10/11/2025: Really nice restaurant, with a great ambient and amazing food. The service was extremely efficient and always smiling.
09/11/2025: We were skeptical of finding the usual tourist restaurant, but instead, it was a beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, made with local ingredients, and more than generous portions.
An excellent experience, and if we were to return to Assisi, we would definitely return.

22/10/2025: Business dinner. Positive first impression. Simple, spartan place. We ordered two veal steaks. Inedible!! The meat was incredibly tough. The owner came to see why we hadn't eaten them. We told her the veal was inedible. She offered to remake the dish, saying, "This is on me, it doesn't go on the bill." But in my opinion, we shouldn't have paid for the two steaks!!! I don't recommend it!!
15/10/2025: An interesting, quaint place with rustic, down-to-earth cuisine. If you like hearty food, this is the place for you. I found the prices a bit excessive for the simplicity of the dishes.

04/07/2025: I was actually a guest with my wife at the Giotto hotel where this restaurant is located. Beautiful terrace with an unparalleled view of the valley below. Worth a try even just for the location.

27/10/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend. We had a wonderful time. The staff was super kind and attentive, attentive to every course we were served. The food was truly delicious and the value was excellent. The setting was also truly unique and very charming. Highly recommended.
25/10/2025: Here at Pallotta's, you'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Superlative cuisine, a Slow Food Presidium. Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: The food is delicious! The pumpkin soup is very tasty, with a mix of spices and herbs! The skewers are delicious! The polenta is also worth it! The staff, especially Miriam, is very efficient, kind, and cheerful. Highly recommended.

09/09/2025: We had pizzas for dinner. Also had antipasti affetati, cold cuts, they were nothing special but quite ok, cut in very thin way..a bit like you buy in a supermarket..
The personal behaved in a quite noisy way, joking and so on while waiting for more people to enter... Well, don't know if it's very polite to laugh, joke and speak sooo loudly ahead the clients..in a place like Assisi people may need to stop and enjoy the silence a bit having a dinner without such a "show" made by a foreign waitress and other employers🙈
Anyway pizzas were quite ok for the taste but only little topping on one pizza that we asked without cheese because of allergy and usually pizzaiolas put some oil on it to not have such a "dry" one topping with "dry" vegetables.
I also asked when ordering, to have origano on my pizza. When the pizza arrived I nearly could see if thete was any traces of oregano. Strange..if I ask for it they don't even almost put it but I pay the normale price (and like said before I asked it without cheese so to "compansate" and being friendly they could have put at the same price a bit olive oil and much more oregano to put some more taste on it)
The waiters aren't Italians so the service is basic but would't say not specially excellent and warm...
We will not return here after this experience...

Excellent cured meats, a wide selection of beers and good wine. A quaint place with fun and entertaining food-related aphorisms. Inside, there's not much space; there are two or three tables that can seat 6 to 8 people each. Outside, the tables are on the sidewalk. They also offer takeout, with excellent sandwiches filled with their cured meats. Great for a quick lunch while visiting Assisi. Overall, a good lunch.

01/11/2025: Good platter, good rib-eye steak with mushrooms, and delicious mixed fried fish. It's not bad for a quick lunch. I recommend it. Friendly staff.

31/10/2025: The food is all frozen (including the sandwiches, or if they aren't, they're just as unpresentable) but they cost like normal food. The pizzas are tiny, and there was even a hair on mine—it wasn't a hair, and the place only serves women who obviously don't have beards. I wonder what part of their body it is.
The prices are exorbitant for the poor quality.
The pictures on the menu don't match the product.
The bathroom is unisex and obviously unpresentable.
Please, for your own good and your health, don't come and eat at this "restaurant," if you can call it that.
25/10/2025: Bad service. Save yourself stress. Eat somewhere else. The two 50 something Italian ladies there were very rude. The zuppa verdura (vegetable soup) had beans that were hard. We ordered pasta with pesto sauce and it took me three times requesting a fork. We sat in the front outside patio and when I asked for a fork, the 50 something said for me to go into the restaurant to get the fork. The breaded chicken patty tasted like cardboard microwave frozen Swansons. We suggest eating at Il Menestrello instead (off Via San Francesco and Via San Gregorio) for better food, service, ambiance and price. Lastly, when I went to pay the bill with my credit card, the same 50 something told me cash only. I’m glad I had enough cash. If they were not right off of Piazza Del Commune, they would not be in business much longer. Buyer beware!

04/05/2025: Prodotti tipici e genuini, salumi di Norcia spettacolari. Il posto è piccolo ma nel pieno centro della stupenda Assisi. Siamo stati con nostro figlio di 6 mesi, il personale è stato estremamente gentile e accogliente. Consigliatissimo.
