10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class. We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves. The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

13/01/2026: After seeing the excellent reviews, my experience at Gordon Pub was rather disappointing. I paid €18 for a burger menu with a small bun, nothing exceptional. The fries arrived about half an hour after the bun, when I'd already finished my meal: a generous amount, but completely lacking service. They don't know how to make cocktails: the menu descriptions don't make sense, and the drinks are served in unsuitable glasses—narrow and tall, certainly not for cocktails. Paying €8 for something like that is quite perplexing. The beer is average, but it's just beer: it doesn't justify the prices. The atmosphere is nice, but the prices are too high for the quality and service. I'm from Milan, and for much less money, you can get much larger, tastier, and more carefully prepared sandwiches. The quality/price ratio here is not at all convincing. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but as it is, it's not there.

22/03/2026: Rude and liars. I was on vacation in the area, and a friend from the Aosta Valley recommended this restaurant to me, telling me to make a reservation under his name since he's a friend of the owners. I called in the afternoon for a table for two, and they told me they only had room until 9:30 PM, so I accepted. The restaurant was a 30-minute drive from my hotel, and we arrived at 9:35 PM. I introduced myself, and the owner (I think) looked at me with disdain, telling me they'd been waiting since 9 PM, so the table wasn't available anymore! I pointed out that they were the ones who told me to arrive at 9:30 PM, and she curtly replied that it wasn't possible, that I was the one who was late. She also told me she'd called me several times, but always got voicemail. A lie, since I don't have voicemail turned on, and I don't have any of their calls in my call log. At which point, the kind lady practically kicked us out, saying that even if we'd booked at 9:30 PM, we'd been five minutes late and the kitchen was closed (!!??). At 9:35 PM... a restaurant in a tourist area... full of foreigners... Friday night... kitchen closed?? So even if I'd arrived at 9 PM, I'd have to order and eat within half an hour?? I think that to run a restaurant, besides offering good food, you should at least be sane. These people have serious problems. I've read other reviews (unfortunately, since) that describe similar behavior. They should at least change their profession.

05/03/2026: We had a fantastic meal here, all carefully prepared and delicious. A great wine selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

21/10/2025: What a lovely village pub this is! There are always people there, whether they're after a walk, from the village, or something similar. A great atmosphere and service that I really miss in the Netherlands. I recommend everyone to have a drink here. A truly authentic, top-notch location! We haven't tried the food yet, but the coffee and Sprite are excellent!

30/01/2026: February 2025: A typically 1980s residence, simple but functional, in an excellent location. Near the ski slopes and the spa. N.B. If you return, know that the coffee is mine! €10

09/08/2025: The bar was closed yesterday! It's probably closed all summer, but it says open on Google! Is it that hard to correctly list closing days on Google? ..if only out of a modicum of respect for tourists/customers...

23/02/2026: Very friendly staff! The pastries are homemade, and the coffee is delicious! A lovely outdoor area with sun until late!

03/01/2026: Very convenient location, excellent service. If you want an aperitif or breakfast, it's excellent.
