20/01/2026: A truly pleasant experience. The place is well-kept and welcoming. Ms. Antonella welcomed us warmly and attentively without being intrusive. We tried the appetizer of mortadella and focaccia, the braised pork, and finally the tiramisu (I've attached photos that will speak for themselves 🤤). I really appreciated the quality of the ingredients. Excellent balance of flavors and adequate portions. Ms. Antonella, while we waited for our dishes, delighted us with seeded bread and homemade taralli, truly delicious. A restaurant I recommend and will gladly return to.

04/02/2026: A very small but wonderful restaurant. The meat sushi is truly excellent, as are the entrees. The kitchen is open to the public, and it's wonderful to watch them work. Reservations are recommended due to limited seating. I have to say, it's a shame we didn't go there sooner. We'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: An intimate restaurant in the heart of Corato. Open kitchen, attentive service, and quality ingredients are the key features that make us always happy to return. Today we tried a gem on the menu: spaghetti all'assassina di rape with black olive cream and canestrato cheese. It was delicious! Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: We highly recommend it for the cuts of meat, which are truly excellent and perfectly cooked. The pizzas and appetizers are also very good. In fact, some photos are recent, others are less so, as I want to reiterate my review and the fact that we enjoyed our stay at this pizzeria/grill. The prices are always reasonable, and the staff is always polite and prompt. The location is small but very well-kept.

24/11/2025: Service a bit slow. The meat was overcooked, and I wouldn't call it arrosticini. Price was over €30.00 per person.

09/01/2026: A well-known local grill restaurant, located in a small village in the Puglia hinterland. High-quality meats are available from the counter, still uncooked, with a wide variety of ingredients. Outdoor seating is provided within a beautiful brick enclosure. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a high-end grill restaurant. The only downside is the higher price than the average grill restaurant in the area.

12/02/2026: We visited Giacuda Braceria in Palo del Colle and had a truly excellent experience. We started with a selection of spectacular raw fish: the freshest beef carpaccio topped with arugula, parmesan shavings, and a drizzle of olive oil that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. Tender and superior quality. The pancetta served with warm crostini was also excellent, a simple yet perfectly executed combination. We then moved on to the grill... and that's where it really takes things to the next level. Mixed cuts masterfully cooked, juicy, tender meat with that light crust that only a well-done grill can provide. Precise cooking, intense flavor, and top-quality ingredients. A side dish of roasted potatoes, golden on the outside and soft on the inside, well-seasoned and not at all greasy. The involtini were also worthy of applause, flavorful and well-balanced. Welcoming place, warm atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. Absolutely fair value for what you get. For those who love authentic grilled meat in the area, this is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

25/10/2025: Shameful!!!! Terrible service!!! We were literally kicked out after paying an exorbitant bill and not eating anything. If you're in Gioia del Colle, don't stop at Mastrovito.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had a less than satisfactory evening. From the truly excessive bill to the service. Their two-seater system, designed to increase their earnings, is inconvenient for those who arrive early. You have to hurry, and you end up eating with the people waiting in the dining room next to your table. I personally don't recommend it; there are other butcher shops that are less impressive and very good.

15/01/2026: I'd like to express my immense gratitude to La Tradizione - Fornello Pugliese. We came from Warsaw to meet our Italian family, and although we've visited many places, this one will forever remain in our hearts! The quality of the meat is incredible! Nothing in the truffle tartare covered the authentic flavor of the raw material. The steaks were served exactly as we requested. The portions are incredibly generous... When they brought us the veal strips with arugula, I was amazed by the size of the plate... Lemon was the only thing I wanted to add to that work of art, and it was already there on the plate! Honestly, when the truffle meatballs arrived, I was already on edge... but of course I had to try that masterpiece. Like everything else: phenomenal! Excellent beer and quality white and rosé wines. We ended the evening with dessert. I don't even remember what we ordered exactly, but I'm sure any of their desserts are 10/10! A special thanks goes to the staff. The waiters and the guys at the meat counter were incredibly kind. They treated us like old friends! Thank you so much. When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely come visit you! 13/01/2026: I really would have liked to give much more, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to my expectations. The quality of the meat is unquestionable; it's incredibly fresh, excellent, and there's a wide selection. I tried the raw sausage and really enjoyed it. The service was perfect, attentive, warm, and friendly. We spoke at length with the waiters and the owner, and they were delightful people. Everything took a long time, however, so much so that we had already finished all our drinks with the dishes still to come, and the wait wasn't very pleasant. Above all, they were a bit sloppy with the cooking methods: some were too undercooked, others (for me, most) too overcooked, which made the excellent meat a bit too tough. Some of the meatballs, like the lime one, had a really bad flavor. And I didn't like the strips at all; they were greasy and fried in very heavy oil. The appetizers (or side dishes, depending on the dish), which were basically excellent, with simple and delicious local produce, were prepared in advance, and the garlic and vinegar covered everything. Ultimately, the flavors of the quality ingredients were ruined. Three stars for a place that could potentially be worthy of ten is a real shame. I don't know, I'd be curious to return for a second chance; maybe I just had a bad night.

The tables are simple yet elegant, and each dish showcases tradition with a touch of passion. The sausage is a poem of flavors, the typical meat and potato dishes are authentic and irresistible. The wine pairs elegantly with everything, while the smiling and friendly staff makes you feel right at home. The cured meats, all strictly homemade, add character and authenticity. An experience that is not just about food, but an encounter with the true soul of Locorotondo. A discovery that warms the heart and the palate.

02/01/2026: A wonderful experience! A vast selection of dishes, starting with the appetizers. The first courses offered for New Year's Eve lunch were excellent, and the bombette were truly delicious. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: The food is good. Really good. It's a shame about the service, which was slow, very slow. We waited over 45 minutes for our dinner, and we dined at 11:15 PM (with a 9:45 PM reservation). Maybe it's a Saturday, so it's more difficult. It's a shame. But I'll definitely be back.
