They make the best sandwiches in the world, but the quality comes at a cost. In fact, you spend quite a bit on food, but everything else is top-notch.
10/09/2025: The food is excellent. The burgers, in particular, are truly delicious, and Tina's kindness and courtesy complete the dining experience in a simple, relaxed atmosphere.

25/11/2025: I've had the privilege of traveling extensively since I was a kid, and I remember the smell of British pubs in the early '90s.
Is it just a hint?
As I entered, I smelled the same unmistakable aroma.
If this setting weren't enough to justify the sacrosanct "5 stars," I'd add that the food and beer were also satisfying.
God save "the Rose and Crown"!

22/02/2026: Despite having a reservation, we were seated an hour late, and when we ordered, they told us they were out of burgers. Furthermore, the quality of the ingredients was very poor.
31/12/2025: I generally like Medieval, but I went back for the last time after a year's absence and had an unpleasant surprise: the meat isn't the same anymore :( The meat schnitzel used to be a real piece of meat... now it's a store-bought thing made of meat assembled in layers. Come on guys, you can't get ahead by lowering the quality of the products!!
The extra star is for the service and the aesthetics of the place.
PS: Tartare lovers: don't order it! They make it with ground beef, not hand-minced meat.

28/02/2026: After a side lunch at a restaurant in Bari, a group of friends and I all went to this bar for coffee and dessert. The coffee is well known, and the chocolates and desserts in general are exquisite. However, as excellent as every product is, the prices are a bit high. I give it five stars because the staff, and especially the young woman who served us, is truly helpful and cheerful. This, unfortunately, is not something you'll find in the shops of Bari.

After years, I came back for a herbal tea—a pompadour teabag, I should say—and I paid 4 euros. And there's the Principality of Monaco.
28/01/2026: Nice place, with just a couple of games to pass the time. The service was efficient but not particularly impressive. The sandwich, however, wasn't good at all. The burger, though well-cooked, didn't taste good, and the fries lacked salt. The experience itself wasn't bad.

21/10/2025: Excellent Sunday lunch, quiet place, and stunning view. Fresh fish, well-cooked, paired with a good local wine. Friendly service.
But there's still room for improvement. Fair prices considering the location...we'll definitely be back!!

02/03/2026: I don't recommend it, we ordered an aperitif: four bowls of appetizers (olives, taralli, rice, and peanuts) and a plate of rotisserie, in which we found a HAIR!
In addition to the food, we ordered a spritz, two beers, and a Fanta. The whole thing cost us €36, and the lady wasn't even capable of offering us a discount, considering that after finding the hair, we only ate half of it.
A disappointment!!!

01/01/2026: Reheating meals in a microwave is just shameful! The food was tasteless and the wine wasn't great either. The place is really crammed - really hard to move around (to go to toilet) because all tables are almost glued to each other
24/12/2025: Christmas Eve aperitif 13 euros for a small plate of appetizers with stale taralli, drinks on the side (at least they could have specified that) and they charge you 3 euros for serving yourself on paper plates and cups... 25 euros for an aperitif... absurd!!
