18/08/2025: We stopped for an aperitif, intrigued by the place. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with all the Neapolitan kindness and friendliness. We sat inside the room facing the grill, and it was wonderful to watch the chef cook (a very polite person, sincere in everything he does and says). Naturally, the atmosphere in the place was perfect. We drank two glasses of Amarone, a corporate choice that in itself was a winner for me, given that almost no one chooses Amarone by the glass, but only by the bottle, as if we all drink without thinking about the consequences (a bottle was opened in front of us with the style and skill worthy of an accomplished sommelier). We had delicious meatballs with an exceptional sauce and a special burger, with truly delicious Genoese pesto (well done for the raw materials used). To finish, a creamy mandarin sorbet. I have to go back to try the tagliata, the pesto horse meat, the ribs, the beef tartar, etc. But above all, the pastiera and the babà, which I'm crazy about. They're young people who know what quality dining means without looking for astronomical things. The taste of authenticity and the simplicity of the dishes can bring a smile to your face even after a tiring day. I recommend it to everyone, for an aperitif, a family dinner, or a romantic dinner. In short, for all occasions. Well done, keep it up.

I love this place for the goodness of the recipes and the quality of the raw materials. I will return soon for the KRAKEN.

02/08/2025: A discreet spot in the heart of Forlì with a selection of unique burgers. The combinations are highly refined and designed to ensure great variety. The ingredients are truly, truly excellent. It's not easy to stand out when it comes to burgers, given all the options available these days, but Amburgheria Creativa does it very well; the name is truly fitting. The beer selection is also excellent.

Non una grande varietà di cibo, ma ingredienti curati e di ottima qualità. Ottimo lo Zola Burger. Curata anche la scelta di amari e superalcolici. Servizio estremamente cortese, simpatico e preparato. Sicuramente vale la pena passarci, ancor di più fermarsi un pó.

01/09/2025: Well, guys, in 2025 there are still no gluten-free options other than a simple €30 tagliata (when objectively sandwiches and pizzas are more or less half the price), and the fact that the vegetables in the tagliata weren't brought by the waiter is initially disconcerting. Luckily, we asked another waiter who brought the vegetables. Did the other one misunderstand? Because in the end, they weren't contaminated... bah.

27/07/2025: One of the worst experiences I've had at a KFC. The kiosk is out of order, only 2-3 of them work. I ordered via the app and paid at the register, which I shouldn't have done. I waited 30-40 minutes to pay. At first, there was only one person working the register and preparing orders; then another colleague arrived, and the situation didn't improve, but got worse. When we pointed out that we'd been waiting for a while, the gentleman told us they were having trouble (with 8 orders on the screen and a line at the register) and if we wanted to wait, we could keep waiting; otherwise, we could go eat somewhere else, it wasn't his problem. In fact, we went to eat at Dispensa Emilia.

21/08/2025: A few days ago, I received a coupon for a free Alaskan chicken breast through the Old Wild West app. Today, I decided to go to the Reggio Emilia location, located inside the I Petali shopping center, for lunch and to use the coupon. I arrived at the restaurant around 12:20. A waitress seated me at an unstable, rickety table, without offering me the option to change it. I had to hold it steady with my feet for the entire meal. After about ten minutes, my order was taken: I chose a Monterrey Chicken. The wait was about twenty minutes. When the dish arrived, I was immediately disappointed: the portion was visibly smaller than usual, the dish was cold, the potatoes were overly salty, and the chicken breast was burnt. The quality of the food was decidedly below average. After finishing my meal, I expected someone to come and collect my plate and ask if I wanted anything else. Instead, the waitresses walked by, ignoring me, only glancing briefly. Only after a long wait did a visibly annoyed waitress approach me and ask if I wanted anything. I explained that I'd been wanting to order the Alaskan sundae for a while, but no one had considered me. Her response was rude and argumentative, despite my polite and respectful tone. Fortunately, the person I assumed was the manager noticed the inconvenience and intervened professionally. She apologized for what had happened, and within minutes, I was finally served the Alaskan sundae. At checkout, the coupon wasn't recognized by the system. I had another five-minute wait. Only thanks to the manager's intervention, who manually forced the discount, was I able to complete the transaction. I left the restaurant at 1:36 PM, as confirmed by the receipt. In short, over an hour to consume a mediocre cutlet, four potatoes, and an ice cream sundae. Poor service, questionable staff attitude, and disappointing food quality. My only exception was the helpfulness of the manager, who tried to remedy the situation. But if this is the standard, the future of the Old Wild West of Reggio Emilia I Petali appears decidedly uncertain.
