28/05/2026: The setting is lovely, right across from the harbor. However, I ordered lasagna which arrived dry and tasteless. There weren't many fried foods on the plates, so you're still hungry afterward. On the other hand, the pizzas are good.

10/06/2026: Nice atmosphere and attentive service. The food is good, but more theatrical in its name than in its flavor. We tried the skewer, the eggplant parmigiana, and the friggitelli/green chili peppers served with the whole stem were awkward to eat. The portions were too small.

08/06/2026: The staff is very friendly. We always had breakfast here during our vacation. They're very helpful and extremely friendly.

07/03/2026: The food was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant, but there was some confusion at checkout because another table mistakenly paid our bill, 15 euros less. The staff was friendly, but they weren't very forthcoming in handling the mix-up and resolving the situation. The end result: they charged us a 10 euro cover charge, which isn't included or indicated on the menu!

28/09/2025: Given the limited selection, we opt for this place, which appears more youthful than the others. We order a beer and a half-glass cocktail (without the ice, the quantity was the size of a crodino...). As appetizers, they throw a small packet of taralli and a packet of chips on the table. If only they'd even issued a receipt... huh!!???

03/07/2026: Simple but welcoming restaurant My husband and I are on vacation in Acquafredda Maratea and we ate at this restaurant one evening. Very good food, fresh fish, definitely recommended.

02/07/2026: A quiet restaurant with a lovely outdoor area where summer evenings are a delight. The menu offers a good selection of both fish and meat dishes. The tagliolini alla Peppe, with seafood, shrimp, and baby octopus in a red and yellow cherry tomato sauce, is highly recommended: it's impossible to resist mopping up the bread, especially the delicious Cilento bread! The new citron-flavored scialatelli with seafood are also delicious, as are the simple tortelli with ricotta and a fresh tomato sauce. Unfortunately, pizza is not available this summer (2026). Among the desserts, the Annurca apple baba from the "I Marigliano" pastry shop stands out; avoid the sorbets: they're mass-produced. Generous portions and affordable prices, for all budgets. Bring mosquito repellent...

06/04/2026: A bit disorganized with the servings, the wait was a bit long between courses, and the portions, in my opinion, were a bit small. Some dishes were overpriced, and the staff forgot about dishes ordered, meaning everyone couldn't eat at the same time.

21/10/2025: Gelato with a sea view. Excellent, made with high-quality ingredients. The Maratea harbor, overlooked by the statue of Christ, provides the backdrop. Also recommended for celiacs. Friendly staff.

24/05/2026: The sandwiches are good, but the service is astonishing. The person who greeted us (I don't know if he's the owner) seemed almost annoyed when we asked for a table. The girl who came to take our order did the same. Smiling is out of the question here. The highlight was when my partner tried to go to the bathroom and the gentleman from before yelled, "Can't you see it's busy?" Speechless.

01/06/2026: A peaceful haven in Maratea Found it by chance while strolling through the center. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. Excellent food quality and generous portions!

26/06/2026: A lovely restaurant in the center of Maratea. Excellent food; I recommend the pasta dishes and the caciocavallo. Outdoor seating is available. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good value.

16/06/2026: Terrible experience, dishes didn't match the menu and the ingredients were low-quality. The first courses arrived cold and without seasoning, and the second courses were poorly executed and garnished with burnt fried cruschi peppers. Not recommended!
