Simple but welcoming restaurant My husband and I are on vacation in Acquafredda Maratea and we ate at this restaurant one evening. Very good food, fresh fish, definitely recommended.

The food quality and value for money are good. The service is somewhat inconsistent. Overall, it's okay if you're willing to accept the local customs.

A quiet restaurant with a lovely outdoor area where summer evenings are a delight. The menu offers a good selection of both fish and meat dishes. The tagliolini alla Peppe, with seafood, shrimp, and baby octopus in a red and yellow cherry tomato sauce, is highly recommended: it's impossible to resist mopping up the bread, especially the delicious Cilento bread! The new citron-flavored scialatelli with seafood are also delicious, as are the simple tortelli with ricotta and a fresh tomato sauce. Unfortunately, pizza is not available this summer (2026). Among the desserts, the Annurca apple baba from the "I Marigliano" pastry shop stands out; avoid the sorbets: they're mass-produced. Generous portions and affordable prices, for all budgets. Decent restaurant under a leafy portico. Good menu selection. Prices are in line with local prices. In Acquafredda, far from places where you can walk.
