Recommended, we weren't disappointed.
The arancino with ham and mozzarella was good but not memorable, while the one with ragù won us over with its richness and quality of filling.
We loved the scacce.

25/08/2025: Very nice staff! We ordered two Arancini, one with Ragu and one with spinach and cheese. Very tasty and affordable! Especially for a quick pit stop.

from the excellent quality food and wide selection to the kindness of the staff.
I've been upstairs several times, where they have a reception room. It's very elegant and welcoming, always beautifully decorated. I've enjoyed live music, and after a delicious dinner, great dancing in the center of the room until late...
The staff was always attentive to their guests' every request. The open bar is also excellent, with a wide variety of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
I recommend it for celebrating birthdays, graduation parties, first communions, etc.

14/07/2025: This bar also sells tickets for the Giamporcaro line. Today, there's a stop-and-go public transport strike. Many of us were waiting for the 11:00 bus, which didn't arrive. I went to ask if the 1:00 bus would arrive. The owner dismissed me brusquely, saying that the 11:00 bus had arrived because he'd sold 30 tickets that morning. If it hadn't, he'd have 30 people complaining, but instead, I was the only one. What can you say to someone who concocts such illogical sophistries?

05/08/2025: One-star prices! Avoid the aperitif. A platter of poor-quality cured meats and cheeses, served with a few slices of white focaccia: nothing more, for a whopping €20. Spritz not included. Absurd.

02/01/2026: The New Year's Eve dinner was awful, the fish inedible and cold. The entertainment was nonexistent, I didn't even notice it struck midnight. All for the modest cost of €90.00 per person.

The Negronis were superbly balanced and well worth the money. The aperitif platter was truly excellent in quality, with obvious local products and the feeling you want when ordering an Italian aperitif platter!

02/05/2025: Delicious succulent meat! It will definitely quench your thirst for a great steak. Everyone is so nice and patient. My Italian is poor, but they worked with us and recommended a tasting comprised of 2 kinds of steak. Delicious and tender. If I can, I would definitely come back.

Perhaps it would be better to include a few more side dishes. I highly recommend it.

21/06/2025: Nella bella piazza della Cattedrale di San Giovanni, lo storico Caffè Italia per colazione, il Circolo Italia per Pranzo e Cene anche di Gala sono una Istituzione Ragusana. Ottimo tutto dal gambero fritto al tataki di tonno rosso. Dai primi di pasta fresca fino al trancio di branzino e la torta con crema pasticcera e frutta fresca. Buona scelta di vini
