16/05/2025: Visitamos Franco Wine Bar en Taormina el 13 de mayo. Decidimos probar sus arancini. Pedimos el pistacho con queso y los de berenjena. También pedimos su cóctel Vulcano Spritz. El personal era acogedor, muy amable y extremadamente paciente mientras tratábamos de hablar italiano. La comida era deliciosa y los cócteles eran geniales también. Sin duda recomendaría una visita si estás en la zona.

07/05/2025: Mi pareja y yo estábamos en un tour con CIE Tours y pasamos la mañana con una visita guiada de Taormina y luego tuvimos la tarde para tomarnos un tiempo por nuestra cuenta y descubrir la belleza de Taormina, lo que hicimos. El día fue pintoresco y disfrutamos de toda la belleza que la ciudad tiene para ofrecer, entrando en hermosas iglesias, encendiendo velas y caminando y disfrutando de todo. Vimos a un hombre que invitaba a la gente a Franco Wine Bar y Comida Típica Siciliana y pasamos, pero de alguna manera fue tan acogedor que entramos y al entrar, llegó la lluvia. Estábamos en el cielo, pidiendo arancini y canoli y ensaladas, no en ese orden pero el ambiente era mágico y nos topamos con otro cupé de Londres y charlamos y cenamos y cenamos y charlamos y... no podríamos haber encontrado un lugar mejor. La comida era tan excelente, nos quedaba tanto pan con la ensalada, empacamos lo que no pudimos terminar y disfrutamos de vuelta en nuestro hermoso hotel... El Franco Wine Bar & Típica Comida Siciliana era un ahora 'recuerdo' de Taormina para nosotros, y tenemos buenos pensamientos y palabras amables para el personal, son muy excelentes! 03/06/2025: Great food, reasonable prices. The antipasta sapori di mare is a must, the mixed seafood appetizers. Pasta was also delicious, staff is very helpful and polite.

02/06/2025: The restaurant da Giovanni was truly a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, bright with a breathtaking view of the balcony overlooking Isola Bella. The dishes are delicious, with very fresh ingredients, prepared with care. Excellent food quality. Familiar and professional welcome, the staff was friendly, attentive and ready to satisfy any request. Highly recommended.

18/05/2025: We had the best dinner here tonight. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I ordered the gnocchi and they were the best I have had in Taormina. They also had heaters next to the table's since it was cool outside. I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious!

10/05/2025: Il ristorante si trova in un bel vicolo di Taormina, lontano dal caos. Il pesce è buono e molto fresco e la proprietaria molto cordiale e competente. Attenzione ai prezzi peró, soprattutto del vino, poichè abbiamo pagato un calice circa 16 euro. Nel complesso la qualità è ottima ma per un antipasto e un primo non spenderete meno di 80 euro a testa.

07/06/2025: A magical experience on the island of Etna Wherever you go on the island, you can’t go wrong, every dish here is prepared with local ingredients, and the flavors are exactly what you would expect from the residents of the land of Etna. But not everywhere did we experience the same level of genuine hospitality and expertise as we did at Mr. Santino’s place Mr. Santino personally attended us - a rare treasure these days. While we were eating, we noticed that every guest received their order incredibly fast, and with the very first bite, smiles of surprise and delight appeared on their faces: “How can something be this delicious?” This place has a truly special charm, not only because of the flavors but also thanks to the atmosphere and surroundings, and Mrs Santino If you’re looking for an authentic, heartfelt Sicilian culinary experience, this spot is an absolute must. Please note, restaurants are busy sometimes and service can be slow if many people approach in the same time! Five stars from us - we would gladly return anytime and will do! 02/06/2025: Very fresh and lovingly made dishes! Beautiful view to the Isola Bella and a very warm service. Thank you for having us! We were there for lunch and can recommend to try the pasta with king prawns and the grilled fresh fish.

29/05/2025: This restaurant has been our favorite for many years. The pasta is very good. The pizza used to be phenomenal - but sadly it has been removed from the menu and is no longer made here. The tartare is still mixed in front of us by the owner, who always takes care of his guests. The view of Etna and the sea from a restaurant is the best we have found in 15 years of traveling around Sicily. It is more expensive than it used to be - inflation, but it is still worth a dinner here for lovers of an amazing view and atmosphere.

28/05/2025: We had dinner here and the food was excellent, the staff were also very friendly and attentive. After having eaten in plenty of restaurants around Taormina this was certainly one of the best.

25/05/2025: What can I say? Absolutely stunning!! We visited last night for drinks and the staff were so amazing we went back for food and wine tonight. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was absolutely amazing. Never ever had a carbonara like it. We were going to go to try Osteria da Rita but thx manager was so rude we decided against it! A must must must visit in Taormina!! Thank you so much xxx
