27/08/2025: My family and I went to have breakfast at 10 in the morning. The waitresses are very kind. The food is very good and of good quality. The price is fair. I recommend it for a good breakfast.

29/08/2025: Just one question: what kind of pasta do you use? I've never had anything so tasteless and inconsistent. A terrible experience, saved only by the smile of the girl serving. Even the desserts lacked the only one I would have liked. We were speechless, but also full of smoke, since customers are allowed to smoke at the tables.

26/09/2025: We had swordfish and a variety of pizza's and tiramisu for desert The serving was excellent and one of the waitresses called Marianna came with nice tips on what to add extra ingredients on the pizzas to make them extra special and unique. The fish was excellent and the tiramisu had a nice spin on it that you really need to check out for yourself. If you want authentic Italian food made with love come to this place. If you think mcdonalds is a nice substitute for food go to the restaurant 50 meters to the left.

21/09/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ We booked a table for 1:30 PM and arrived promptly at 1:20 PM. Total chaos immediately upon entry: a waiter sent me inside, and inside they sent me back out. A ridiculous rebound that showed the disorganization of the place. We sat down, but we only managed to order at 2:20 PM, after an hour of waiting, while tables that arrived 45 minutes after us were already being served. At 2:47 PM, I called the waiter back to report that nothing had arrived yet, and he replied: "We have our own schedule. If you wanted to eat right away, you could go to a fast food restaurant." Shortly afterward, he showed up with our dishes, laughing and saying: "Here you go, we made it." A total joke. As if that weren't enough, the pasta with clams was clearly prepared in a hurry: bland, tasteless, truly disappointing. Slow service, rude staff, subpar dishes. A place that ruins Maratea's image. I will never return and I strongly advise against it.

02/10/2025: So I have a rented apartment here and unfortunately the city is small and I went back to eat at Yumara again, we will never go back there again, especially up all the stairs to have the slow and messy service, the lady at the bar tries again and yet she understood that we had returned but with our women even wandering around with some bitters, our women got up and left

13/09/2025: I came on Wednesday evening with my boyfriend. The service is disorganized, inattentive, and indifferent. The only good thing about this place is the view. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have given it a single star.

29/08/2025: Although we reserved with days in advance we were asked to wait for more than 20 minutes until they cleared the table. The service was lacking, the waitress and owner rude making unfortunate expressions and remarks and therefore caused the experience to be less than agreeable. The food overpriced for what is offered and made us wait for over than an hour.

10/10/2025: We didn't like it, we were not impressed with the quality of the food. The service was normal.

09/08/2025: Very negative experience for me, we are numbers for them but not refugees. Everything you see in the photos did not match the reservation, the lady did not show up on arrival but only by telephone, attic, so low that I banged my head continuously, small window, very narrow bathroom without window and without ventilator and what's more it was not specified to me that breakfast would be outside at the bar far away saying, only a cappuccino and croissant, I had to make the coffee myself, truly mean, I do not recommend it to anyone.

02/08/2025: I stay here every year for the holidays and it's always a pleasure to return. The B&B is equipped with every comfort and is strategically located right in Maratea's main square. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is also highly recommended (excellent pizza).

09/09/2025: We came all the way here for nothing. Tuesday, September 9th, 10:55 PM, the shop was already inexplicably closed.

15/09/2025: Passing through Maratea, we decided to stop at this little place selling traditional products. I must say I was very impressed both with the products I ate (delicious) and with the intimate atmosphere in a small piazza decorated with photos. The owner is a very honest person who lets you try his products without overcharging or being intrusive.

24/08/2025: I dreamed of a typical sandwich, perhaps with a touch of Lucanian tradition and a friendly smile. Instead, I found a masterpiece of coldness, seasoned with rudeness and stuffed with condescendingness. The owners? A textbook duo: zero empathy, courtesy on sale (sold out), and plenty of rudeness. The sandwich looked like it came from a refrigerator on strike, but at least it was consistent with the atmosphere: cold, hasty, hostile. A place like this should only be visited to test your own zen limits. But if you prefer to eat in peace... follow your instincts and cross the street.

31/08/2025: I've been there several times, but each time the lady hasn't been very friendly, rather grumpy. The price list at the entrance isn't up to date, so you have to add a minimum of €1 to each pizza—surprise! I'll give the girls at the cash register 5 stars.

18/08/2025: A wonderful discovery! Rich, tasty, and piping hot takeout pizzas. The Gorgo & Pere pizza is superb! The girls are incredibly kind and take great care in the quality of the food and delivery (they do everything they can to deliver the pizza hot, even to those who are late). We'll definitely be back.
