12/03/2026: Excellent fish restaurant with fresh ingredients. It's a delight; you'd think you were on the Adriatic coast. The restaurant is popular with many people from Aosta. The prices are very reasonable.

07/03/2026: The food here is very good, especially the fish, which is delivered fresh. I recommend the fish; the peppered mussels are delicious, but a bit spicy. The meat was also good; I also ordered the grilled meat, which is generally recommended, and the house wine was also good.

05/03/2026: We had dinner here during our ski trip in Cervinia and it was one of the best meals I ever had in Italy. There were five of us and we were all very hungry after skiing, but the portions were generous and we left perfectly satisfied. Everything we tried was excellent. A special thank you to the gentleman who recommended a regional Valle d’Aosta wine for us. It matched the food absolutely perfectly and made the whole experience even better. I also have to mention the asparagus fondant (sformatino). It was absolutely phenomenal, one of those dishes you still think about days later. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and very kind service. 10/03/2026: I've been there many times and have always had a great time. It's not expensive and the food is good. Quick service and friendly, courteous staff. I recommend it for groups of friends and families, as well as for a romantic evening or a romantic dinner. I didn't take photos because everything was so good that I always thought about it too late.

04/03/2026: Six of us had lunch at this restaurant in Bard, which we discovered by chance. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the local dishes were impeccably prepared. The waitress and owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming. At the end of the meal, we were offered grappa and a Genepy infusion, a typical local liqueur. We'll definitely be back when we return to the Aosta Valley. Highly recommended.

03/02/2026: A restaurant near the Bard Fort, small but quaint, with very friendly and helpful staff. The menu features typical Aosta Valley dishes, generous portions, quality food, and fair prices. We ate very well. A great find, definitely worth a try if you're in the area. Everything was truly perfect!

01/03/2026: We vacationed in Courmayeur, and unfortunately we only stayed at Baita Ermitage on the last night of our stay, because I'm sure it would have been our regular stop. Baita Ermitage is the kind of place you look for on a typical day in the mountains, perhaps after a long, tiring ski trip: a traditional refuge full of stories, where you're welcomed and pampered by the staff and where you can refuel with traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. Every dish we ordered had the flavor of the Aosta Valley; the portions are generous, and the price is fair for the quantity and quality offered. The view is breathtaking at night, let alone during the day...

27/02/2026: We came here because a friend recommended it, and I'm really happy with it! The owner picked us up at the Courmayeur Hotel and took us there. For appetizers, we had the apple salad (excellent), the salmon trout (of the day and also very good), the tomini with chives (good), and the fondue rolls (basic, but good). For main courses, we had polenta with rabbit, polenta with mushrooms, and a paillarde, all very good. It's very easy to talk, there's not a lot of noise, and it's suitable for groups of 1 to 10 or more. The setting is beautiful, in the stone, typical of a mountain hut. However, the desserts leave much to be desired. The tiramasu, instead of having mascarpone cream and coffee, had yellow lemon cream and chocolate. The chestnuts with cream tasted like nothing, but the warm raspberries with ice cream were very good. Overall, the restaurant has many strong points, but one weakness: the desserts.

15/03/2026: Great place to enjoy a variety of Italian pastries, and I highly recommend the hot chocolate with cream – it's amazing!

25/02/2026: It is closed more often than it is open in the high season. La Thuile manages to open after four in the afternoon. Today it is 4:30 and it is still closed.

30/03/2026: A tourist trap. We went there on the recommendation of Maison Bartolin (which is actually spectacular) simply because they don't do tastings on Mondays. We went in asking for a drink and a snack and to sit outside (it was 5 PM), but they put us inside while the restaurant was completely empty. Exorbitant prices, mediocre food, nothing like the real Aosta Valley, and, above all, rude waitresses. Nevertheless, other people sat outside for drinks and snacks (which we had requested), but we were told they made an exception. Astronomical bill and zero satisfaction. Maison Bertolin forever. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

14/03/2026: A wonderful lunch featuring traditional products. We ordered the mixed cured meats and cheese platter for two, and that alone was enough to stop us. We continued with the Valdostana cutlet and polenta concia, but had to ask for them to be packaged to take home. Perhaps a little more courtesy at the reception would be nice.

21/12/2025: Very comfortable atmosphere, which is largely due to the hosts themselves, who also serve. Very helpful, attentive and accommodating. You have to understand that this is not a 5-star hotel where you get 50 different dishes for breakfast, but that's what makes it cozy and nice. You come as if you are visiting relatives :)

27/02/2026: In the heart of Aosta, this is a very popular place; I absolutely recommend the polenta concia, delicious. The cheeses, served with jam and caramelized onions, are also delicious.

19/02/2026: La Grolla is one of the best in Courmayeur ! The food, view, vibe and staff are all fantastic. We got married there in winter some years ago -going up the gondola at night and food/dancing until midnight - the best day of my life and we couldnt have had our winter wonderland wedding come true if La Grolla staff and owners didn't step up the way they did. Thank you La Grolla - can't wait to return!

01/02/2026: Lovely mountain restaurant. Very friendly staff, offering excellent food and drinks. Not your average burger, and very good vension fagu and pasta. Booking recommended on a sunny day, beautiful small 1st floor terrace.
