18/09/2025: I'd like to focus on two things in particular: the service and the bill. The wait was incredibly long for water, bread, and wine (which arrived after multiple requests, and after the appetizers had already been brought to the table). We asked for a quarter of the house wine, a pointless request as we were only served a bottle of house wine (€9 for two glasses). The staff seemed lost and unprofessional. When the appetizers arrived, we asked for parmesan cheese and were told "it shouldn't be served on tagliolini with mushrooms" (she was visibly annoyed). After three of us had a small appetizer of cured meats for two (sorry, I don't have a photo, but the portion was really small), three first courses (a plate of tagliatelle and two gnocchi with porcini mushrooms), two desserts, and a sorbet (€8), we left with a bill of €120.00! The dishes we ordered were off-menu, it's true, but if these additions to the regular menu cost double the price of the dishes on the menu, it would probably be appropriate to disclose this or warn customers of the enormous markup. The desserts, two custard and raspberry tarts, arrived piping hot, probably left in the microwave for too long; I would have avoided serving them. When we asked for clarification on the bill, the treatment wasn't the best, not even from the owner, which goes to show that the problem is always rooted in the matter. Thank you, and never again!

01/10/2025: During a motorcycle trip in mid-June 2024, heading to Salzburg, but with a stop on the way to sleep in Cave del Predil (my dad's hometown), I decided to eat in San Daniele del Friuli, looking for a new place where I'd never stopped. I must say it was a great choice, both in terms of food and beer, but the service and staff were equally impressive. A welcoming place and a well-deserved break 🤩

01/07/2025: They are cheaters, I went for dinner there were 3 of us, the place overall is quite squalid, without air conditioning and with unpleasant smells that suggest a lack of cleanliness, but that's okay. The thing that made me furious was that we ordered a grilled cockerel whose price on the list was 12 euros, since 2 of us were not very hungry we asked that they split it into 2 parts on 2 plates. When I asked for the bill I immediately noticed that the cockerel had been charged with 2 separate items at 9 euros each for a total of 18 euros instead of 12. I asked for explanations and was told that the extra charge was for the "division in 2" service, I pointed out that they should have warned us in advance because if we had known we would have done the division ourselves, in response I was told that that's how it works there and if we were not satisfied we can avoid coming back.

23/02/2025: Questo locale si è rivelato un'autentica contraddizione: la cucina un'esplosione di sapori, un'esperienza gastronomica molto piacevole. Peccato che altrettanto piacevole non sia stato l’atteggiamento inqualificabile del titolare. La sua maleducazione è stata tale da farci sentire come degli ospiti indesiderati. Arroganza e scortesia al posto del dessert. Un vero peccato, perché il cibo meriterebbe ben altro trattamento.

16/04/2025: Bestelltes Filet war leider kein Filet, zumindest kenne ich kein Filet, das mit Flachsen durchzogen ist. Zudem durchgebraten statt Medium. Habe ich bei der Kellnerin beanstandet, sie hat sich entschuldigt, den Teller mitgenommen. Kein anderes angeboten, voll kassiert und noch dazu dann angemerkt (Chef?), dass ich keine Ahnung habe. Sicher kein weiteres Mal.
23/01/2025: Troppo grande, poco personale, menu troppo vario quindi impossibile da seguire per la cucina, portate che arrivano a spot e non insieme, contorni che arrivano a fine secondo, piatti tiepidi , un ora e 10 di attesa.

18/05/2025: Domenica 18 maggio 2025,al ritorno da Lignano ,ci siamo fermati in questa trattoria.Io ho ordinato una costata che doveva pesare 700 grammi,invece mi è stata portata una bistecca,dura,cruda, avevo chiesto mezza cottura e piena di nervi,che pesava a mio parere poco più della metà del peso indicato dalla cameriera .Pagato €40,00. Sara stato un caso????
28/03/2025: Ottimo posto per mangiare carne alla griglia. il nome è una garanzia. Personale gentile e premuroso, prezzi onesti e carne buona. Ottimi anche i primi, noi abbiamo preso gnocchi al ragù d'anatra e una grigliatona.

06/08/2024: Lontano dalla frenesia e immerso nella natura, è un posto del cuore. Carne di qualità eccellente, titolare gentilissimo e molto professionale. Ci torniamo ogni qual volta vogliamo sentirci a casa. Bravi!

21/04/2025: Ci siamo fermati con amici per una birra e uno spuntino, eravamo in 4, ci ha accolti una cameriera molto gentile ma ha preso l'ordine un'altra persona che quando abbiamo ordinato le birre, una pizza e 2 porzioni di patatine ha avuto un'espressione molto irritata e commentato:"solo?" Non avevamo detto di voler cenare, comunque non ci hanno portato neanche dei piattini ma abbiamo pagato 2 euro a testa di servizio... mangiato con il giubbotto addosso per la temperatura bassa... deludente, non ci ritorneremo.
27/02/2025: Accoglienza e servizio al tavolo ottima, un po' meno alla cassa. Cibo mediocre, freddo all'arrivo. Patatine di bassa qualità e cotte male. Non troppo caldo nell'ambiente..

24/08/2023: Trattoria destinata agli amanti della carne, specializzata in carne alla griglia, ma non solo, collocata nell’ampio contesto della macelleria di proprietà, che fornisce la materia prima, oltre ad offrire la vendita al dettaglio.
L’area destinata alla Braceria presenta una sala interna, con un certo numero di tavoli, una saletta con un grande tavolo (che ha ospitato la nostra compagnia), ed ampi spazi esterni, uno dei quali recintato e coperto con un tendone; al centro dello spazio, il “casotto” che ospita la griglia e gli abili cucinieri.
Il menù offre un’ampia gamma di piatti di carne, rossa e bianca (di pollo) e perlopiù cotta alla griglia, “bombette” pugliesi, tartare, costate, oltre a funghi porcini, verdure (melanzane, zucchine, cipolle, pomodori), ed altre specialità. Fornita la cantina, con vini del territorio e di altre zone della penisola.
Gentili ed efficienti le ragazze che si sono prese cura di noi, fornendoci le indicazioni del caso e consigliandoci nella scelta; servizio attento e rapido, nonostante la notevole affluenza.
Noi abbiamo scelto una tartara di manzo, con burro e senape, ed un “cuore di costata” (carne di costata privata dell’osso, di circa 4 etti), accompagnata da un’insalata mista; abbiamo bevuto birra chiara a spina ed acqua minerale.
Serata calda, ottima compagnia di amici, servizio efficiente e professionale, carne gustosa, tenerissima e cotta a puntino, ambiente simpatico, conto a mio avviso un po’ troppo alto; nel complesso un’esperienza comunque positiva.
