From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism, creating a wonderful first impression that continued throughout the entire evening. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere—elegant, comfortable, and relaxing. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or as a couple, it's the perfect place to enjoy an exceptional meal in the heart of Aosta. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can immediately tell that great care and passion go into every plate. The menu offers an excellent selection, showcasing both local traditions and refined Italian cuisine. Every course we tried was full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and memorable. The service deserves special recognition. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to help with recommendations. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made us feel valued throughout our visit without ever being intrusive. What impressed me most was the consistency of the entire experience. 10/03/2026: I've been there many times and have always had a great time. It's not expensive and the food is good. Quick service and friendly, courteous staff. I recommend it for groups of friends and families, as well as for a romantic evening or a romantic dinner. I didn't take photos because everything was so good that I always thought about it too late.

27/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Covalou, and I must say it was truly a wonderful experience. The ambiance is one of its strong points: quiet, welcoming, and very characteristic, with wood and stone elements that perfectly recall the Val d'Aosta tradition. We were seated near the pellet stove, a detail that made the atmosphere even warmer and more pleasant. The owner immediately proved to be extremely kind and attentive, which always makes a difference. A much-appreciated gesture was serving the children first, who were definitely hungry: they devoured a tagliatelle with white ragù that, in their words, was "to fly away." My wife and I started with two truly interesting traditional appetizers: an excellent Arnad lard accompanied by honey and chestnuts, a perfectly balanced pairing, and delicate and well-prepared Burgundy snails. For our second course, we chose beef slices to cook directly on the hot soapstone at the table, accompanied by vegetables: a convivial and very tasty experience. To conclude, the kids enjoyed a freshly made Nutella crepe, while we enjoyed a truly delicious house grappa. In short: a more than satisfying dinner in an authentic setting, with traditional cuisine and attentive, friendly service. Highly recommended!

22/03/2026: A restaurant connected to the pizzeria/restaurant below by a staircase, specializing in meat. Very good dishes, a wide selection, and prompt service. The usual Courmayeur prices are very high, and the gelato is especially disdainful: €10 for a large, 1/4-filled cup. The fries are soggy.

01/03/2026: We vacationed in Courmayeur, and unfortunately we only stayed at Baita Ermitage on the last night of our stay, because I'm sure it would have been our regular stop. Baita Ermitage is the kind of place you look for on a typical day in the mountains, perhaps after a long, tiring ski trip: a traditional refuge full of stories, where you're welcomed and pampered by the staff and where you can refuel with traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. Every dish we ordered had the flavor of the Aosta Valley; the portions are generous, and the price is fair for the quantity and quality offered. The view is breathtaking at night, let alone during the day...

27/02/2026: We came here because a friend recommended it, and I'm really happy with it! The owner picked us up at the Courmayeur Hotel and took us there. For appetizers, we had the apple salad (excellent), the salmon trout (of the day and also very good), the tomini with chives (good), and the fondue rolls (basic, but good). For main courses, we had polenta with rabbit, polenta with mushrooms, and a paillarde, all very good. It's very easy to talk, there's not a lot of noise, and it's suitable for groups of 1 to 10 or more. The setting is beautiful, in the stone, typical of a mountain hut. However, the desserts leave much to be desired. The tiramasu, instead of having mascarpone cream and coffee, had yellow lemon cream and chocolate. The chestnuts with cream tasted like nothing, but the warm raspberries with ice cream were very good. Overall, the restaurant has many strong points, but one weakness: the desserts.

31/05/2026: A lovely restaurant in the mountains of the Aosta Valley. The Arnad lard with mountain honey is delicious. The cured meats and cheeses are standard fare. The polenta and sausage are very good. The agnolotti are good, but the pasta is industrial. The Bonet is nothing special. The food is home-cooked, and the staff are helpful, attentive, and efficient. The atmosphere is quaint and well-maintained. I'll gladly return to try other dishes. Recommended.

04/05/2026: A restaurant offering both regional and national cuisine. Good quality food. The service is very fast and well-organized. The restaurant is spacious, spread over three levels. We stayed two nights because we had a great time.
