20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre. The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.

18/05/2026: The lady who welcomed us was very kind and welcoming. The octopus with zucchini alla poverella was truly delicious. 🔝 Excellent experience.

16/08/2026: One of the best dining experiences we’ve had across Italy, from dozens we have had in the past through the years. The meat was exceptionally fresh and tender, the butcher was really helpful and warm, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. It’s perfect for visitors who like authentic experiences outside mainstream tourist areas and attractions, find joy in simplicity and feeling like one of the locals. Despite the language barrier, our experience was lovely and we will be returning in the future.

16/08/2026: A very warm welcome with a smile. It's a very friendly family who run the butcher shop/restaurant, which cooks the meat we chose ourselves. The meat is tender, excellent, and high quality. Many reviews mention a long wait—but that's normal! It's a butcher shop that grills the meat you're about to eat, and the restaurant is large! So, naturally, you have to be patient, but the meat is definitely worth the wait. Special mention goes to the ribeye steak, the Black Angus, and the excellent pork chop. Our server was very friendly too.

05/07/2026: The food is good, but the portions are really small. I could easily eat two uramaki at a time for the meat sushi, and the carbonara probably had 60-70 grams of pasta. I could have finished it with two forkfuls. As for the quality/price ratio, I don't recommend it. It's better to go for the meat, which at least is paid by weight.

24/07/2026: An excellent experience at this grill restaurant! The quality of the meat is truly remarkable; it melted in your mouth. Each course was rich in flavor, and the generous portions completely satisfied us. The quality-price ratio is absolutely in line with what's on offer—a real bargain. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an excellent culinary experience. A top recommendation!

24/08/2026: An elegant place with friendly service. A varied, interesting menu. I had grilled octopus with broad bean puree on turnip nests. I also had a local beer. The first main course was interesting: pork knuckle with potatoes. As soon as we were seated, the staff placed a small glass of wine on the table. There were a lot of Italian customers. We seemed to be the only foreigners.

11/08/2026: What a spectacle!! I'll start with the key point: the quality-price ratio is perfect. Mind you! Not cheap, but perfect. To achieve this, nothing needs to change. You choose your meat at the fresh counter and have it cooked. The service is impeccable, with regard to order, the order of arrival, and the cooking. The stairs to the upper floor are steep, not easy for those with mobility issues. The staff is friendly and able to manage the dining room even with a large number of people. The price, I repeat, is excellent for the quality, but if it were a little more or a little less expensive, there would be something wrong. The desserts are delicious, the wine is acceptable, but I've seen better. The entrance, where you choose your meat and pay, isn't very convenient. A bit confusing and sometimes crowded. Overall, 10 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

11/08/2026: This butcher's shop also serves food just outside the center of Locorotondo. Choose the type and cut of meat you want at the counter. The quality of the meat is top-notch. The prices are reasonable, and you eat a lot. You'll leave feeling full and happy.
