09/10/2025: Fantastic from start to finish. Very considered food - excellent depth of flavour, interesting combinations, presented beautifully and diligently served. The amuse-bouches highlight the chef’s devotion to detail and delight. The fact that so many of the dishes across the menu are coeliac-friendly highlights the thoughtfulness of the recipes. Worth every cent
02/10/2025: We went to this restaurant thanks to the various reviews. An excellent discovery of Sicilian cuisine. Everything was perfect, from the welcome, to the kindness of the server, to the contact of the CHEF with whom we spoke, and of course his innovative cuisine. Excellent dishes, interspersed with petits fours.
We would like to return, but we are just passing through... Thank you very much.

21/10/2025: We had lunch at this Osteria on a Sunday in October. It's a secluded and welcoming place, the staff are polite and professional, and the food is very good. We ordered a fish parmigiana, which was good but a bit bland. We followed it with a baked grouper with citrus fruits and spinach, which was very good. It's a shame the spinach wasn't enough, and they didn't provide us with the weight of the grouper, which, given that it was fresh and weighed, should have been provided.
The only downside is the excessively high bill: €90 per kilo for the fish and €20 for a glass of wine seems excessive to me.
20/10/2025: The service was genuine and warm, and they weren’t pushy to upsell. I appreciated their clear explanation of the catch of the day, including the offer to have the fish prepared in two ways: Sicilian capers and sultana stew, and homemade breadcrumbs. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the service team and chef!

10/10/2025: Ristorante da Giovanni was a fantastic experience! The seafood pastas were absolutely delicious, and the view of Isola Bella was breathtaking. A perfect spot to enjoy fresh Sicilian flavors by the sea! 🌊🍝✨ Desert was something special too!
03/10/2025: I was looking for delicious food in Taormina and came across this place after seeing good reviews. The view was amazing, and I was so satisfied with everything I ordered. I especially loved the cool and wonderful service from Matteo💕, so if I had stayed longer, I would have come back again. Thank you for making my Taormina memories so good. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's thinking about it, don't hesitate!!!!👍👍

08/11/2025: Using a hockey expression, this restaurant delivered an amazing Hat Trick. The service, presentation and taste were absolutely fantastic. We started with the tuna tatare. Then followed that with the catch of the day cooked Siciliano style.We couldn’t leave without trying the Homemade PannaCotta. This has to have been one of the best fish restaurant I have tried in a very long time. Thank you Salvatore!

10/11/2025: Delicious very tasty food. Lasagna and linguine pescatore. Bruschetta and limoncello.
Good service and friendly staff. Love that it’s down away from the main thoroughfare. Great atmosphere too!

01/11/2025: Not only did my husband and I return to this delightful restaurant, we went four times during our eight days in Taoromina. On our first night there, we sat beside a couple who said they had been there three times during their stay. The entire staff welcomed us back warmly we saw other familiar faces.
Our meals were tasty and always satisfying.
Anna was not only knowledgeable about Sicilian foods and wines, she came to know what our tastes were and happily made suggestions which introduced us to local new delights.
We highly recommend dropping in.
31/10/2025: We had a tuna risotto appetizer.
The seafood risotto was horrible. It tasted only of tomato, full of sand. When we told the waiter what had happened, he suggested redoing it because he thought the problem was the pepper.
Re-made it without pepper, nothing changed.
The tuna was raw!
The oyster appetizer was good, but everything else was normal—in fact, for Sicily, it was even average-to-low!

02/10/2025: The three stars are only for the arranchinis. We ordered coca cola zero and they gave us something else that they called “sicilian coca cola zero”. They didn’t tell us for that thing as we were talking to be bottled and to take it to go.

09/11/2025: We’ve been all around Italy and have never had a bad meal until tonight. Terrible pizza, tasteless crust and toppings. Had the Seabass supposedly encrusted with almonds….. horrible as well. I saw someone at another table barely eat their pizza as well. Don’t go here.
07/11/2025: We had our first lunch of our 2 week Italy trip here. We loved the Margherita and pesto pizzas. My husband also got the gnocchi, which he loved. Cute outdoor spot for lunch, would recommend.
