14/08/2025: We went to this delightful, small but very charming restaurant on August 14th. I felt like I was at home. Mrs. Giusy, who cooks the meat, is a truly exquisite person. Her assistant in the dining room is also lovely and kind. The food was excellent. Exceptional local products. The meat was perfectly cooked. Excellent prices considering the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommended.

04/07/2025: I was actually a guest with my wife at the Giotto hotel where this restaurant is located. Beautiful terrace with an unparalleled view of the valley below. Worth a try even just for the location.

04/05/2025: Prodotti tipici e genuini, salumi di Norcia spettacolari. Il posto è piccolo ma nel pieno centro della stupenda Assisi. Siamo stati con nostro figlio di 6 mesi, il personale è stato estremamente gentile e accogliente. Consigliatissimo.

24/07/2025: We went there before closed and took just few dishes with vegetables and fruits,and was pretty good! Fresh salad and juicy grilled vegetables ! And for fans of draft beer,there amazing German lager Engel!
19/07/2025: On a warm and pleasant July evening, we dined at Ristorante Pizzeria Otello, ideally located just steps from Assisi's town square. The atmosphere was simply enchanting: we ate outdoors, immersed in the beauty of the historic center, with the sweet, captivating sound of a street concert coming from the nearby square adding a magical touch to the entire experience.
The staff was friendly and helpful from the start, welcoming us with a smile and guiding us through the menu. We opted for pizza—fragrant, well-seasoned, with fresh, quality ingredients—but the traditional Umbrian dishes served at nearby tables also looked very inviting.
The relaxed and authentic atmosphere, combined with the delicious food and live music in the background, made our evening special. Otello is not just a restaurant, but the perfect place to enjoy Assisi with all your senses.

05/08/2025: The cappuccino was salty?? I heard the man across from me complain that his was salty as well. I hope I don't get sick. The cream in my pistachio cannoli had turned brown on the outside also, but it tasted okay. The server was very nice and their card machine was working 👍
