate, and the owner was very aggressive – he made rude gestures and spoke to us in a disrespectful way. One thing is certain – I will never go back there again

17/10/2025: Unfortunately, I don't know if it was because we happened to be there during the All Souls' Day festival, but I can't share the stars others have given. It was chaotic with people, noisy children, confusing service, though prompt. The food was decent but nothing special. The place was barely adequate.
22/08/2025: As soon as we ordered, we waited at least an hour for just a few items, and having had restaurant experience, I'd say two waiters are too few for the number of people, and they don't listen to what's being asked of them. After eating, I ordered fries, which after an hour and a half still hadn't arrived, so my friends and I got up and went to pay, making the waitresses feel guilty when they said, "I hadn't sent the order to the kitchen," about the fries. The food was at least decent, but the service was terrible.
