02/07/2025: Le Naumachie is one of the best places to eat in Taormina. Situated next to the remains of one of the most historic corners of Taormina (the Naumachia building), it is atmospheric and majestic. The restaurant’s chef offers his guests tasteful and stunning dishes, beautifully presented, equivalent to those of a Michelin * restaurant. In between each course, you are offered a (complimentary) amuse bouche, each one of them being a true state of the art! They have an excellent wine list, for every purse, starting from a fairly low price/bottle and raising up to thousands of euros/bottle, should you feel spendy 😊 (this is not to be considered as a drawback, though, since one can pick one of the value-for-money wines they offer at lower prices)! The restaurant has surely invested well and wise on their service, which was excellent -relaxed and friendly, as another client suggested- and always ready to discuss their menu options and offer analytical details about everything (including the site’s history 😊). The signora at the entrance (I believe the owner’s mother) invites you at the restaurant as if you were back home! We will surely enjoy another dinner at this fantastic restaurant, when we return to Taormina, and enjoy an even better bottle of wine (or even two), something that we weren’t able to do this time, since we had an almost 2-hour drive back to Siracusa and drinking and driving is not advisable! The price range below included a value-for-money bottle of wine, two starters and two main courses.

22/06/2025: Fantastic food and service. Cozy atmosphere and great location. A bit hidden away but would recommend anyone visiting Taormina to eat here! Order something from the "catch of the day" menu and you won't be disappointed!

03/07/2025: We were in Taormina for a week and visited different places. We probably had dinner and lunch here 6 times, because it can't be compared with other places. Everything was great, very tasty, high quality and the prices were very pleasant, the service was top notch! We were always complimented when we came back. We also chose this place to celebrate a birthday and didn't regret it! I highly recommend it, this place has become our favorite place in Taormina!

02/07/2025: A wonderful little pub on the sidelines, during the day only regulars, so I didn't have to wait for a table. The service was impolite, and the food was delicious. The best pizza I've ever eaten (fantasia), you can taste the fresh ingredients from the top shelf.

The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish prepared with fresh ingredients and presented with care. The linguine vongole was delicate and full of flavor, the rich bolognese was comfort in a bowl, and the lobster—tender and perfectly seasoned—was a showstopper. Pair all of that with a breathtaking view that sweeps across the coastline, and you’ve got a dining experience that’s both elegant and soul-warming. The staff made the evening even more special with their friendly service and thoughtful recommendations. You can feel the love and tradition behind every plate. 24/06/2025: We had two iced lattes and a cannoli. Everything was delicious, and the guy who served us was very friendly. The prices were reasonable for the place.

20/06/2025: Perfect spot to stop by in Taormina for an aperitivo or a quick bite. It's a family-run place, and you can really feel the pride they take in their service. We had a traditional Sicilian sandwich, a fresh salad, and a few snacks - honestly one of the best meals I had during my trip to Sicily. Highly recommend!

18/05/2025: We had the best dinner here tonight. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I ordered the gnocchi and they were the best I have had in Taormina. They also had heaters next to the table's since it was cool outside. I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious!

10/05/2025: Il ristorante si trova in un bel vicolo di Taormina, lontano dal caos. Il pesce è buono e molto fresco e la proprietaria molto cordiale e competente. Attenzione ai prezzi peró, soprattutto del vino, poichè abbiamo pagato un calice circa 16 euro. Nel complesso la qualità è ottima ma per un antipasto e un primo non spenderete meno di 80 euro a testa.

17/06/2025: Quintessential Sicilian Seafood dining experience. The meal was deliciously fresh and well balanced, and the atmosphere was sensational. Our experience was elevated by the excellent service provided from all staff, in particular, our host who recommended dishes and made us feel wonderfully welcomed. Could not be more pleased with our experience!

17/06/2025: Wonderful experience, and amazing host who recommended what to order, and really made us feel like a valued customer. The seafood is excellent. Located in a side street, it is perfect for dining.

01/07/2025: Overpriced and smaller than general portions. Taormina in general is expensive, so it's no surprise really. Service was kind, but a bit slow. The meat was called entrecote, but doesn't resemble the cut as it's known in other countries. The fried vegetables were cold. The house wine was way overpriced for the quality served. Can't recommend, but we at least finished the food.

30/06/2025: Great view and atmosphere. Everything they served to our table was perfect, except the local desert (Cassata). Get another one, if you go for a desert!

08/07/2025: Honestly so disappointed that we wasted an evening in Sicilia eating here. In the land of plentiful amazing food, this is NOT IT. I don’t know if this awful meal was a fluke, but the pizza was basic at best. At worst, Arugula was replaced by soggy shredded lettuce. The prosciutto on top was left with inedible thick fat and rind. The lobster pasta made with linguini (and spaghetti) was overcooked tasted like it with was made only with tomato sauce and no salt. We did see some other tables with a whole cooked fish that looked good if you find yourself with no other restaurant choices.

06/07/2025: Wonderful restaurant, excellent service, friendly and nice owners, wonderful chef! The food is great! We came to this restaurant by chance, now we only go here for dinner!

04/07/2025: One thing to clarify: if I point out the chipped glass you must not sulk at me. Anyway, the dishes are good "but without wow".
