26/04/2025: Dopo una rilassante passeggiata sul lungomare di Amantea, luogo ricco di fascino e storia, siamo approdati alla Pizzeria Canossa City, un locale dal carattere semplice e autentico nel cuore del paese. Appena entrati, ci ha colpito l’atmosfera calda e accogliente. Il personale, sempre sorridente, ci ha messi subito a nostro agio presentandoci il menù. La pizza Ortolana si è rivelata un perfetto connubio di verdure grigliate – zucchine, melanzane e peperoni – adagiate su una base di pomodoro fresco: l’impasto, ben lievitato e cotto nel forno a legna, presentava un cornicione scarso ma croccante, lievemente bruciacchiato al punto giusto. Il sapore delle verdure è rimasto vivo e asciutto, mantenendo intatta la loro freschezza. Con la Capricciosa abbiamo assaporato un mix classico e rassicurante: funghi, carciofi, olive verdi e prosciutto cotto, tutti ingredienti di prima scelta. L’armonia tra il dolce del pomodoro e il leggero salato del prosciutto ha reso ogni boccone pieno e ben bilanciato. Per accompagnare le pizze, abbiamo scelto una bottiglia di acqua naturale e una Coca-Cola, ideali per rinfrescare il palato senza appesantire. Il conto è risultato adeguato alla qualità delle materie prime e alla genuina lavorazione artigianale: un ottimo compromesso tra gusto e prezzo. In conclusione, la Pizzeria Canossa City si conferma un indirizzo di fiducia per chi desidera una pizza autentica in un contesto informale, perfetta dopo una giornata al mare o per una serata tra amici.

29/04/2025: We were there for the first time on Easter Monday and I was very worried, as the fixed menus on these days are often a rip-off... but I had to change my mind! Excellent food except the peppered pepper..excellent raw 🥰 good wine also table service. Nice and welcoming owner and clean place. We will be back soon ☺️

28/04/2025: We are now at pure madness in Calabria, decent products at 5-star prices. For goodness sake the food in this restaurant is good and the waiters are very kind. But €20, 25 grains of mezze sleeves (which must have been paccheri) and 1 fresh L3 prawn seems excessive to me. A can of coke €3, that is, I don't see the reason for such an excessive mark-up, also because in Venice the prices are lower on average.. Get a grip.

09/05/2025: On the way along the sea to the train station, I smelled a wonderful smell of grilled fish. I had to follow this and was able to indulge my appetite here. The mixed fried platter was very good and just right for a small appetite. The price was very reasonable. The service quick. I can recommend the restaurant.

28/04/2025: We stayed here on April 25th. There was the fixed menu option: 45 euros per person excluding drinks: starter, first course, second course, coffee and dessert. I must say everything was plentiful and delicious. The pasta with aubergines and swordfish is excellent, as is the fried food. The location is beautiful, a few steps from some rocks on the beach. Service was a little slow but there were a lot of people and all in all it was pleasant.
