12/11/2025: I ate here twice on my recent trip to Venice. It is simply delicious Venetian home style cooking. It has a reputation of being popular with the gondolieri for lunch, and there was always a line of French tourists waiting to eat here! I strongly recommend the pastichio de pesce, which is essentially a fish lasagna. I also had the vegetable soup and the frito mjsto which were both good. Very friendly owned and staff.

11/11/2025: Update 08/11/25 I returned with friends and my friend Stefano "EL venesian" I confirm...!! Great Gimmy and his staff. Venetian specialties and more. Excellent value for money. A small, cute, clean trattoria frequented by locals, including gondoliers. (AND THAT'S A BUSINESS CARD.) The owner, Gimmy, a young man who has been well-established in Venetian cuisine for years, offers express dishes with the freshest fish. I had a second helping of spaghetti with clams. My wife had spaghetti with seafood. Then a very light and flavorful fried fish. Excellent value for money. Went with my friend Stefano from the historic Caffè Poggi, located next door, where, in addition to excellent coffee, they also have all sorts of specialty sweets and wines that they order from all over Italy. 03/10/2025: I had an amazing dinner at this restaurant! The food was really amazing, especially the ravioli with shrimps. The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place & come back the next time I visite Venice.

23/09/2025: Everything was top notch, both the food and the service were wonderful. This is definitely a must-visit place.

19/10/2025: In short, the service left a lot to be desired. The tables were dirty, and I had to go and clear them myself, taking the used plates and glasses to the counter. There was very little vegan pastries left, and by 9:30 in the morning, the croissants were gone.

20/09/2025: It was such a pleasure dining here! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was just perfect. We especially loved that it wasn’t crowded, so we could enjoy our meal in peace. The prices were very reasonable, not expensive at all. Truly a hidden gem!

16/10/2025: For some time now, whenever we spend a day in Venice, we've tried to plan a lunchtime stop here. The restaurant is also popular with locals, which means the value for money is at least fair. The menu is extensive, but it's always worth asking what's on the daily menu, which, if you arrive early, generally offers a good variety. When we visited, we opted for monkfish with potatoes. The desserts are not to be underestimated. In our case, tiramisu and cheesecake with warm berries... As I said, we stop here at least a couple of times a year and have never been disappointed.

07/09/2025: We came here on vacation for a few days, and we had a great time! The staff was very kind and helpful! A special mention goes to Lorenza, who pampered us during our stay and fulfilled our every request. The place is truly relaxing and quiet, surrounded by greenery, just steps from the sea and towns like Ortona and Vasto. The breakfast is delicious, with both sweet and savory options. The company of the dog and kittens made this experience even more enjoyable. :)

10/11/2025: A wide selection of excellent pastries and croissants. The elegant interior also offers outdoor seating in the warmer months. Worth a visit.

02/11/2025: After a couple of years, I went to Prosdocimi and was disappointed by the pastries. They were all so bland, you can't tell a fiamma from a diplomatica or a tiramisu. They all look the same, they all share the same cream with a slight addition of flavoring in one case or another. Everything was very bland. I'm sorry, but if this is the policy you've adopted to please everyone, in my opinion it's wrong. It's a policy I've noticed adopted in many establishments in Venice and the province, be they pastry shops, trattorias, or pasticcerias. It's a shame, because in order to please and indulge an ignorant clientele, nothing is done to educate them about our true flavors. It's a shame, because in other Italian cities, they care much more about their traditions.

16/10/2025: The patio is perfect in the Fall with a mosaic of vines and grape leaves catching the light above you as you dine on the delicious dishes of Venice. The lobster risotto is something I dream about a month after returning to the states.

16/10/2025: The photo is of the shocking garlic bread that I paid for.. The vongole tastes better in Korea.. There was no dressing for the salad. They didn't even ask how the steak was cooked ㅋㅋㅋ I felt like we were being discriminated against. We ate it because we were hungry, but the garlic bread really crossed the line. They gave us the receipt and subtly asked for a 20% tip. Ha, I was so pissed^^ I left without giving it. I went there because it was close to my accommodation, but I'm writing a review with great regret.

28/10/2025: An exceptional experience! I visited Ai Do Archi restaurant and was truly thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously crafted, with a typically Venetian yet unpretentious feel. The staff is extremely kind and attentive, always ready to recommend the best dishes.

19/10/2025: A slightly disappointing family dinner; forgettable scallops au gratin (dry because they were covered in grated cheese without a drizzle of oil) for €5 each. Spaghetti with clams, shelled and with a bit too much sand. Soft Sicilian cannoli. Friendly and helpful staff. I don't think I'll be back.

05/11/2025: We had lunch on Sunday, two adults and a child. We ate really well: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and excellent flavors. We washed it all down with a Bruno Paillard Champagne, perfect for the occasion. The waiter, Brook, pampered us from start to finish. He was very good, and knows how to put people at ease... and how to sell too 😅😂 He even offered us cookies at the end! A super pleasant experience, we'll definitely be back.

21/10/2025: Wonderful restaurant with great selection of local dishes. Non smoking. Reservation suggested. Had fantastic spagetti with mousles, prawns and squid in tomato sause.

13/11/2025: A trattoria from another era with an authentic flavor lost in new, standardized restaurants. The service staff is young and courteous, yet faithful to family traditions. The dishes are tasty and authentic, and the menu is seasonal. A true journey back in time!

11/11/2025: What struck me most, aside from the quality of the food and the extremely family-friendly atmosphere, was the serenity of all the staff. The dining rooms are very quiet, even at lunchtime. The farmhouse where you eat is charming and stylishly furnished. The quality of the food is excellent, as is the reinterpretation of tradition in various dishes.

07/10/2025: I'm sorry, but the dinner was unfortunately just adequate. The food seemed bland and boring. In our opinion, we wouldn't recommend it.

04/10/2025: That was really good 👍 unfortunately it was our first time this season and we will go home soon. But next year we will go there more times.
