27/06/2026: I used to come here all the time as a child and only returned after a long time, since I moved away. I have to say the cakes/tarts didn't taste fresh at all and were very dry. Plus, the portions were very small for the price; you can get better value for money even in Bolzano's old town. The service was also quite unfriendly, and we were addressed in Italian several times, even though I was speaking German. My skin color was probably a factor. A real shame...

16/07/2026: The drinks were delicious, but the service was horrible. The bearded waiter left before we'd even finished taking our orders, walking sulkily among the tables, and then sending everyone away. The online closing time says 12:30 AM, but he sent us away at 11:15 PM.

03/03/2026: A cozy pizzeria with lovingly set tables. Very reasonable prices for the location and excellent pizzas. Definitely worth a visit. However, the menu is limited to pizzas, with only a few appetizers and desserts available. Perhaps that's a good thing... it helps maintain the authenticity. We'll be back!

One of this bar's strengths is undoubtedly its cocktails, crafted with great skill and attention to flavor balance, setting them apart from the city average. The atmosphere is charming and welcoming, perfect for a quick stop or an informal meeting. The only area that could be improved is the food: unfortunately, compared to other bars in the area that offer more lavish aperitifs, the amount of food served with the drinks is slightly smaller.

26/05/2026: I've been going to South Tyrol for decades now. Sometimes we stay for a few days, sometimes it's just a spontaneous one-night visit during one of our motorcycle or convertible tours. What I incredibly appreciate about the region, and what I've always experienced, is the warm hospitality. You arrive and hear a genuine, "Hello, did you have a good journey? Welcome!" You immediately feel at ease. Unfortunately, it was completely different at the Hotel Alpenland. The reception was extremely cold: a brief "Hello," the room key, and that was it. When I asked about the restaurant's opening hours, I received the curt reply: "It's all written here" (pointing at an information sign), "and in the room too." Spoiler alert: There was absolutely no information in the room. Unfortunately, things continued in a similar vein. Upon arriving in the room, we discovered that it wasn't the type of room we had booked at all. "Mistakes happen," I thought, and went back to reception. The lady's reply, however, came in an absolutely accusatory tone: "The room isn't available if you're only booking one night." The odd thing is, we'd only booked two days before arrival, and according to the website, the room was available for just one night. We were then given a different room in the same price category, which we didn't like at all. While the short-stay surcharge was waived the next day, it would have been professional to have informed us about this and offered the waiver directly at check-in. That would have made a completely different impression. I initially wanted to complain to the owners that evening, but then the staff informed me that the lady at reception was the owner herself. So, unfortunately, that was pointless. To be fair, the room was absolutely spotless, and the spa area with sauna and steam room was fantastic. The culinary aspect, however, was a disappointment. Dinner was okay, but it bore absolutely no resemblance to the promising pictures and descriptions on the website. The main course selection was also extremely meager, with only two dishes to choose from – we're used to much better in South Tyrol. We had a significantly better experience last year at another hotel on the same street. Unfortunately, breakfast the next morning was the low point: the chocolate croissants were bone dry, and the overall selection was extremely limited. We barely ate anything and left immediately. A little more South Tyrolean hospitality would do the hotel a world of good.

14/03/2026: Excellent hotel, super friendly atmosphere and staff, and breakfast and dinner were very good. For relaxation, there's a wellness area with a pool, sauna, and small gym. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

28/06/2026: I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. (I had my doubts because of the other reviews.) The food was absolutely delicious, and the steak was perfect. The service was also good. We even received a complimentary limoncello at the end. We ate here twice. Highly recommended.

08/01/2026: We've been to this bar/gelateria a couple of times over the Christmas holidays. I have to say, the products are very good. Quality gelato. The hot chocolate is nice and thick and tasty, without too much sugar. The only downside is the staff: as other reviews have stated, they're not friendly! It wouldn't take much to raise the review score: a hello, a smile, and a little courtesy!

05/04/2026: Even on a less crowded day, the food should be fresh given the prices. A glass of lukewarm latte macchiato, a small dessert, and a coffee totaled 10 euros, and obviously without a receipt. The review can't be positive. Good location and capacity.

29/03/2026: The restaurant is located right in the middle of the slopes, which is very charming as well as practical. I didn't like the dining room very much because it's very crowded; it's better to sit outside when possible.
