23/08/2025: I went to have breakfast... I asked for an espresso and a croissant.
There was no one in the bar... the barista thought I wouldn't notice, so she heated the milk, put it in the glass, and stained it with the coffee she had aside.
I said, "Excuse me, I didn't hear the sound of the coffee machine arm when it's making..."
He said, "No." I had just made it for myself... we all know how to make espresso.
After paying, I didn't drink, and I told him, "Drink it, don't make fun of me."
I acted like a gentleman and left.
"Shame on you... after what it costs."

27/09/2025: Poor food, burnt fries, and burnt dough. The location is very run-down and in need of some maintenance. The only nice thing was that at the end, a unicorn mascot came to greet us and kicked us
out of the restaurant, climbing onto the table and dancing, saying, "Let's get drunk!"

17/10/2025: Fabulous pastries and excellent products; however, the experience was ruined by the rude, disorganized, and extremely unhelpful staff. The wait times are endless (regardless of the number of customers), the counter and table service staff are extremely unpleasant, encouraging customers to rush their orders, and they work reluctantly, openly and constantly complaining to customers.
Unfortunately, this isn't an occasional occurrence, but a daily occurrence.
16/10/2025: Unfortunately, time takes its toll. Good pastries and chocolates, but the service has deteriorated at the counter and, especially, at the tables.

I may be monotonous because I have my set menu here, but I'm convinced it's the best choice; the photos speak for themselves!
Peppered mussels, French fries, a ciccio with cherry tomatoes and arugula, and the inevitable fried local fish. The ultimate!
Take my advice, order this, and you'll leave the table simply HAPPY!
...and then let me know; try it and believe it! (And at a very reasonable price, too—out of line for Monopoli)

21/10/2025: Freshly fried fish, excellent appetizers, and delicious pizza. We recommend serving fried fish with your white pizza, seasoned with oil, salt, and oregano.

21/10/2025: Excellent Sunday lunch, quiet place, and stunning view. Fresh fish, well-cooked, paired with a good local wine. Friendly service.
But there's still room for improvement. Fair prices considering the location...we'll definitely be back!!

03/12/2025: €14 for two hot chocolates the size of regular coffees, a cinnamon cookie that tasted more like mint than cinnamon, and a Smartie cookie that tasted like panettone. I wouldn't recommend this bar if you're looking for something good.
06/10/2025: A quiet café with a terrace and friendly service where you can enjoy coffee and cornetto while waiting for the train to Rome. And I was able to draw in the shade.

15/10/2025: I never write negative reviews, but when it could help tourists like us, I feel like doing so.
Only the coffee and the location are good.
The bathroom is dirty (which I understand when not all customers are polite, but if they have a moment's free time, the staff is responsible for fixing it, which didn't happen; in fact, it was left that way).
The bill, unfortunately, is inflated on purpose to cater to tourists.
Don't go there!
27/09/2025: Absolutely disgusting toilets, no hand tissue, no hand wash, no toilet tissue, broken toilet flush.
Staff couldn’t care less. Avoid!

18/10/2025: Don't go there, and if you do, get up and leave. The situation was so awkward that all we could do was laugh at the various tables.
Laughing to lighten the mood. Dinner began with a cat wandering between the tables and then jumping onto the table where the fish was displayed, all to the indifference of the waiters. Dinner continued with a wine/vinegar being returned. The rest is a series of failures that need no telling. Now we're at the pizzeria to wash that taste of misfortune from our mouths.
Unfortunately, we also had to pay €80 for two.
23/09/2025: Worst place we’ve had dinner in Italy. Wine tasted like fish, servings were ridiculously tiny and prices were like a fancy restaurant (with a nasty small kitchen). They even brought some old bread we were almost finishing our food.
“Terrace” is in the highest floor but no views.
Decided not to order everything else after 50eur (2 person) of almost no food and went to have pizza to another place, avoid this restaurant please!
