14/11/2025: A typical trattoria near the Fondazione Prada, I had lunch here by chance with some colleagues. What can I say? The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, as is the excellent service. Everything on the menu is inviting, but then there's the star: the unexpected gorgonzola and leek pizza. Toward the end of the meal, we see it ubiquitous on every table; the host approaches us and tells us he'll make it on the fly if we want. How could I say no? I assure you, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Congratulations!
21/10/2025: Upon entering Taverna Calabiana, you immediately feel welcome. The warm welcome and the restaurant's most beautiful table set the tone for a wonderful evening. Although we don't speak Italian, that wasn't a problem at all—the menu is available in several languages, and the staff takes the time to carefully explain everything.
What truly stands out is the passion for the craft. This radiates not only from the team but also in every dish. The chef deserves a deep bow—each plate was a small work of art, bursting with flavor, warmth, and passion.
We were simply enchanted by the dishes and the atmosphere. Taverna Calabiana isn't just a recommendation… it's an experience you'll remember.

27/11/2025: The atmosphere and service (the staff were friendly and smiling) were top-notch.
Unfortunately, overall I can't give it more than 2 stars. Would I recommend it? No!
Small portions and exorbitant prices.
I'll describe what we had for dinner for three:
3 tartare bites (4 mini tartares the size of Bacio Perugina)
1 mini tartare burger
3 fillets (really small)
1 dessert
3 coffees
A bottle of red for €34
Total €86 per person
Again: the service and atmosphere were top-notch, but I would never return.
26/11/2025: The meat was good, but the prices were exorbitant. The star chef's cake was dry and a few days old, costing 10 euros. I even sent it back, but it was still found on the receipt. I won't be going back.

07/11/2025: Superlative dinner! The charcuterie board and burrata were incredibly fresh and top-quality. The Fiorentina steak was a triumph: perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, one of the best I've ever eaten. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good meat. We'll be back soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They also take care of the gluten-free options.

13/09/2025: I was there about four years ago, and I had fond memories. The burgers are good now, but they've reduced their size considerably. The wait time, considering there were hardly anyone there, was excessive; we waited about 35 minutes. On top of that, they charge €1.80 per person for the service... I don't quite understand this overly condescending concept... They serve you very seriously, and the service should be included in the menu price...

10/12/2025: Lunch break with an hour to spare, few customers, and a 33-minute wait for my food.
During the 33-minute wait, the tables next to me were still dirty from when I sat down.
Such a long wait is unthinkable, especially during a lunch break.
Never again!!!

09/12/2025: Wow, wow! This is one of those restaurants I'll never forget. My family and I came all the way from Milan specifically for this restaurant, and we were surprised to find it was inside the mall... but the dining experience was more than wonderful.
09/12/2025: I've had better meals at other OWW restaurants in the area (Olgiate, Gerenzano, Tradate), but overall, it's not bad. The atmosphere is unique with the dimmed lights, and the wait times are reasonable during the week.

09/12/2025: December 8, 2025 - I'd like to point out that I called earlier to make a reservation and ask if they had a gluten-free option on the menu. I was told that a gluten-free option was available, but that I couldn't make a reservation because they didn't take reservations.
When we arrived at the restaurant and were seated, the employee was informed of the intolerance at the table. She then informed us that there were no longer any gluten-free sandwiches available for dinner.

The bathroom is clean and tidy.
The waitress who served our table is nice and attentive, and always smiling—a plus.
The menu offers a varied and good selection.
Excellent food, and very fair prices, as usual.
Unfortunately, the red wine in bulk was truly awful, and seemed watered down.
It's a shame, because with a little research you can find good ones at competitive prices.
Otherwise, everything was excellent.
17/10/2025: Share was a pleasant surprise. This Italian-run restaurant is very cute and modern, with tables lit by lamps. We dined with pleasant background music and excellent, friendly, and professional service. We particularly enjoyed the cacio e pepe and the prawns with pea cream; the chocolate cream sauce is excellent. We'll be back to try the pizza.

14/08/2025: Reliable, good Italian food. Some servers are wonderful and attentive. Some are VERY BUSY and difficult to pin down. Good steak. Great for large groups and small. Back garden seating area as well as indoor at front.

02/11/2025: I went here for a quick lunch with my partner, who is celiac.
The place offers a wide selection of gluten-free and gluten-free products. We were craving a burger, so we opted for that. I must say, the quality of the products is high: excellent meat, very good burger buns, both regular and gluten-free, and the fries that come with them are also good, fried well.
For starters, we had a portion of fried mozzarella sticks (both gluten-free and lactose-free). I must say, the breading was really tasty and crunchy (highly recommended).
We finished with a tiramisu (also gluten-free), which really amazed us.
The place is very welcoming and well-kept, and the staff are very kind and attentive.
A great discovery, we'll be back next time we're in the area.
19/10/2025: Nice place, welcoming atmosphere. Good and varied food (sandwiches, pizza, first courses, second courses, etc.).
Prices may be slightly higher than average, but it's worth it.

14/12/2025: We were looking for a place that offered both gluten-free and lactose-free options for several friends' needs. On Tuesday, we called and were told the lactose-free mozzarella was sold out, but we booked for Saturday, hoping that by then, a place that advertises lactose-free pizza in capital letters would have refilled the stock.
When it came time to order, of course, there was no lactose-free pizza.
Three of us ordered "Chianina" burgers, which tasted truly awful. The dry red pizzas (obviously without mozzarella) were all dry.
Personally, I don't like arguing in restaurants... if I don't like it, I pay and don't go back. The best thing I ever had was the Coke.
To be honest, the tagliata my wife had was really good.
Maybe we were just unlucky.
Terrible experience.

16/09/2025: A historic osteria on the Naviglio, with a very characteristic atmosphere, especially the outdoor area along the canal. Delicious dishes, especially the mixed grill served over charcoal.
08/09/2025: A typically traditional restaurant with much larger spaces than it might seem. The interior is large, spacious, welcoming, and bright, but the real gem is the outdoor veranda on the canal bank. Shade is provided by a pergola with lush vegetation, and the setting is decidedly quaint. The service is attentive and courteous. The food is good, though not excellent, but still makes for a pleasant experience. The bill is a bit more expensive than you'd expect, but in line with the times. As for the waiter, I'd say: quaint.
