18/05/2026: I was greeted with a Venetian accent, even though the owner is of Egyptian origin. The kindness is boundless. The seafood spaghetti I sampled was simply delicious, with plenty of fresh seafood. The bread was brought to me at the end of the tasting, just as I was mopping up the bread. It was warm and fragrant. The Friuli wine was full-bodied and bold. I asked for two scoops of lemon gelato, and they obliged, even though it was off the menu. In short, a lunch definitely worth remembering.

The staff is friendly and the service is fast, making it ideal for both breakfast and a coffee break. The atmosphere is pleasant and well-maintained; some details could be improved during busy periods, but overall, it was a very positive experience.

The food was delicious, authentic and fresh. The place has a great charm – it’s not all polished up for tourists, but genuine, local and simply good! Genuine and delicious: highly recommended!

06/05/2026: My wife and I chose Osteria Trefanti following a very strong personal recommendation, and after we both had read numerous excellent reviews about the restaurant. I had made an online reservation with Osteria Trefanti about three weeks in advance of my wife's and my visit, and ended up being glad I had done so. With only ten tables, it’s an intimate room, and we were very lucky to be seated by the window. Diego warmly welcomed us to Osteria Trefanti, and within a couple minutes was pouring glasses of Prosecco for us. Diego managed a full dining room with impressive calm and attentiveness. Every dish my wife and I ordered was truly exceptional - wonderfully fresh (sourced daily from the Rialto Market), and expertly prepared. Chef/Owner Umberto’s passion shows in every plate. This was one of the "standout" dining experiences during our seven trips to Venice since 2007. We enjoyed our dinner at Osteria Trefanti so much that we plan to return before leaving Venice. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: Why This Restaurant Surprised Me More Than Any Other Gnocchetti with anchovy and cinnamon! A truly outlandish yet brilliant creation, something to try if you’re on the adventurous side. Having said that, everything we ordered was wonderful, along with friendly attentive service. We even got to meet the chef at the end of our delicious meal. This is a small restaurant of exceptional quality. I suggest booking ahead to make sure you get to experience it. We opted for a primi, secondi each and shared dessert. The Panna Cotta was heavenly and we could/should have had one each! We will be returning here on our next trip to Venice.

25/04/2026: I visited the Jewish ghetto and happened upon this little place. They have many gluten-free options, including pizza, which is prepackaged but made in their own factory. I must say, it surprised us. The waiter was incredibly kind, and the food was also prepared with excellent ingredients. I wasn't crazy about the gluten-free pizza base, but the ingredients used on top were, indeed, excellent! The place isn't run by Italians. A very positive review.

The food was DELICIOUS, appetizers and risotto (I don't remember what it was). Thank you so much. I'll definitely be back again (without the bike), but with my family.

09/05/2026: Wonderful discovery ⭐️ We only stayed one night (unfortunately) and we really hope to return soon! Everything was perfect, from the very kind welcome, the helpfulness in offering us services, parking, beach, restaurant 🔝 the care taken throughout the hotel, both inside and out, with the comfortable armchairs at the entrance, not to mention the excellent central location! The room with a beautiful terrace allowed us to enjoy Via Bafile in total relaxation...and last but not least, the excellent breakfast! Obviously...highly recommended ❤️
