12/01/2025: Se passate dalle zone di Castellammare del Golfo/ Scopello, non potete non passare da questo ristorante. Tradizione e ricercatezza nelle prosopste sul menù. Freschezza e genuinità dei prodotti e dei sapori, porzioni abbondanti e prezzi più che onesti. Personale attento e cortese. Note di merito per la loro caponata e per il liquore all’arancio fatto in casa.

11/01/2025: Cibo di massima qualità e personale attento e preparato. Siamo capitati per caso il primo giorno del nostro tour della Sicilia, siamo tornati apposta anche l'ultimo giorno.

09/02/2025: The food here was excellent, surpassed only by the warm and friendly service. Neither of us were terribly hungry so we shared a meal that was split in the kitchen for us with all the garnishes. When we came in I was cold, so the owner moved the heater over right next to me. We were served panelle as a gratis appetizer that was delicious. We were treated with warmth and kindness from the minute we arrived and highly recommend you enjoy a meal with these kind people.

29/12/2024: Una de las cenas más mediocres de nuestra semana en Sicilia. Habíamos leído buenas críticas pero la realidad es que ha sido una de las peores experiencias de nuestro viaje. Ya al leer la carta nos costó Dios y ayuda decidirnos por algo que nos sedujera mínimamente. Platos poco atractivos, con mezclas que no parecía (como así fue) que pudiesen funcionar.Probamos 5 platos y ni uno solo levantó pasiones, más bien al contrario. Un bacalao fresco, no incomible, pero demasiado salado y del montón; unas sepias a la plancha que tuvimos que dejar en el plato, duras como una piedra, crudas y quemadas; una pasta rellena que no sabía absolutamente a nada y unos macarrones grandes con una crema de patata infumable. Salimos de allí lo más rápido posible y lo que había sido un recibimiento amigable (el dueño se sentó en nuestra mesa para hacernos recomendaciones y hablarnos de sus vacaciones en Canarias) se tornó en una despedida fría sin ofrecernos ni postre. Obviamente él también se había dado cuenta que no nos había gustado la cena y optó por no hacer ningún comentario al respecto. Creo que él también era consciente de que nos había dado gato por liebre y que no nos la había colado. Comida sin personalidad ni sabor, cara para la mediocridad de lo recibido. La peor experiencia de nuestro viaje.

I piatti sono veramente generosi, considerate di condividere qualche portata: noi abbiamo preso l'antipasto misto di pesce (2) e u primo a testa e non siamo riusciti a terminarli! Qualità e cortesia

11/01/2025: Su consiglio dell'host del resort in cui alloggiamo ci siamo diretti verso questo locale... Le nostre esperienze passate, non proprio positive, ci hanno insegnato/consigliato un primo approccio guardingo e sospettoso! Arrivati dinnanzi il locale ci siamo trovati un ristorantino (così come amano definirsi) molto intimo, elegante e (cosa nn da poco) lontano dalla bolgia turistica che affollano le vie centrali di San Vito anche in questo settembre nn proprio dei migliori. Seduti ci siamo subito resi conto dell'affabilità del personale e della proprietaria. Avendo le idee abbastanza chiare su cosa assaggiare abbiamo ordinato quasi subito Cous Cous di pesce e una Carbonara di mare. Il mio essere romano "integralista" mi ha fatto storcere il naso nel leggere Carbonara di mare ma tant'è che ho soprasseduto e l'ho ordinata. Per non tirarla troppo per le lunghe... Piatti eccezionali, ricercati e non affatto miserrimi per le quantità! Un plauso a tutto lo staff e al cuoco! P.S. abbiamo avuto modo, nella stessa sera, di consigliare la Carbonara ad un altro concittadino scettico... Chissà se sarà rimasto entusiasta come noi 😅?!? Complimenti vivissimi. P.P.S. Non allego alcuna foto... Non ne abbiamo fatte... Nn abbiamo fatto in tempo 😋

05/01/2025: Ho cenato in questo bel ristorante, locale situato nella via principale di San Vito, locale elegante e accogliente, il servizio è stato impeccabile, il personale gentile e premuroso. Ho scelto il cous cous di pesce, veramente saporito e abbondante e anche una caponata con il tonno che si scioglieva in bocca. Vi ritornerò sicuramente

24/01/2025: Establishment frequented by locals, outside the old town. I would have given 4 stars without a problem if I had not been so disappointed by the sea couscous: good semolina but dominated by cinnamon, two small fish in total, the first edible despite the bones, the second downright inedible because it is hard and dry. Good pasta, uninteresting desserts.

15/01/2025: I bought a strawberry gelato (fragola) and it was the most horrible I've ever had, it tastes like gelatin, very chemical, as I have a sensitive stomach the ice cream caused me pain, service was a little confusing and they clearly don't like people who don't speak Italian... .

07/01/2025: Siamo passati di qui per caso e mai scelta fu migliore! Cordiali, veloci e cibo super buono. Molto consigliati i cannoli e le arancine. Noi abbiamo preso quelli al ragù, tra i migliori che abbia mai mangiato e prezzi onestissimi! Se tornerò ad Alcamo sicuramente tornerò
