23/06/2025: We were there for a party but I was able to verify that there are many parking spaces, entering the lawn we also find comfortable outdoor armchairs, inside the room we were in the cool and we enjoyed the dishes served. Well done I will return

22/06/2025: I've been with my relatives but the food wasn't always very good, the waiting time is centuries old and the environment is quite nice but not clean. Very high prices. I don't recommend it

07/07/2025: Historic bar in Torre a Mare, located in one of the main streets overlooking the sea. It has a veranda with outdoor tables for drinks to order, excluding ice cream cones and cups. Good products and average prices. Finding parking in the immediate vicinity is quite easy.

06/06/2025: Iniziamo dal servizio: è chiaro che in cucina imprevisti o contrattempi possono accadere, ma far uscire piatti a singhiozzo, costringendo ognuno a mangiare per conto proprio, senza che nessuno dello staff abbia mai cercato di gestire il problema, anticipando semplicemente delle scuse o premurandosi di verificare in cucina lo status dei piatti, non ci è affatto piaciuto. Per quando riguarda il cibo, crudo di mare gustoso (a parte i ricci totalmente senza sapore), antipasti di pesce caldi nulla di che (sushi freddissimo), risotto ai frutti di mare slegato e insipido (buone le vongole). Allo sbarazzo dei piatti, con ancora del cibo, nessuno che si sia preoccupato di chiedere il perché non avessimo gradito, se non altro per dimostrare attenzione verso il cliente e disponibilità a migliorarsi.

21/04/2025: Ancora una volta,oggi giorno di Pasquetta in Famiglia,il titolare con tutto lo staff,erano impegnati nel soddisfare le nostre richieste.Antipasti eccellenti,crudo di mare una bontà unica,due primi aragosta con le linguine,un risotto ai frutti di mare,poi delle verdure crude,due piatti di una croccante frittura di paranza Abbiamo completato il pranzo,con sorbetto,caffè,amaro è un dolce,tutti soddisfatti per la disponibilità,professionalità ma soprattutto per la serietà che il Sig.Donato,dedica a questo lavoro,come sempre grazie di tutto allo staff,quelli in sala è quelli in cucina,arrivederci alla prossima.Un saluto cordiale da Emanuele.

17/07/2025: We had pizza at the terrace, probably the best pizza we had in Italy. Amazing view and food.

15/07/2025: A great bar with excellent service in a great location... I recommend it for a morning break with a cappuccino and a croissant.

04/05/2025: I'm in via Napoli with my two children for a dessert, we find ourselves in front of this run-down pastry shop but we decide to brace ourselves and go in. At first glance the pastries were also nice. We decide to order some of them, reading the receipt I was scared: 4 euros for a "nun's tit" (that's what they call it in Bari). AFTER HAVING ASKED FOR A RECEIPT THREE TIMES, AN OLD OLD WOMAN (I presume a relative of the bartenders) YELLS AT ME IN THE BARESE LANGUAGE: "WE PAY THE VAT". AFTER YET ONE SOLICITATION, THE RECEIPT ARRIVED FROM A LITTLE BOY WITH HIS HANDS DIRTY WITH POWDERED SUGAR. After touching the money without washing his hands, he takes the sweets while conspicuously chewing gum with his mouth open. THE PASTRY ARRIVED ON THE TABLE. I KNOW SOME KIDS PLAYING CARDS WITH BETTING (they looked like minors). LASTLY AS THE ICING ON THE CAKE THE PASTRY WERE SOUR AND STOMACHING HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I give 2 stars only out of pity for the two kids who served. Even though as soon as I noticed the horrible taste of the pastries we were insulted in Bari dialect.

15/07/2025: Aperitivo caro ma buono. In occasione di un onomastico, abbiamo regalato al festeggiato un aperitivo con tutti gli amici al Bar Moderno, da sempre sinonimo di qualità. Il personale è molto professionale ed il bar è molto pulito ed ordinato. Ricordavo una qualità del cibo migliore. Fermo restando che è sempre buona, adesso è calata un pò e questo fa rientrare lo storico bar all'interno dei locali "nella media" per rapporto qualità prezzo.

16/07/2025: A very beautiful location surrounded by trulli on all sides, with courteous and friendly staff. Unfortunately, however, the menu and the quality of the dishes are very touristy, and the prices are a bit high. A special note about the "Leccese" coffee, at €4.50, seemed way too high. It's a shame because the place is truly worth it.

18/06/2025: Small cafe right next to the train station. Friendly service, large selection of drinks, also something sweet. Prices are rather standard. I recommend!

20/05/2025: Typical cafe with a pastry shop and bar. Right by the train station. I recommend it while waiting for a train. As everywhere in such places in Italy, wonderful!
