27/12/2024: Friendly staff, the restaurant was full, but the manager tried his best to find me a small table. Of course until a certain time because it was reserved. I thank him because it allowed me to taste and enjoy dishes such as fritto misto and salmon tagliatelle. THANKS

23/12/2024: Reasonable prices and food portions. Friendly staff and delicious food. I would give this store more than five stars! It’s just that there will be a lot of people, so it’s recommended to book a spot in advance. Love the steak and seafood platter!

02/01/2025: Very ordinary food…the tomatoes were out of season sure but no effort to find tasty ones. The parmigiano came in little plastic packages that were impossible to open. The red wine was horrible. The ambiance of a camp cafeteria. Very disappointing…

06/01/2025: I ate on my way back from Chamois last night and I must say that the food was really very good and of good quality, the Tiramisu in particular is one of the best I have eaten, the environment is warm and welcoming. The two guys at the service were really kind, nice, helpful and polite.

05/01/2025: Discovered by chance last year while returning from Cervina with my daughter... I must say exceptional, typical Aosta Valley cuisine restaurant, fast cordials and quality raw materials at honest prices, there is a beautiful typical high mountain atmosphere... we went again twice more this year and can't wait to go back again... top

27/12/2024: There were 4 of us for lunch, we waited a bit before our orders were taken but there was a bit of a mess so all in all it was understandable. Delicious foods. Fresh and excellent quality raw materials. The game platter accompanied by a glass of Carpe Diem and the chestnut soup are highly recommended! The desserts and second courses are also excellent! Absolutely excellent value for money. Large and convenient parking.

11/01/2025: Pluripremiato maestro cioccolatiere a due passi dalle piste. Molto affollato. Il locale è piccolo e così dopo un po’ di attesa ci hanno proposto di condividere un tavolo da 4 con un altra coppia; per noi nessun problema. Cioccolata molto buona così come la pasticceria. Tisana nella media. Crepe poco cotta. Prezzi onesti. Personale cortese e disponibile nonostante il caos (la nostra crespella ha girato 4 tavoli prima di giungere a destinazione). Da riprovare senza la ressa.

10/01/2025: Wow what a beautiful place I had a hot chocolate with cream and a crepe I’m not a hot chocolate drinker at all but thought I better try one well here and honestly it was superb, like I’ve never tasted before I literally used my teaspoon to drink with as it was pure chocolate not a powder, I would recommend visiting here 100% don’t miss it out on your ski trip Kev

01/01/2025: Abbiamo scoperto per caso questo luogo magico la sera del 30 dicembre. Volevamo un ristorante fuori dal centro e ci siamo addentrati in una strada a pochi minuti di auto dal centro di Courmayeur e abbiamo visto questa baita molto suggestiva perchè ubicata di fronte alle montagne e tipica valdostana. Abbiamo ricevuto un’ottima accoglienza da parte del titolare. Erano le 19 e siamo riusciti a trovare un tavolo x miracolo perché era presto. Mentre eravamo lì’ hanno telefonato una trentina di persone per prenotare nei giorni successivi. I tavoli sono limitati, ci sono due salette e una privata x due, romanticissima vista montagne. E’ da vedere perché e’ fantastica l’atmosfera. Abbiamo provato l’insalata di mele (pazzesca), un tagliere di salumi e tomini, crespelle alla valdostana, polenta concia, lamponi caldi e gelato alla crema, marroni all’armagnac, vino della casa. Tutto fantastico e servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo speso 45 euro a testa, prezzo equo considerando che siamo a Courmayeur e il posto è unico. Spero di tornarci.

02/01/2025: A quick lunch before going to visit the Castel Savoia in Gressoney, driven by curiosity, because some reviews were terrible, others were absolutely positive, however we were lucky and found a place because there were only 2 of us, because they don't accept reservations. Excellent food, staff in my opinion, welcoming enough, without being intrusive

07/01/2025: Tornati dopo due anni per il pranzo del 31 dicembre in questo ristorante nel pieno centro di Aosta, abbiamo ritrovato la qualità che ricordavamo. Locale piccolo e accogliente, staff cortese e attento. Stupiscono positivamente la scelta delle materie prime, il mix di sapori dei vari piatti e una carta dei vini - consultabile su un tablet - quasi infinita. Il menù degustazione Alpino (40 euro, dagli antipasti al dessert) ha un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo e permette di assaggiare un po’ di tutto con porzioni adeguate.

08/12/2024: Amazing celebratory lunch at Chalet Etoile. Cali is a legend and friendly host, we had free welcome Prosecco and amazing truffle pasta and wild boar ragu!! Brilliant service and atmosphere!

08/12/2024: A sorpresa Abbiamo cenato in questo posto piatti tipici valdostani ci siamo alzati con la pancia piena e molto soddisfatti ottima fonduta ottima bistecca alla valdostana e Filettino con fonduta sopra una sorpresa molto deliziosa da ritornare

24/11/2024: Cibo tipico valdostano veramente ottimo e ben cucinato. Servizio al tavolo efficiente e cortesia dimostrata dal personale di sala verso tutti i clienti. La prima sera abbiamo cenato con delle pizze, veramente ben cotte e ben condite; la sera successiva, entusiasti, abbiamo cenato con dell’ottimo cibo locale. Due cene, in due serate consecutive, ottime!

26/12/2024: I had a cup of hot chocolate and as a vegan I really appreciated the availability of soy milk in this corner of Val d'Aosta! Very honest price. You can enter with dogs, as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash. Not the best hot chocolate of my life (it was a mix in a bag and you could taste it) but all the other factors made the experience very positive!
