13/08/2024: I came to Café Jérôme today and I am extremely disappointed with my visit. The staff were just unwelcoming and rude which ruined the whole experience. Despite a beautiful facade that catches the eye, the behind the scenes is quite different. The service is terrible, so much so that I absolutely do not recommend this place. We ordered three aperitifs, a Spritz and two Purple long drinks, but what a disappointment! The glasses were filled with ice, so much so that there was barely room for the drink itself. In other words, more ice cubes than Spritz, as shown in the photo I'm attaching to this review. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the waiters replied: "That's how we make cocktails." Very funny, but it's mostly theft. For an establishment that presents itself as chic, Café Jérôme is a real horror. Absolutely avoid.

16/07/2024: Personnel mal aimable, rajoute un euro par personne pour le service, ceci n’étant mentionné nul part dommage. A fuir pour les touristes.

10/07/2024: Attratti da un concerto di musica brasiliana con noti musicisti baresi, abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo bistrot che ci ha piacevolmente sorpresi per l'offerta di pizze classiche e gourmet molto buone. Sorpresa ulteriore il personale attento e gentilissimo!

20/08/2024: Rainy day and they treated us very well in their small interior on our first day at Monopolio Puglia-Italy. The drinks are exquisite. The treatment was excellent and always with a smile. I would definitely return and recommend it. Thank you

16/08/2024: A bit too much, 6.5 euros for a 0.5 stella on tap. But all in all, an ok place to kill time.

30/06/2024: Locale molto carino con una fornitissima cantina esposta che decora le pareti. Tavoli distanti sia dentro che nel dehors sul marciapiede. Personale splendido compresa la titolare (figlia d'arte ... "Biancofiore" è tra le mie recensioni) che si offre per accompagnare i clienti nella degustazione di vino e cibo: abbiamo bevuto bene mangiato ancora meglio. Nessun regalo ma la qualità ha un prezzo. Costanza e determinazione ed in poco tempo sarà IL LOCALE del Centro di Bari. Ci torno. Consiglio per forza.

01/09/2024: A truly peaceful and relaxing place! Too bad the privileges are reserved only for friends of the waiters and owners! We arrived on site around 12pm on Sunday and only one sunbed was available... without an umbrella! We accepted the purchase of just one cot and in agreement with the boy, as soon as a few places became free after a family of 2 with a little girl who was in line before us, we would have been able to sit down obviously paying the difference!!! After about an hour the family left and as soon as two sunbeds became free around 3pm we headed towards the sunbeds... to take our place and pay!! Too bad the boy comes over and tells us that there were two boys who were friends of friends who had blocked the sunbeds?! But how were we there after the family? !! Ok, we accepted and continued our day until at 4.30pm I asked for a coffee at the bar downstairs and they told me I had to go to the bar upstairs... nice to see friends of friends, those from before, receiving coffees directly on the sunbeds... .5pm I lay down on another sunbed that had become free…. The lido closes in just under an hour and they tell me I have to pay! I mean, am I right?! A bit of correctness, seriousness and why not flexibility given the rudeness you had towards customers who in any case also consumed at the bar during the hours in which they were on site would be an indication of professionalism!! I don't think you would have been able to rent that bed yet... and in fact it's still empty!! There was a lack of correctness, hospitality and kindness towards the customer! Disappointed with the service!!!

01/09/2024: I've been there several times in previous years but after what happened a couple of nights ago I would have gotten up and left right then and there!! -Excuse me, the wine is acidic - yes I actually heard it from the cap -(then why didn't you take him away?) - I'll change it right away - A thousand thanks He brings me a completely different bottle in terms of taste, blend and price, telling me: The owner said that if I open another bottle of the wine I ordered and it's sour again I'll have to make him pay anyway!! Are we kidding? If it's acidic it should be returned to the supplier and whether you open it to me or someone else makes no difference!! A huge rudeness!! I came to spend a nice romantic evening and I had to keep quiet and drink the wine that I didn't choose and I didn't like at all so as not to get up and leave and not ruin an appointment. Never again in this place!! The waiter was argumentative by remaining at the table to assert his position, taking away time for us, we didn't come to argue with the waiter!! I had to ask him politely if he would let us eat, then the second courses arrived while we still had half the starters on our plates. I don't know if it has changed management but I absolutely do not recommend it. I reply to the owner who calls me a fake to justify himself: I drink Calafuria almost every day and the bottle was sent back because it was sour, which the waiter also immediately confirmed, I never said that it wasn't to my taste, in fact I insisted on having another bottle precisely because I'm used to drinking that and having ordered a Calafuria, made from Negramaro grapes I don't understand why I had to drink a Susumaniello, if the second bottle but also the tenth would have been acidic I would have had to apologize and not blame myself by making me pay for it even though it wasn't drinkable. However, education and hospitality are not his strong points, as can also be seen from other reviews

06/07/2024: Great place... everything was very tasty, good wine, talkative owner, he came back to us several times to talk, he was happy to advise... I am very impressed with this place

30/03/2024: Bad experience, table booked at 9.30pm, order taken at 10pm and dish arrived at 11.50pm!!! . Without any updates, apologies from the staff or anything offered while waiting (apart from two olives and taralli). Very slow service, coming here just to drink and that's it, it's the only solution but we will never go back even for that.

12/07/2024: Very good coffee. The coffee is more roasted than the usual ones we has in other caffes, but very intense and good. We ate croissant and pastry with vanilla filling. We also had foccacia with potatoes and ham and a foccacia with mushrooms.

17/06/2024: Buona location, pulita con tavoli sia all’interno che all’esterno. Personale gentile e professionale. Ampia gamma di dolci di ogni tipo e gelati con vari gusti. Buono il servizio e l’impiattamento. Prezzo in linea con i servizi forniti. Consigliato.

29/05/2024: Sono stato con 2 amici a prendere un aperitivo spritz e ci hanno proposto un vassoio per entrambe noi partecipanti con sopra 5 pezzi con piccoli mignon ( no carne no pesce)....nulla di sconvolgente.....sostanzialmente prodotti da forno e abbiamo speso la modica cifra di 13 euro a testa....ma stiamo scherzando? Rammento ai titolari del Bar Moderno che in Molise,dove vivo, con un aperitivo e un vassoio a testa pieno di affettati e tramezzini spendo 7,50 euro a testa....e non c'è paragone.

16/07/2024: If a died tomorrow this was the best meal I have ever eaten. The seafood was so fresh and the beautiful backdrop of the marina was awesome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Porto Ercole. 👍👍👍

15/06/2024: Very romantic place on the shore of Porto Ercole. Quality fish but little choice of dishes and questionable fried food, especially regarding frying and chips. Insufficient service, not all professional waiters. I would return for the location and view but not for dining. Wines, on the other hand, nothing to say, ok and well explained.

14/08/2024: Very large room with space both inside and outside for smokers. Wide choice of draft beer. For food, with the exception of pasta, they have everything and more than what you can usually find in pubs.

02/08/2024: Siamo andati al Malto's il 2 agosto. Abbiamo mangiato delle patatine buonissime, piadine squisite e super condite con tanto prosciutto crudo, mozzarella e pomodoro, (impasto eccellente), insalate, birre e coca cola. Un ciccio ed il dolce! Serata bella e spensierata, eravamo fuori e siamo stati freschi, nonostante in città facesse molto caldo. I camerieri sono molto gentili e cordiali ed il conto giusto e non esoso. Torneremo sicuramente!
