30/08/2024: The food, wine and service were all phenomenal in this restaurant tucked away in a quiet and romantic courtyard. Sisters Sarah and Jaqueline are a power house running this restaurant. We knew it was going to be a great night and that we were in good hands by the way Sarah greeted us. The hospitality is over the top, as if all customers are family. Sarah was passionate in how she described the specials. Bringing a tray of the freshly caught fish was a treat. The chefs are skilled at preparing the fish you choose in a number of different ways. My husband enjoys fine wine and Sarah had wonderful expertise in knowing which Sicilian wines would best accompany what we ordered. A personal favorite was the pasta with Rock Lobster and Sea Bass with vegetables. As an American I personally appreciated that they did not drag out our dinner for hours and hours. The two young men who quietly shuttled dishes from the kitchen and discreetly cleared tables were a delight. We will be back.

26/08/2024: Very high prices, know this before you go. Having said this premise, a totally different level. If you want to make an investment, do it. The fantastic raw fish as well as the seafood salad that you will hardly find so fresh and with real flavours.

03/07/2024: This place was absolutely fantastic. The service was amazing and somehow the food was even better. We had lasagna, pasta with pesto, pasta olio with peperoncino, antipasto, melon and prosuttio and bruschetta. Every dish was better than the next and I could not pick a favorite. Located just off of the main road and absolutely amazing from start to finish.

24/08/2024: Ottimo ristorante in posizione comodissima anche per il parcheggio. Personale disponibile. Un plauso particolare alla cameriera originaria di Cuba, preparata, sempre professionale, ma allo stesso tempo amichevole e accogliente. Grazie a lei ed alle proposte di piatti del giorno sempre diversi, siamo tornati per 5 giorni consecutivi! Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, ottima carta dei vini. Proposta varia e soddisfacente sia per quanto riguarda la pizza, sia i secondi di pesce.

26/10/2023: The food was delicious and the service excellent. Beware the specials. No prices given and 35 Euros for a pasta, instead of 20 ish for others. Naughty. Also don't expect to see the view from your table. The tables are too low.

18/10/2023: Hervorragendes Essen mit grandioser Bedienung. Für Genießer ein absolutes Muss. Wir kommen nächstes Mal sehr gerne wieder. Grazie

01/09/2024: I ate here for the dinner and i took the pasta with the lobster it was amazing really nice restaurant and the waiters are really kind.. u should try it

01/12/2024: The food was extremely disappointing, to say the least. We ordered the tuna tartare thinking, 'we're right next to the ocean, I'm sure seafood is great here,' and we were sadly disappointed. The tuna was disgusting and barely edible, probably previously frozen. The mussels were overly salty and otherwise flavorless. The bread was STALE. The wine was the only saving grace of this meal. For the cherry on top of disappointment, the server asked us to leave a tip in cash when he dropped off the bill. It was the biggest waste of money we had in Taormina, it was absolutely terrible and we had a crummy couple of hours afterward just thinking about the money we wasted. Do yourself a favor and DON'T EAT HERE!!!

01/08/2024: After several holidays in Taormina, we returned again this year. One of the highlights of our visit was discovering this beautiful wine bar, just few steps down from Corso Umberto. Talk about ‘far from the madding crowd’, this little haven does ‘aperitivo’ on another level. Always warmly greeted, quickly seated and promptly attended, the staff were fantastic, all of them. Great music, great nibbles and awesome drinks (mainly Aperol Spritz and Bloody Mary). You really made a most pleasant difference to our stay this time, and rest assured, we will definitely be back….thank you!

30/07/2024: Will not come back… expensive for what you get.
